SOLID GYM! Friendly front desk staff, the lady with a kind smile hooked me up with a day pass for very inexpensive ($6). I had previously used the free day pass you get from downloading the PF app.
Tons of cardio (treads, stair master, elliptical, rowers) with no wait - even at 6:30pm on a weeknight.
Good amount of machines. No wait for dumbbells though the dumbbell area does get a little crowded, you may have to wait for a bench. I did my biceps and triceps while standing.
Locker room was clean and had a digital scale. No paper towels in bathroom, rather the hand dryers.
People keep to themselves here, some groups of younger adults who were working out together.
Cleaning supplies very present, saw staff cleaning, and the hand sanitizer dispensers were visible and filled.
No problems with parking.

Today I canceled my membership, (Blackcard member)i’ve tried to use this gym. I use a wheelchair. The gym is not a good fit for me. I think management is terrible. There is a click inside of the gym that if you’re not part of the click, you’re being harassed as I have been regularly as I’ve stated before the local drug dealer parks his Lexus in front of the front door one of the main reasons I stopped coming, sits in the front of the gym, plays, music without headphones and the people that work there and management never say anything about it he never exercises he comes in to harass the woman along with a couple of his other Homies a few days ago, I had another verbal conversation that went terribly wrong in the gym where this man comes and harasses me regularly. I have no idea why oh yes I do. He just doesn’t like me because I’m not part of his group anyway I’ve had enough. I tried if management was better I might stay but management is terrible and has been another reason. I’m leaving when Covid first started when the gym closed the gym had just taken money for that month out of our accounts when the gyms open back up, they never replaced that money and they should have. I tried to address that issue and could never get a response from anyone recently The last 10 days I was hospitalized for a moment and my credit card wallet was locked on my phone and my payment didn’t go through on the 17th. They charge me $15 fee again and got their money so I’m done with planet fitness good luck if you’re a person with a disability like myself that uses a wheelchair and doesn’t walk I’d find somewhere else to exercise. You’re not welcome here.

I’ve been to Planet Fitness gyms at many locations across several states and this is one of the better ones. Machines are almost always all working, they even have an area where you can squat/bench with free barbells, the men’s bathroom and workout areas are pretty clean, and I’ve always had solid service from the staff. It’s busy during rush hour like almost all gyms but not too crowded otherwise for the space. Parking is always available pretty close to the entrance. Definitely recommend checking this out if you’re looking for a great value gym experience.

They just got so many new amazing pieces of equipment! Its a great location for strength training they are really prioritizing having a wide variety of machines/setups for weight lifting not just a million cardio machines (but they have new ones of those too!). The rates are amazing, its clean, and its such a convenient location if you live in this area. Yes it gets crowded but there just aren't that many gyms in this area and the app makes it easy to figure out times when its less busy. highly recommend.

The employee is here at 5 am and can’t get in because the manager changed the code and didn’t tell him now it’s 5:42 and he has been calling the owner to get the new code and he is not answering ! How do you change the code and not tell your opening employee that opens at 5am !! This is ghetto we work out before work ! We shouldn’t have to guess if the gym will be open!!! I have been with Planet Fitness for over 15 years. I recently moved and had to start going to another location. This is not far the dirties, most unkept, out dated planet fitness I have been to EVER. The machines are worn and old, the leather is cracked and patches are missing, the locker room stinks horribly, and it really seems like planet fitness cares nothing for this location nor the members that use it in this area. Currently shopping other gyms in the area before canceling on a gym that I have been with for 15 years.

Keep up with y’all things. Employees will throw away your belongings if left behind even if you just leave your things down for a quick bathroom break. I reported my water bottle vanishing after a quick bathroom break. no one seen the water bottle until I said run them cameras back. Now the dude victor new employee wanna say to the manager yea I found a bottle behind the trend-mill and through it out. But why was the water bottle not placed in the lost and found like the rest of the things that go missing. Why throw it away???? Questions planet fitness can’t answer. I never misplaced it. Mind you he was just telling me he hasn’t seen a blue water bottle and even went on to say that someone may have took it because it was a name brand water bottle. Is not about the water about is about the respect for customers belonging. We pay our monthly fees with no issues. We expect to be at a safe and comfortable place. I now know to carry all my things with me or have someone i can trust to watch over my things while taking a bathroom break. I came to leave a review because now everyone see me and act like they don’t see me while walking in the gym like they all know the employee was wrong but covering up for his actions.

Fine I'm the afternoon, but unless you simply want to use a treadmill or stair climber, there is not enough equipment for how busy this place is on an average night. It needs more benches in the free weight area, and another smith machine wouldn't hurt. This place is right next to my house so I would love to use it more frequently but I'll continue driving to the Princeton location.

Every year this gym gets worse. The staff doesn't do anything to keep the gym clean and organized during the day. But the worst thing is the locker rooms. They are absolutely disgusting. The floors, showers and toilets are filthy. Also about 80% of the lockers are broken, so if you can't find a working one you just have to hope no one steals your stuff. I'd like to believe it will get better but they know they're the cheapest gym which will make people keep enrolling so there is not much need to try and improve.

I've been a member of PF , Ewing since 2020. I took a break but came back in October 2024 and I'm very impressed. The gym is clean and the staff is friendly.
Yes, people sit on their fones instead of using the machines. This isn't an issue for me. I ask if they'll be long and they'll either let me use the machine or finish their workout without their fone.
It can get crowded after 4 pm.

Don’t hesitate joining. I went to the gym approximately 1 week before joining just to look around and see for myself because the reviews were mixed. I can honestly say this is an excellent facility. 1- it’s always clean, 2- the staff is friendly but I don’t need much interaction with staff only at check-in and that’s a pleasant hello or Good morning. 3- the gym is well equipped and there is no need to wait on someone to finish using a machine or such as they have multiples of most machines and lots of dumbbells. 4- The female locker area is quite spacious , it always looks and smells clean & comfortable. They have updated lockers and lots of space so even if the gym was packed you’d still have a place to put your valuables. I’m not sure what afternoons/evenings are like but you can know using the crowd meter in the app. However, mornings are fairly clear or well balanced; it never felt over crowded. I just completed my 1st month of going 3 times per week and I honestly love the environment & the amenities 👍🏾

This place choose and pick who can wear crocs. I was here on Wednesday and all managers were there and I seen about 3 people in slippers and crocks. The workers follow you around not to make sure you may need help but to watch that you putting your weights back. Again is only certain people they do this too. The bathrooms smell like nothing but piss. The toilets have Urine stains which cause the smell to reek. Everyone working here looks either mad and unprofessional. One kid always seems high while working. The manger always have an attitude and when spoke to his breath smells so bad it makes you regret the question immediately. The other manager walks around flirting with pretty girls and older woman. Literally is a ghetto place to walk into. Managers do not set up an example for the rest of the employees. They be eating behind the counter. Not greeting customers . They sitting on the counter while talking to each other. The place be smelling like pizza and fries from the employees eating in front of customers. So if you having a hard time staying away from bad food and tryna come to planet fitness on olden ave don’t do it because they are no gym. This is a ghetto and dirty environment. The customers clean the machines more than these lazy farts. They only seem to clean and be on they best behavior when the big manger is coming that day. This gym deserves no stars to bad I have to give them one. I won’t visit here again.

Sometimes they’re out of paper towels to wipe down the equipment so bring your own towel to put on your bench.

The stretching area is smaller than other locations. But there is always space for strength training. Plenty of benches and free weights.

This gym is walking distance from me so it's convenient for me it's clean at least when staff do it but the goers are just annoying first off it's a gym it's not a place where you can just trash your paper towels or you can just chat with your friends sitting on the equipment and not using it or treat the equipment like it's your own and guard it with your life or again sit on the equipment don't use it and just be on your phone yesterday I had to wait an hour to use the bench press because people use it just to sit and be on their phone and then one girl was guarding that thing like as if she owned it wasn't even using it

Planet Fitness of Ewing Twp has seen several managers come & go, renovations, temp closures (Covid), plumbing issues; but through it all, it has endured the test of time. The gym is a vibrant beacon of hope for those of us who are there to shed a few pounds & develop muscles we didn't know we had. The young men & women who are already in tip top form use the gym to get even more toner, leaner, muscular. Hercules! I watch how dedicated they are in achieving their individual goals. Staff interaction has gotten somewhat better, while others just ignore you. Be ready to wait for stuff and feel crowded if you go past 4pm. The equipment works well, but the customers almost never return things. The dumbells are left all over the entire gym. They also moved the bars to an area that has no place or benches to use them...makes no sense. I'm hoping they read and fix it cause the manager does care. The management has definitely stepped up, and the gym is always very clean and in good working order.

Planet Fitness of Ewing. What can I say? I've been a member there ever since it's inception. Gone through several managers, staff & renovations.
At the end of the day, I'm grateful to have a Planet Fitness so close to home. I'm there 5 to 6 days a week. Sometimes twice a day.
I just wish the staff worked more as a team. Often, there is no soap in the Men's room. Often, there are machines that are not operational that go unchecked for long periods of time. Some of the staff are friendly but some need more supervision. They should have staff that only clean & maintain the gym.

So very disappointed with my experience here. I’m a very anxious person who decided to join planet fitness because their whole mantra is ”the judgement free zone”.. well 34mins into my workout The manager came over to me and asked if I had any shoes.. I was wearing crocs. I explained that these are my only shoes and how I’ve been to coming to other locations for about a month now with no issues. He said his location has different policies. When I asked the front desk to show me these policies they couldn’t find them and said it would be a minute. While they looked I went and grabbed my belongings in the locker room and when I came back out they still did not provide there special policies. At this point I was very upset and just left. It took me a long time to feel confident enough to go into a gym. This really set me back.

P.S. The place was a mess.. mirrors were filthy, free weight just laying around and not to mention a man vacuuming with an electrical cord as a trip hazard.

Been going here for years without a problem intill tonight. I came in trying to login with my phone the scanner wasn't working so I asked the employee by the name of o'dean if he could sign me in like they usually do with my phone number - he refused and then got aggressive and said I couldn't go in. His co worker stepped in and signed me in without a problem . O'dean then went on to cancel my membership because he said i was being rude . Police were called and I got a cancelation email with my name signed in it but I never signed anything , will be taking it to corporate and if need further

I’ve been a PF black card member since Fall 2022. The newly renovated Ewing location is bright, spacious, clean, with a really nice locker room (new digit locks, clean changing rooms, nice showers), with perfectly functioning equipment and no broken machines. The hydro massage and regular massage chairs in the black card spa were great. Staff is super friendly and helpful! Can’t wait to come back to this location more regularly. So happy to see the gym post-renovation, they did a great job! 👏 highly recommend now.

How is this gym closed and we were never notified? However, they continue withdrawing the monthly fee. I was told that the gym would be closed from October 17 -22 I stopped by Monday October 24th and to my surprise the gym continues being closed. This is crazy, not only did we have to deal with the drilling and construction while we tried to exercise and now this? When will this construction end? The monthly fee should also be suspended until the gym re-opens.
