So I’ve been a member of planet fitness for quite some time and at other locations too. The Hackettstown PH facility is by far the friendliest, cleanest, and most well equipped that I have personally encountered.
I have to give a shout out to Heather and Crystal for their kindness and efficiency.

Every time I come in, I’m always greeted by Mitchell. Such a great team member! Always helpful, kind and respectful towards everyone who comes in! I appreciate the friendly staff at Planet Fitness in Mansfield Plaza, Hackettstown, but I have concerns about their cleaning practices. Instead of providing disposable paper towels, the gym gives out reusable rags for cleaning the machines. These rags are used by multiple members, which could potentially spread germs. Additionally, the cleaning solution provided seems very diluted and may not be effective for proper sanitation.

The staff at the hackettstown location honestly continue to go above and beyond with maintaining a wholesome and secure workout environment.

The equipment is astonishingly clean and always functional. Rarely has equipment been out of order longer than 24 hours.

Everyone including the members seem to have the same values and principles when it comes to keeping a safe and clean work out environment regardless of your goals or ambitions.

I have been to quite a few Planet Fitnesses and the customer service, cleanliness and friendliness at this location is second to none. Usually, I'll walk into another PF and you can tell that the employees hate their jobs. They just look miserable, but at the Hackettstown location, everyone is happy, friendly, BEYOND helpful and always genuinely excited to see you!! It's like being Norm and walking into Cheers. That has everything to do with management. Happy employees mean that they have a terrific leader. If you haven't been and you want to go, just do it, seriously, you won't be sorry. I used to love being here in Sabah, but now I love that there is a person at the counter who is sullen and doesn’t laugh. I get nervous all the time, and even deals with customers in a contemptible and provocative way. I don’t know why he is here. I've been coming to this Planet Fitness for a little over a year now. I went from a black membership to a very membership to just being a plain guests at times. left my rings in the 360 room during the summer (I understand this is totally my fault, I took them off to do pull ups and left them in there) and I called immediately to see if there were still there and they were already gone. I asked regularly at the front desk when I arrived to work out and they never turned up. The one kid working one day told me to stop asking about them because there was nothing they can do and that “it’s planet fitness, people steal here” basically saying to have no faith in the other gym members turning in sentimental rings because this is some kind of low class gym.

This is one of the cleanest and most up-to-date Planet Fitness gyms I’ve ever visited. The staff is incredibly friendly, kind, and welcoming. They’re always on top of maintaining the facility, consistently cleaning and organizing the space, seemingly every 30 minutes. Seven months ago I had a seizure while driving. Unfortunately I was badly injured and my license was suspended. During my recovery I needed to use a wheelchair. Genesis is such a charm to walk into every day at the gym. I see her smile from the parking lot and even on leg days I just feel like I can run through a brick wall. Easily the best employee there as she makes everyone feel at home and I truly mean that. Please don’t ever ever ever replace her!!
