One of the better PF. They had good machines and the Spa was ok it had more than 1 of the offerings and weights they have at least 2 of the newer machines I like that. They need to watch h people in the 30 min PF Fitness Circuit but it's clean enough. The air was a bit stuffy I can't lie maybe they have the heat on just watch out for that because it smells of BO.

I was verbally attacked racially by a gym member and threatened my life . I had to have the cops called over the incident. Neither the managers or corporate have contacted me about this issue and if that gym member is even allowed in that facility . How am I going to feel safe after that altercation there. It’s been over 5 days and haven’t heard from anyone about this matter. I wrote emails and left three voicemail messages, no one has reached out to me and it’s clear that the safety of gym members at this establishment is non existent .

It's a bit smaller than other Planet Fitness locations I've been to, but has a great atmosphere nonetheless. The employees at the desk are friendly and helpful, and there is always a lady going around cleaning the locker rooms and equipment. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars rather than 5 is because a decent amount (roughly 10% or so) of their treadmills are out of order or have broken/missing plastic pieces that need to be replaced. Other than that I have no complaints!

This Planet Fitness was okay 2 years ago but has gradually gotten worse and worse. There's never any paper towels to wipe down equipment, the spray bottles are always empty, the womens bathroom has smelled like sewage for over a year, the water filter stays red for days on end... I'm not expecting 5 star level service for $20 a month but jeez. Employees start yelling at you to leave from 9pm onward (sometimes reminding you if you walk in after 8) and even start blasting the lunk alarm for minutes on end if they're not on their lhones or talking to groups of friends. And it is always super humid, almost sauna levels of humidity to the point where I don't wanna breathe in here. The new equipment installed months ago has already started breaking. I signed up for Planet Fitness because it was 24 hrs or open late after COVID at least... the Edison location was open later than 10pm and before 6am. It's worth spending your money elsewhere at this point. This is by far the worst PF location I've been to compared to the 5 I frequent in NJ.

I’ve been going to this gym for six months, and the level of neglect is unbelievable. Basic essentials like paper towels are always missing, dispensers are broken, and nothing ever gets replenished. Out of the six or seven paper towel dispensers, only one is still functioning—and even that one is always empty in the evenings. It’s clear that maintenance and upkeep are simply not a priority. The franchise owner needs to step in and focus on basic operational standards instead of just worrying about the bottom line. This is unacceptable.

Every day there are less and less treadmills that work. **2025 UPDATE** This place is even stinkier than usual because since they lost power days ago, nobody, including the “manager”, knows how to turn a breaker on. The smell is unbearable in certain sections. The rest below is the same, 0 improvements made in the last 2 years. They used to be open 24hrs but now they close at 10pm on weekdays and 8pm on weekends, that’s too bad. Also there used to be tables up front to sit once in a while to make a phone call or waiting for a pickup ride, but now they got rid of them?! I can’t say I’m liking any of the changes that they’ve made here and I’m starting to look at other fitness centers. Only 2 broken ellipticals instead of the usual 4, well done PF!

The place is honestly not worth the money, pay a little bit more for a good gym. Most of the paper towel dispensers have been broken for months and every time I go a good amount of the disinfectanting spray bottles are empty. A lot of the machines are getting old. If you have a breathing problem because of a medical issue they'll use the lunk alarm and make you feel like shit for even trying to get in shape.

Only one person that works here cleans or refills paper towels and cleaner. The facility got new machines less than a year ago and they are already falling apart, the benches are missing the knobs to adjust the height, clips missing from the cable machines, tumble weeds of dirt, dust and hair blows across the floor. And a portajohn is cleaner than the locker rooms. Employees at the front desk just stand around on their phone doing nothing. I submitted a request on their online portal requesting a response 2 weeks ago and nothing. When Shelia is out absolutely nothing gets done. These photos are not just a bad day. I attempted to wipe down a machine but could not due to empty bottles that had been empty all week since Shelia has not been in to fill them. an absolute nightmare. I've been in person four times to try and cancel my membership, and they keep claiming they "don't know how to do it". I have been dealing with membership issues for the past several months with Planet Fitness where I was charged for late fees - even though it was information with my cards on file that switched over, but I was always willing to pay. Today - Luca - the manager at the Planet Fitness - Hillsborough location - really helped me and reimbursed for the late fees accumulated by the organization. He was the first employee with Planet to really take the time and go over everything effectively and appropriately after dealing with MULTIPLE employees at Planet Fitness across many different locations and ranks - who did not know how to address my account or the situations I was experiencing.
I am rating this a 4 star experience - since the organization deserves a 3 for how they handled everything - but Luca really went above and beyond to help me out and I would give him 5 stars (or more) if I could!
Anyway thanks for the help Luca, as well as your professionalism and knowledge, and for really taking the time to go over everything and handle information in my account correctly!

One of the worst Planet Fitness's I've been to. 90% of the ellipticals are bent. Half the paper towels holders don't work. The sanitizer spray is water, supposed to be colored, barely tinted. Showers had cold water at 7am. Too bad, close to my work but it's so frustrating, it's not worth it. Go to a different one!

I think the gym itself is good, but I love Planet fitness because if you become a gold member you can travel to any planet fitness you want. Some planet fitness facilities have personal trainers, they have massage chairs, and so many other things to offer.

This gym is just okay. They have pretty much every piece of equipment you could want. BUT the gym is always SUPER busy during evening hours, so much so that I often have to wait for equipment to become available. Half of the paper towel dispensers are always empty, leaving me to walk to the other side of the gym to get some to wipe off the machine. Also, the urinals in the men's bathroom don't flush and have an extremely strong, unpleasant urine odor. If it wasn't for the cheap price, I would go elsewhere.

Update: once it hits 9:30pm they use psychological warfare to get you to leave. Yelling, blasting the lunk alarm for a solid 30 seconds, turning the music on and off. I get it, I hated when people stayed passed closing when I worked in retail but you never know if there are people that have anxiety or PTSD or sensory issues, etc. so this is a really cruel tactic. And I've heard people say they're staying late just because of that so it doesn't seem effective.

It is what it is. It's a Planet Fitness. There's a decent selection of equipment including a ton of cardio machines and several smaller workout rooms. It does get extraaaa humid and musty in this particular PF (I used to frequent 2 others) so perhaps investing in some better ventilation or air filtration or something would be nice. Then again, it's $20 a month so it does the job for a non-Olympian like myself.

She accidently forgot her wallet today and they made her get off the circuit bike and leave! Had to leave work to pick her up! What is wrong with people?! I've been told it happens often . Trespass people for stealing time/ equipment use but do not kick everyone and anyone out/ off equitment! Find a way to verify or have people have a picture with their membership. Overall a clean and quiet gym. But I’ve asked several times since April of 2023 to have them replace the 12.5 weight (as there is only one) and they told me something about waiting for superglue to dry??? Which sounds unsafe. But regardless , there’s no matching weight still.
I also asked to have the foam rollers replaced since some look like they’ve been eaten by a dog. I also asked for one long foam roller. But nothing. And they’re cheap equipment so…

This is the most disgusting gym I've been too, let alone a planet fitness. It's never clean, which is odd because they aren't 24/7 anymore and that was supposed to be for cleaning. The men's bathroom smells like urine everytime; notably the urinals have caked yellow debris around the bowls. The showers are apparently not cleaned; I saw the same penny in one for a week, plus bars of soap, etc. The shower curtains are moldy. The floor/corner of the hand dryer is not cleaned and when it turns on the resulting mildew smell is awful.
The equipment has pieces missing, rips, lack of handles and grips for cables, and is generally worn. It's either this or hundreds a month for lifetime, but this gym really pushes me to shell out. Some of the staff are very nice though, so there's that. I still workout here so how bad can it be? Terrible.

Too crowded, can never do the 30 minute workout circuit because people park in the machines and look at their phones. I've asked what I should do when people park on machines in this circuit and won't get up. Additionally, people "save" treadmills by hanging shirts on them and putting water bottles in them and go off to other machines. I was next to a treadmill like this for an hour the other night. Again, no recourse if no treadmills are open. I was told "there's nothing you can do and there's nothing staff members can do." I'm old and I come after a 10 hour shift to work out. I'm tired and I dont want to argue with anyone much less multiple people who sit parked on equipment. I just want to do my workout and go home. I've told several front desk attendants I haven't ever been able to complete a full 30 minute circuit ever. This gym is great. The staff are very friendly, the gym is very clean. People actually clean the machines after use and rerack their weights. The only issue I have is closing at 10pm. I understand things change but I do miss my 2 am work outs.

Update 10/20/2022:
The "cookie cutter" response below: was expected. As I had requested previously, please don't make me speak to local management since that just doesn't work or get me anywhere. To put it very bluntly, all three of your very old hydromassage beds are in dire need of replacement. They are more down than they're up and running. This has been going on for months and yet the response I get here is "contact your local manager and make them aware". Let me ask you this, do you think they're not aware of it ? Of course they are. The point I'm trying to get across is that this is very old equipment which continuously fails and needs to be replaced. Somehow your responses go back in circles, with no timeline for repair. Not only me, but multiple Gym users have spoken to the front desk about these massage beds either leaking, software crashes etc. Basically they are not usable and can remain in that state for weeks or months before the owner eventually gets them fixed (since he claims to offer this service); I'm NOT slandering this business neither am I making up this stuff. The massage beds are genuinely broken most of the time and there is no willingness to fix them either. Yet they continue to charge users for the Black Card membership. WHY ? Isn't that dishonest business practice ?
I absolutely love the Gym however the owner's unwillingness to fix these 3 beds is what is upsetting a lot of members. He seems to be very thick skinned not to acknowledge it though. The beds need to be replaced with new ones. Period. Please don't give excuses and keep charging Black membership fees for God sake. It is unfair and dishonest business practice to keep charging for something and not providing that service most of the time.

I actually like this gym a lot but the two stars are for the HydroMassage beds perpetually being broken or out of service.
I signed on for black card membership only because of the HydroMassage beds.
Even the owner knows these beds are very dated but won’t replace them with newer ones. What’s the reason they’re always broken ? Sometimes they’re out for multiple weeks. So basically you want to charge us for black card perks but won’t provide them ? WHY ?

It is really very annoying. Yes I know it costs $ to keep fixing or replacing the beds but aren’t you charging us for this ? Then what part of the logic is difficult to understand that when you make customers sign up for something you should actually deliver it instead of cutting corners ? Basically there’s no will to fix these HydroMassage beds. Rather sad isn’t it ?

Again, I’m hoping for a very straightforward response. You can say that we’re saving $ and won’t fix them in a timely manner or replace them. Basically zero accountability. But you charge for these perks correct ? Then why not deliver ? I think this isn’t slander on my behalf but extremely disappointed due to your sheer unwillingness to fix them. What I’ve stated above are 100% facts.
Please deliver what you promised. No excuses please. These beds are always out of service.

my wife just had a bad experience in customer service from a black person who according to him was a manager, he had a very bad customer service, he did not treat her properly, he said that they never made mistakes and Also they weren't going to solve anything because it was a lie, due to a mistake made it by another customer service person there,. This "manager" treated her like a liar and he said he wasn’t going to look at the cameras either because it was a very long job, I'm going to go tomorrow 9 /27 with her and I hope that everything can be solved.

At first, I was like eh it does the work so I signed up and after going in for few days, I realized that they just don’t have that many variety of machines. Don’t be fooled by the fullness of it! But as a starter gym, it may be okay. It just ain’t for me

Covid is normal but gym hours are only till 10pm.. why not back to 24hr or 1 or 2pm. Even Wendy's is open longer...

Honestly, upon signing up I thought this would just be a place I worked out at temporarily to save money with their low cost membership rates. But I’ve come to genuinely love this gym and have no desire to look elsewhere. The employees are all really nice and easy going. It’s clean and has all the equipment I need. The gym members are also nice and keep to themselves. I avoid working out during Normal gym “busy hours” from 5-7pm just because I don’t like crowdedness which you’ll get anywhere during that time. For the price you pay, what more can you ask for? A great gym.

I have been coming here for the past 5 years. Recently its getting very filled up and causing higher waiting times for the equipments. This planet-fitness needs to extend their hours to pre-covid levels like opening 24 hrs or opening till 12am at-least. That would allow many people like me to have flexibility with the workout timings. Also I have noticed multiple machines need service or have been out of order for months. That is adding on to the waiting times for the equipment. This pf has been satisfactory before covid however now it doesn't seem to be the same.
