The amenities are upgraded better than a lot other planet fitnesses, but the staff a older woman and a man I encountered today had sarcastic and judgeful remarks when I clearly have a black card membership to use the amenities if I came just for the gym I WOULDN'T have one, yet I gotten comments that were unnecessary like how I’m “hogging the amenities” from the woman because one man out was waiting for red light when I booked 2 slots ahead of time when there was absolutely no wait for any of them and so I wouldn’t have to exit it yet I even had to call the gym to start it again and waited extra unnecessary time even when this planet fitnesses barely gets traffic through anyways.

I just moved to this town recently, I loved the PF in my old town, they were amazing. This location leaves something to be desired. I stopped trying to say hi how are you and bye, thank you to employees upon entering and exiting. They’ll just stare at you blankly. So weird to walk in and out of a place of business with no acknowledgements at all, I’m not used to that. One time I was waiting in line for help at the front desk, there was someone in front of me. While I was looking around the gym waiting my turn, another employee appeared from the back. And instead of saying hi I can help you or “next”! He was just staring at me. And started laughing when I noticed him. The gym itself is ok I guess, but it’s kinda far from my house and I don’t really feel like anything about it is worth the drive. Can’t imagine the local Retro will be much better but at least it will be closer!

Crowded! Hours need to be expanded. Pandemic is over. What ever happened to the 24 hour access? 3 of 4 rowers have been broken for months on end. The front desk people are often not at the front desk. Where’s the owner/management! Raking in the money but refuse to spend it to properly maintain or staff the facility. update - now 0 stars! 9/23/25 I wait around to use the 1 working “whole body fitness” room in the back - with the lights and vibration plate. The vibration plate is not working. I mention it to the front desk who instructs me to go back and try it again. I do. And I come out to let him know it’s still not working. His response ?! Gym manager harassed me and made physical threats (to take my phone) through intimidation & physically remove me because I took his picture, which is legal in NJ. He said good luck wasting your time with corporate, they dont give a F-word. The issue happened at Robbinsville NJ location. He should be severely reprimanded or fired. I've been a member since October last year, but three months ago, I started being charged a late fee in addition to my regular monthly fee. When I spoke to Manager Ben, I was told that my credit card was being used as a backup payment method because my bank account information was not set up correctly at sign-up. However, I had no idea I was being charged a late fee until I stopped going to the gym for a while and in the app there was a pop-up about late fees when I resumed recently. If you are a member and not active, you maybe getting charged without knowing what’s going. What's more frustrating is, there was no communication from the club about the issue with my bank account or the additional $15 late fee on top of monthly fee. Manager Ben failed to adequately explain why these late fees only started recently. Overall, the customer service was terrible, and it's clear that you get what you pay for.

1. overbearing , passive aggressive staff. why am I scanning in with my black membership and then signing in again with paper and pen ( i am told it was to "know where everyone is coming from). also staff needs to let people workout without being interrupted and harassed. they seem quite passive aggressive. 2 overcrowded regardless of time of day, overrun by teenagers. 3. not enough assessories. 4. dumbbells are scattered across the gym with people taking dumbbells all the way across the gym but never bringing back or monopolizing for hours. overall, poor experience.

I’ve been a member of Lifetime for the past 5 years and recently canceled with them due to their lack of upkeep. I live in the area and came across this planet fitness and I’m very impressed. The gym is always clean and that was a top priority for me. The staff is always happy to be there, the machines are well maintained and I appreciate how they have two of every kind of machine. The manager, Nicholas is a very nice young man and you can see he is committed to making sure things flow easy for the clients and I always see him helping with the upkeep of the facility including outdoors. Women’s locker rooms are also very nice and always clean. Overall, very happy with my experience here. Will recommend to others.

I go to Planet Fitnesses all over NJ. This is the best location I have been to. Jamiah at the front desk was friendly, professional, and personable, and is the perfect example of employees who encourage membership and repeat visits. They have their own bigger water bottles for the same $1 as the smaller Aquafinas at other locations. And this location has something new called Relax Space. I legit felt 100x better after leaving, not just because of the amenities, but because of the customer service. This location and its employees set the standard. I can't wait to go back! 🏃‍♀️

I have enjoyed the Planet Fitness in Robbinsville Nj very much. I recently joined with a black card membership which is so worth it. Just the extras you get with the black card membership is beyond the bang for your buck… the red light therapy room, the aqua massage chairs (amazing), the tanning and hybrid tanning is nice addition as well as the other massage chairs and the best bonus is that I can invite a workout buddy… all for $25 and change. The facility is spacious and clean with so much equipment and multiple spaces designed for specific the things you are doing in your workout plan…. No plan no worries, just download the Free Planet Fitness app and there you have it… workouts, equipment guidance, track progress.Also you can see how crowded the gym is before you go and so much more. In my opinion it’s a really great place to invest in creating a better you.

New General manager is harassing clients while they are working out. Would not show his name tag or proper identification. While I was working out he approached me acting very hostile regarding a hoodie that was hanging on the equipment. I took the hoodie down as asked, and he kept badgering me and harassing me. Hey Planet Fitness Robbinsville!

Why are the members being kicked out of the gym 10 mins before closing?

It happened today when the staff turned the siren 5 times in from 6:51pm to 6:56pm, walked around and literally yelled at people to leave the gym.

So many people frsutrated came out of the gym and were talking that this is not the way. First of all as per the contract, members are allowed to workout until the official time of 7pm over weekends, second, its not right to yell at members and ask them to leave.

We had some excellent staff like Kathy, Anthony and others who always respected members and kept a fun environment in the gym. Current state is sad. Please do something about it.

We used to go to another gym in the East Windsor area and decided to give this new gym in Robbinsville for the first time. Both I and my son were very impressed with the layout, structure and new equipments, but the main thing that stands out is the staff, especially Devin, who not only helped us setting up in the new gym but also made it feel like home. Now I and 4 of my friends have already moved to Robbinsville PF and Devin has been a great help.

Devin is one of the pros who knows how to manage the gym well and also keep the members really going with their experience. Love this place!!

This was a 5 star till today. Reason for change.
1.inadequate weekend hours
2. Locker room security, there should be an option to use your own lock. The convenience of the four digit lock system is nice but not sufficient to stop people up to no good. As for people leaving there locks overnight, simple post a sign that all locks left after closing will be cut off and the contents will be put in a crate with the locker number on it for 72 hours and then discarded, if not claimed.
3. Equipment not fully working. Example the treadmill I am on right now has no functioning tv and it’s been that way since before Thanksgiving 2024

If I can give zero stars I would. This place is filthy. The locker rooms are so dirty it’s disgusting. This planet fitness is the dirtiest I’ve been in EVER. Management does zero, the workers are all pilled up by the front desk. The mirrors haven’t been wiped down in months. Lockers are door less, machines are ripped and there is no ventilation as if they turn off the fans. Such a great location hopefully they can get another gym at this location because this isn’t good at all.

Planet Fitness has thought about everything in advance! I love the fact that they section off workout areas. The machines and activities are no-brainers in each room leading you to know just what to do. I really like the green light that tells you when to begin reps and the red one that alerts you to rest and move onto the next machine. The facility is so clean and the keyless lockers are a real plus! I love going into the hydra massage chair after my workout to soothe muscles and wind down. I’m really enjoying my experience after just joining a month ago!

The staff is so friendly and helpful and all the equipment is very clean and well maintained, but this gym has become a hangout spot for highschoolers. I mean they literally don’t even work out, they just stand around machines and take up space without doing a single exercise. Obviously it’s not all of them, but there’s a massive group that comes after 3pm and just takes up equipment, chit chats and herds around equipment, and is not respectful of the peoples space around them. If you can get past this then its a great gym but seriously has been putting a damper on my experience. Im not even sure how management would address this problem but definitely consider this when getting a membership.

The reason why we joined this Gym which is 15 minutes away from home is because of how friendly and helpful Charles from the reception is. We came once and he was super helpful and the second time after trying really hard to join another 2 gyms near home. After joining, the place is really clean and the machines are really durable. This Planet Fitness has become way too crowded. Don't go by the crowd meter on the app and Google Maps. The crowd meter falsely shows less people than there actually is inside. There are days when a quick 30 min workout turns into an hour-long session because all the machines are taken. Planet Fitness needs to start controlling the number of members that each gym is allowed to have. Additionally, machines can stay "broken" for 4 or 5 weeks before they are fixed.

Very Bad Customer Service. As a new member went to the Robbinsville Location on 02/20/2024 around 3:15 pm for the very first time after signing up online. During signup by mistake had selected a location all the way in GA as home club. When my husband went to Robbinsville location about 2 weeks ago the person at the front desk helped him right away to change his home club location as we could not do it from the app. He mentioned that I have to go in person and they will be able to help me for the same issue. but when I went there yesterday (02/20/2024 around 3:15) the person at the front desk was very rude and not customer friendly at all. He asked me to call that location and ask them to change my home club since it was out of state and he can't call. So I all GA location and the person said he can do it but it will take 5-7 business days to update my club. I went back to the person and said that if he could help me so I don't have to wait for a week he bluntly said "well I don't know how to do it. and that you have to wait until it gets updated". Next thing I asked was if I can get the schedule for the classes and he bluntly said "we don't have any schedule" on top of this the person did not even have courtesy to stand in front of you and talk face to face with eye contact. He constantly kept moving around doing random stuff and paying no attention to what I needed help with or show any interest in helping. I literally got so pissed off and I walked out of the place. This is not the type of customer service any one expects no matter if it's a new customer or a regular customer. PF claims it to be a Judgement Free Zone but when you can not even make a new customer feel comfortable or welcomed its really offsetting.

Visited this location recently and was greeted by a very nice girl at the front desk named Sarah. She was extremely kind and showed me around the gym taking time and care to make sure I felt comfortable. She made sure I knew where all the equipment that I planned on using was located. Also showed me the lay out of the gym, which organized and very clean. Also the bathrooms are very well kept. This location is a bit farther from the usual one I go to. But I’m gonna make this my new gym. I’m glad this PF location was recommended to me.
