First off I want to say I was a member of Planet Fitness in Phoenix AZ and loved it there but moving to NJ I never thought I would be treated the way I was at the same company.
I am a senior citizen and used my Braven Health card to go there. I would only have enough money on my card to go for 10 months which was fine as I would not go in the 2 coldest months. When I joined I was told that I had to come in each month at the first week to pay otherwise I would be automatically cancelled. With my health I did not know if I would be able to do that and the man said I had to come in. Let me back track I had to make 2 visits because the first time no one behind the counter that could help me ! So after I went in Feb, March & April and paid on time. Then in May I went in to give them my card, but the person behind the counter was the janitor and could not help me as the person that should have been there called out sick. I could not get back in as I got sick ( I have lupus and long haul covid). I assumed I was cancelled. Then I then saw money taken out of my Braven card when I went to use it for something else. I called Braven and they told me to call the location.
I called and got the female manager who was very nasty. Her attitude was horrible. Not only loud, aggressive but speaks down to you. She told me that it was not true that they take money out if I do not come in and it was on the paper I signed. I explained that I did not read the paper as the man who signed me up explained that I must come in with my Braven Health card. She basically was calling me a liar! I called Braven back and was told that they were still trying to take money out. She even SCREAMED at me saying that I would have had to pay for Nov & Dec anyway so look at it that way. I told her I would have cancelled the membership when the money was up in Nov and I would not be paying from my own money as I am a senior citizen on low income. They took out in May 18th $31.72 and June 18th $31.72 and they took out $52.25 on March 2nd which I was not told about. Braven had to cancel my card which still has $20 plus $8.88 for food and $125 for another department which I can not use now because I have to wait for another card. Again I used to love Planet Fittness when I was in AZ and would go a lot; however, with my health I was hoping to go to use the red light therapy! Hopefully, I get a new card and can use the money to buy food etc before the new year comes as it does not go over to the next year!

Come and join up with Planet Fitness, I joined many years ago. You will find it to be welcoming, friendly and very clean. Theresa is the Manager here at Fischer Blvd, she is the best! Always a smile, and all the staff really are there to help you find your best workout. You can't beat the price, and it truly is non judge Zone, all ages attend; and I found everyone to be courteous and respectful to each other. You deserve a place like this to become the best version of yourself.

Pretty average planet fitness, a little dark inside and feels older.
Could really benefit from adding a clock somewhere in the gym for those doing timed exercises. Also needs a deep cleaning, thick layers of dust under the equipment and bathrooms have mold for over a month now.

I love my Planet Fitness on Fischer Blvd in Toms River. It is a very safe and welcoming environment. Perfect equipment for all levels. The place is very clean and well set up. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The manager Theresa knows her members needs and is always available for support. Great gym for all levels of fitness!

Large new gym. The equipment is brand new so no problems of something being broken. Even though it can be quite busy there is so much equipment to use it's never been a problem. 5 hydro massage chairs are the best post work out . 4 tanning booths. Overall a great gym for the price!!! Highly recommend

This was my favorite planet fitness by far. I stayed in Lavalette for the week and was happy there was this gym nearby. The staff was friendly and it wasn't too busy. The equipment I needed was always available. The facility was kept neat and clean.

The vibe is very chill. When I entered, I was greeted warmly by the front office staff. The machines were clean and arranged in a way to optimize the space. It's planet fitness, has enough to get a solid workout in. Don't try to film to check your form though. The desk workers will walk up, look you dead in the eye, and lie about their policy to you. They'll tell filming is prohibited and that it says that on the PF website. It doesn't say that though, and they'll double down and move to "Well the supervisor doesn't allow it". God forbid your trying to show someone new to the gym the mistakes their making.

This is the largest gym I've been to.As you walk in, it has an open layout for the different elipticles, and then different rooms on the side.but I didn't sign up because they charge you for 24.99 a month along with 49.00 a year with all the people that were in that gym I rather buy a bike myself and peacefully exorcize in my own home. I feel like it's more peaceful and quiet.

The manager Teresa will have her employees tell you on the phone that she is not there to help deal with any concerns you have and to call back, when she in fact is standing right next to them at the counter. There has been instances at the gym late at night where peoples’ safety was a concern, including her own employees’ safety, and she could not be bothered doing anything about it. They also tried to bill me unauthorized after I had a cancellation form clearly spelling out that there will be no future charges. Never doing busy with a place like this.

Best Gym in the world. Staff is warm, welcoming and accommodating. It's open all hours. Equipment is well maintained and updated every few years. Place is well kept and always clean. Their app is pretty cool and lets you see how busy it is in there at any given time.... But most of all I just feel comfortable gou g there to work out. It is, a they say, A judgment free zone. Used to go to Retro and LA , this planet fitness at Fischer Blvd is perfect. Few months back they changed all machines and dumbbells to brand new state of the art equipment and the equipment was good before the upgrade so this gym truly continues to impress. My teenage niece has a membership here and when she got in she went there in the first few days. All of the sudden one day the front desk lady told her when she came in that her membership wasn’t at that gym and that she needed to leave. (And by the way the membership she had was at that gym because it was the only one she’s been going to). She told me the person who kicked her out didn’t even cooperate with her when my niece was trying to explain things and the lady was straight up rude. It felt like she was being kicked out.
