Looks amazing on the outside until you go in.

Older and mostly broken equipment that hasn’t been fixed since March 2023. 18 machines an employee counted that were damaged / broken and NOT 1 of them have been fully repaired. The “mechanic” for this facility should be sent back to the check in counter and never allowed to touch a piece of equipment without training or proper tools. He is destroying the equipment instead of fixing it.

Overcrowded bathrooms / locker rooms with homeless people washing clothes and shaving in the sinks. PF only offers three full 24 hour days (Tues,Wed,Thurs) paper towels dispensers are always empty while the employees are gathered talking at the counter.

The VINELAND staff are awesome but the owner/manager are MIA. The selling point of the more expensive Black Card are the massage chairs and hydro beds which have been broke since the beginning of August.

The gym has everything you would need, when everything is working properly.

The massage beds are rarely all operational. I once reported that a locker was malfunctioning, the code used to lock it wasn’t the same to unlock it (off by one number). It wasn’t a huge issue, but it should have been fixed or marked out of service. When I told the front desk, I received an “okay” with no note taken of the locker number, and the next time I visited, the locker was still broken and not marked out of service.

My biggest issue happened today. I typically work out in the morning before heading to work and shower at the gym. This morning, there was zero water pressure in the showers. Once the initial water drained, nothing else came out. I understand that maintenance issues can happen unexpectedly, but communication from staff would have made a big difference.

A staff member came into the locker room, confirmed the showers weren’t working, and then walked back out without saying anything to me or anyone else. Ten minutes later, there was still no update and no sign posted to inform other members. When I looked toward the front desk, two staff members were just standing there still no notice about the showers being down.

I understand that some problems are out of staff control, but communication with members should always be a priority. Even a simple acknowledgment or sign would go a long way. This location would greatly benefit from retraining staff on guest communication and customer service basics, acknowledging concerns and keeping members informed makes all the difference.

This is my favorite place to work out at! I have the Summer Pass and it’s truly a joy getting fit here. Although I probably shouldn’t have worn crocs in one of these. 😬 Sorry, PF! Anywho, there isn’t much machines — but if you’re looking for some cardio and weightlifting, it’s actually two floors and better than the other Planet Fitness a couple of miles away. You still have multiple stations, but just like any other Planet Fitness, the gym is mainly treadmills. Regardless, this is the best (and staple choice) if you’re looking for an every day workout place!

Policy is a "judgment free zone," and it really is. Lots of equipment, with use instructions right on the equipment. Helpful staff. Almost always open, except for overnight on weekends.
If you need a place like this, this is it. Great pricing, too.

Planet Fitness in Vineland is one of the cleanest and most well-maintained gyms I’ve been to. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with anything you need. I thoroughly enjoy having a membership at Planet Fitness in Vineland. I feel like any "issue" that I have with the gym is just a normal part of any gym - crowding during certain peak hours, not able to get on certain machines at the right times. I feel like the staff is always very kind and helpful - you always see them moving around and out taking care of the facility. They are always interacting with members. Overall I have no complaints & enjoy being a member here.

Please post on website..it's ironic. We members need website to enter. And it's not updated..there is only one benefit to planet fitness. That's hours. Now no benefit!! Wasn't sure what to think about joining Planet Fitness after my mom and pop gym closed. It was a bummer and I will miss that gang a lot. This gym has been decent considering it's a huge gym with lots of machines and a big crowd. That's why I prefer the night time hours to work out. With that, I really appreciate the work the night crew does here. Everything is pretty clean and available. If you need help with anything they are glad to help. Every employee there has been great! I have to give it 4 stars due to the lack of certain machines and weights, which is no fault of the employees. Just wish they had more machines for arms. They literally have about 300 treadmills though. Which is good because there's always one available, just wish they could replace some of those with other things. More free weights and cables and stuff. I guess it's impossible to get everything you want lol. Good gym though!

The best planet fitness I've been to. Got a good blast of leg presses with 608lbs to the nodding approval of employees, who were not quaking with fear that I might break a sweat or bring the platform to rest with audible decibel. I am not pressured to neuter or malign my workout due to the very ironic "no judgement" mentality. Free weight situation still not great. Only benching in a smith machine is a sad situation. However, other than that, it's great.

it's a good gym and all but there's literally countless random cardio machines that nobody ever uses and only 6 smith machines that everyone is always using and its impossible to ever get one unless you sit there for 30 minutes waiting and even then someone might run in a take it. This gym claims to be one of the biggest gyms, but they only have 5 Smith Machines for squatting, benching, etc.. I strongly recommend that they should remove some of the many treadmills that go unused upstairs to add more equipment that members come to use. I stand around waiting 25+ minutes to use a machine at times. It’s frustrating when you have people using this equipment with 4 of their buddies and they’re all just kind of sitting around “resting”.
