Planet Fitness is great if you’re looking for a clean, affordable gym with plenty of equipment. The staff usually keep things organized, and it’s never hard to find a machine unless it’s peak hours. It’s not a hardcore lifting gym, but it’s perfect for consistency, cardio, and casual strength training. The 24-hour access and cheap membership are huge wins. Only downside — the dumbbells top out early, and it can get crowded after work hours.

Every time I come into this Planet Fitness, it’s spotless, welcoming, and has a really positive atmosphere. The staff are super friendly, especially Kaitlyn!! Planet Fitness is a very clean, comfortable gym with has convenient circuit area and lots of exercise apparatus. Super helpful front desk support from Eileen and Vesti makes it more outstanding ! ive been coming here for almost a year now and I just wanted to shoutout two workers, i really hope PF corporate knows what they have n appreciate them n like idk give them a raise or something lol. First Katelyn is amazing, she has amazing customer service, she’s always very helpful and helped me multiple times when I have problems instantly n in a nice way

answers all my questions in such a nice way like, convinced me to get black card when i never thought i would, just very nice amd is great at her job truly

Very clean and operational establishment, with a couple slight improvements needed. All equipment here is fully functional at the time of this writing. Also, the 30 minute circuit area still exists in this location, with no signage citing a future equipment replacement, should that fit your interest.

While they were prompt in addressing the toilet paper drought I brought to their attention in the men’s locker room, they should have been more proactive with this instead of hanging out and texting at the front desk.

Additionally, the black card area doesn’t have a door. It’s difficult to relax when hearing weights and other typical gym background noises. The franchise should definitely invest in remediating this, especially since this is not an issue at their other locations within this franchise.

Got screamed at by a fellow planet fitness member for being on my phone while on I’m a machine. A planet fitness manager came up to me and told me the member was wrong but also told me I “could’ve handled it better” by going to the lounge to use my phone? I don’t feel safe here so I switched my location because the manager on staff (his name is Nico by the way) made it seem like I was also at fault when the blame should’ve been solely on the 40 to 50 something year old man screaming at a 20-something year old female. This is why women don’t feel safe in these spaces. He got in my face and threatened to hurt me.

Hamburg Turnpike PF in Wayne is by far the best Planet Fitness. It has multiple machines and benches to lift weights on where others dont even have a smith machine. This is a 5 out of 5. If you're in North NJ this is the spot to go.

We are from upstate NY, upon arrival of Wayne, NJ planet fitness we were greeted by Natalie. She greeted us with a warm friendly smile.

The facility here is very well organized, clean, and accessible. Love the full doors in the restrooms and the whole locker room setup.
This PF is the best one I've been to this far. Will definitely be back. Maybe management should come to Upstate NY to help improve our PF.

I been to many planet fitnesses in both Bergen and Passaic county and Wayne is by far the cleanest and biggest brightest of them all. Manager is always on point. Unfortunately when going to Pompton and Fairfield the gyms aren’t the cleanest. They need to also have brighter lights in Pompton lakes.

Checked out a few locations before I decided to join the PF in Wayne. The reason I selected this one is because of Nico. He gave the tour of the gym and was very into making sure I had all the information. As we walked around if he saw a piece of paper on the ground he picked it up and threw in the trash without any hesitation. He conversed with a number of members as the tour progressed These things convinced me of how committed he was to the gym. Since joining I have found that the entire staff is very friendly and attentive. I know I made the right decision joining PF Wayne.

Went to Planet Fitness in Pompton Lakes after considering rejoining after many years and moving away. I spoke with Jarod who spoke to allowed to tour the renovated facility.
I was impressed how clean it was and the easy availability of equipment early in the morning.
I returned a few days later to join and Jarod was there again to sign me up and give me a tour of the massage systems and tanning booths. I explained I didn’t know anything about the equipment in this area and he was very helpful explaining things.
My favorite part was even if I may have asked the same question twice (yes I’m older) he did not come across as aggravated or bothered. He gave me all the time and attention I needed .
He made me feel very comfortable with my choice to sign up.
Great customer service is very hard to find but they found it here with Jarod. Thank you Jarod!!!!

Mornings and most afternoons are less crowded, Gym is clean, Staff is pleasant, equipment is plentiful. My only complaint is their is a room specifically for an express workout it has a traffic light that changes so you move on to the next station, some people spend 10 minutes or more looking at their phone so you can't use that station which interrupts the flow or people use the machines at random this should be addressed by the staff or I would of given it 5 stars.

It’s so clean in here. The prices are unbeatable. I’m still upset after being a member for years the tanning beds aren’t 15 mins like other pf locations/tanning salons. They have No aroma. They have No mist. Them not allowing the full 15 mins is the most frustrating part they only give 12 minutes I wish the owner would see this and change it…. Top of the line beds tho ! Love my ergolines
