I normally don’t leave reviews, but I had such a disappointing experience with the assistant manager, Grace. She was extremely rude and unprofessional in how she spoke to me. Her attitude made the entire interaction unpleasant and honestly reflects poorly on the gym’s management I am signing up else where. Customer service should be respectful and helpful unfortunately, that was not the case here

I have been searching for a true fitness home, and I finally found it at Powerhouse Gym in Saddle Brook. This isn't just another big-box gym—it's a high-energy, motivating community that caters to everyone from beginners to serious athletes. Easily the best gym experience in the area!
The Vibe is Electric (But Welcoming):
What immediately struck me was the fantastic atmosphere. It has that classic, gritty "Powerhouse" feel that makes you want to push harder, but without any of the intimidation. Everyone is focused but friendly, and the staff greets you by name. It genuinely feels like a supportive community focused on progress.
Unbeatable Equipment & Space:
The equipment selection is second to none. They have an incredible variety of brand-new selectorized machines, a huge free weight area that is never overcrowded, and multiple racks for serious lifting. The dedicated functional training space and turf area are perfect for warm-ups or specialized workouts. Everything is clean and well-maintained—you never have to hunt for a working cable or a missing pin.
Spotless Facilities & Great Extras:
The locker rooms are immaculate, and the entire facility is spotless, which is a huge plus. I also love the amenities, like the dedicated recovery zone.

Not worth the money. The gym is just another LA Fitness now. Weights are all over the place, machines will be broke for weeks, they have a sauna the doesn’t work and they had to add another sauna that’s very small. People that workout overnight just don’t care and if you workout in the morning the gym is a mess. For 80 dollars a month and the same quality of gym that you can get anywhere it isn’t worth it. And although I haven’t been there since January… I continue to hear bad things about this gym. I’d be happy to attach pictures during all gym hours to see the expectations.

Good luck getting a decent workout, this gym is packed even at 10:30 pm, I joined this gym because I thought it would be calm and less packed during this time of night, yet it’s a zoo all hours or the day. The owners just keep signing up new members and don’t care about over population and quality of their members because they are greedy. Impossible to keep a pump, you literally wait in line for a machine at 10:30 pm. Almost nobody re racks their weights even tho there are posted signs. The sauna is mediocre and looks like a barrel or beer.
