i have been with Jose for about 9 months now, he has help me lose over 100lbs with diet and exercise. i love that he holds you accountable which is something i needed in my weight loss journey. His gym and bathroom are spotless and he is always wiping down equipment. Jose is always adding new equipment and changing up the work outs to build muscle and confidence. i look forward to my work outs as i get stronger. He has help me with different types of supplements to advance me in my workouts. He's very easy to talk to and fun to be around. i highly recommend PRIME FITNESS

I hurt myself in the gym a number of years ago but wanted to get back into it. I searched for a trainer for about 2 months, checking out all the local gyms in my area. I found the chain gyms were formulaic and only focused on general hands-off guidance at a premium price. I was looking for very specific training focusing on teaching me how not to hurt myself again. José at Prime Fitness met and exceeded my expectations. He provided one on one guidance, handholding and encouragement. I can still hear him yelling "YES" when I did something correctly! He gave me an excellent launch pad and then went above and beyond! How do you put a price on health? My investment with José was well worth the cost! I will gladly refer him to anyone asking. I have been with Prime Fitness for over 5 years. Jose is amazing at tailoring programs to help achieve your goals and adjusting programs as your goals change. Early on I was solely focused on getting stronger, which Jose helped me achieve. Then as my career progressed and I had to spend more time sitting at my desk, Jose adjusted the program to contend with my less mobile lifestyle. Most recently Jose developed a program to get me ready for my wedding. I could not recommend Prime Fitness and Jose enough!

Jose has been a literal life saver. Before I went to him my blood pressure was sky high. My weight was out of control and I was on the verge of diabetes. With his help I now can live life and enjoy being out. I’ve been less depressed and my physical health has taken a major 180. Jose is the only trainer I trust. He helped my mom completely change her lifestyle years ago, so I knew he was the person to go to when I decided to start my fitness journey. My goal was to build muscle, and Jose catered his workout plans to help me achieve the toned, fit physique I desired. My body experienced recomposition, as I lost fat and gained muscle. I got stronger every session, seeing muscle definition. Not only did he support me physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. Strength training is a hard mental battle, but rewarding. Jose kept me motivated and self-disciplined, reminding me that results require patience and effort, especially on days when I was tired and felt like giving up. I admire his knowledge and passion for fitness, and he has taught me so much about nutrition and working out. While I only worked with him for 5 months, he continuously checks in with me to track my progress even though I no longer go to Prime. I miss training in the gym and Jose’s positive, inspiring energy. He enjoys seeing you succeed and only wants the best for you!

I heard about Prime Performance Fitness and Jose through a friend of a friend. Personally, I need someone to push me otherwise I will not get off the couch. I knew Jose was pretty good because the place was completely booked when i called for an assessment. I must say after beginning my program I am Impressed. I have used a couple of trainers over the years and I can say unequivocally that Jose is by far the best..major league..Prime Time .. I am so happy and appreciative with everything Jose has done for me and continues to do. Seldom do I recommend businesses to other people but I strongly advise anyone looking for a personal trainer to give Jose and Prime Performance Fitness a call.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve struggled with my weight. Inconsistencies, lack of accountability and frustration surrounded my fitness and eating habits and I wanted to wipe all that clean! November 2019 was when I finally felt ready to seek a professional to guide me on my health and fitness journey. I found Prime Performance Fitness Studio online and decided to request a free consultation. Jose Ramos, who is both the owner and my personal trainer, reached out to me immediately. Bonus points for being flexible and working around my crazy schedule. I remember on the day of my consultation, I sat in the parking lot and thought “this is going to be so much work, you still have time to turn around”... Yes, I was that nervous! Not turning around that day was the best decision I’ve made for myself and my health. Jose is AMAZING! He made me feel completely at ease. Walking into his gym, which is beautiful and clean, I felt I was on equal terms, yet still had a lot of work to do myself. He is incredibly easy to talk to, relatable, understanding and most importantly, makes working out FUN! Jose loves to share pointers and display all the knowledge he has for his passion- fitness. He is always making sure I feel confident in the techniques he is showing me. Fast forward 3 months and I was already down 30lbs, lost over 20 inches off my entire body and felt stronger than ever! This was hugely in part of HIM!! His specialized exercise plan, motivation, patience, knowledge on nutrition and (most importantly) his energy everytime I wanted to give up is exactly what I needed to push through! Since I started working with Jose about 6 months ago, he has totally reshaped my body. Yes, I’m bigger and I’m stronger, but I’m also faster with more stamina and a greater range of motion than ever before. As a trainer, Jose is your biggest champion. He listens to you and has no problem making adjustments so you can safely and successfully get the most out of each exercise. He knows the work is hard because he’s done it, but he challenges you to push yourself to your limits and then to push past them. I have been going to Prime performance for a few months now. It’s honestly the best thing I ever did. I am stronger now at 40 than ever before. I have so much energy now. I honestly look forward to going and working out. Jose is a great trainer, great sense of humor, but at the same time he is firm and will hold you accountable which is something I needed. And that firmness and discipline is what drives results. I honestly am the healthiest I have ever been. I have been working with Jose, in an one on one setting, for over a year now. After coming back from a debilitating back injury, it was my goal to regain my strength and skill lifting weights. What I got in return was way more, I have not only surpassed my goals but gone above and beyond. I am now skilled in using kettle bells (the proper way) and in using the barbell.
Together, we took precautions when I was fresh from rehabilitation. As time went on, Jose tailored my programming to my needs and my goals and I have not had any reoccurring back injuries- my back feels amazing!

I feel both motivated and proud of what I have achieved in this past year and I cant give enough of my gratitude to Jose for being the skilled professional I needed but also a friend to lean on and push me. I cant recommend his services enough, especially his one on one sessions.

I have been at Prime Performance for about 6 months now and I only wish I found this place sooner. Jose Ramos, owner and trainer, is extremely knowledgeable and really knows how to motivate you. His experience and emphasis on learning proper form has helped me to become stronger and push my body and mind to its limit. The workouts are never boring and the environment just makes it a great place to be in. From Olympic lifts to core and cardio work, Prime Performance has been a great experience for me and I would recommend it to anyone.

I have been working out at Prime Performance for over a year now and I must say it has been truly a wonderful experience. I am 46 years old and have had five knee surgeries throughout my life, from torn ligaments to meniscus tears I thought I would never squat again. That is until I walked in through the door of Prime Performance and met trainer and owner Jose Ramos, He developed a program for me that helped rebuild the strength in my legs, Well a few weeks ago I was able to squat 255 pounds I never imagine being able to do that much wait after so many years of suffering from Knee pains and weakness. Prime Performance is a great place to go and not only get a great workout but you meet some great people who foster an environment of motivation and accomplishment. The credit goes to Jose Ramos who has created an intimate environment so he can personally work with you one on one. Even in his group classes he is able to spend time with you and help you on technique and give you that extra so you can complete the daily workout. Whether it is a group class or an individual class Jose Ramos dedicates him to get the best out of you. From Kettle bell training to Boot camps and strength and conditioning classes the Variety he offers will help you reach whatever goal you set for yourself. If you are tired of the franchise , gimmicky, gyms and truly want a place to reach some goals and make some new friends, I suggest you stop by Prime Performance, and give Jose Ramos your time and effort and he will give you results.

love love love Prime!! I never thought I could have fun while getting my butt kicked in bootcamp, but this place manages to find that balance. Jose is great at pushing you to do your best, but also recognizing your areas of weakness and customizing the workout according to those weaknesses. I couldn't do one proper push up when I started. Two months later, I can do ten in a row. I recommend Prime to everyone I know!

BY FAR the best fitness program in North Jersey!!!!! Jose's knowledge of muscle development and working around pre-existing conditions is amazing.. I have been able to transform my body here in a very short time and in only 3 days a week. I have been working out with Prime Performances small personal training class now with Jose for almost two months now. I personally have been working out for many years and the one thing I have to regret is that I wish I took this class 10 years ago. I have played high school baseball and played Division 1 baseball in college and I wish I had this new found knowledge from Jose’s program back then. He changes up every month with different cycles of strength training and incorporating core work and cardio work too. He stresses the use of correct form in every exercise you perform and he provides the corrective cues at the right time as well as the motivation to push you through the exercises! He has your best interests in mine and really genuinely cares about your personal goals. I have already seen results and cannot wait to work out and learn more in Prime Performance.

I have been working with Jose at Prime Performance Training Systems for 3 months. I have seen awesome results since I changed from the daily treadmill/eliptical routine to an individualized program that Jose created based on my strengths and weaknesses. Having Jose show me how to use weights in the way of deadlifting, pushing, pulling, pressing, squatting and so on is what has changed my body composition. LADIES, LISTEN UP! Using weights will not BULK you up; it WILL SHRINK you down and get you that definition that you have been looking for. If you are looking for REAL RESULTS; RUN, don't walk to Prime Performance Training Systems.
