Gym itself is great.. billing not so much. I was mislead directly by the owner to sign up for the highest membership with the option of downgrading to a more simple plan down the road. What was left out of the conversation and not listed in the agreement, was they charge you a re-enrollment fee to choose a lower membership...Not an honest business practice...

I went to this gym with my friend early in the morning and it was very nice. The facility itself was very new and clean and that staff were also very welcoming and helpful. I didn't encounter any of the bad things you would typically encounter at a gym. Locker room was clean and most importantly didn't smell.

I travel to the area frequently each year and have never found a gym I loved until I tried this Retro Fitness location. It's impeccably clean with loads of machines and free weight options. I went on a Saturday morning and, while it was busy, I didn't have to wait once for anything I needed for my workout. The pricing is also phenomenal. If I lived in the area full time, this would definitely be my daily gym.

I haven’t been to a gym in a couple of years but I have to say the new Retro Fitness on Hamburg Turnpike in Wayne is great. I love that they have classes….Roe is fantastic! I used to take her classes and I’m so happy she’s here!! Roe is a great instructor, makes you sweat, easy to follow and fun! I would love to see more Step and Spin/Cycle classes.

retro in Fairfield is much better this place in Wayne is clean the machines however are not state of the art if you wanna see state of the art go to powerhouse or barbells The machines are not made for big guys. Retro in Wayne is a great gym. Clean, friendly staff always have something fun going on . As of recent though the gym has been extremely hot. Where they’ve had to have the front doors open and also the class doors open. I’m not sure if they don’t have ac but that’s something they definitely red to fix as the summer months are approaching I would hate to have to leave such a great gym because if this issue.

genuinely was interested in getting a membership at this gym until I received a horrible tour from one of the front desk girls. she didn’t show me any of the machines or the bathroom which is the basics to show in a tour. was not educated on any of the machines offered when asked if they have a hip thrust machine and she proceeds to tell me she doesn’t work out there. the gym is nice but can’t really tell you what they have. will not be signing up after this experience.

Changing my 5 star review to a 1 star, the gym looks good but the work out equipment look up to date but they are not, there are to many people most of the time and you can barley find equipment to work out with and when you do most of the time there is a issue with the equipment or it is out of order. For instance, the bench's are not bolted down and end up being misplaced and that is a danger to me and the people who use it, and it seems like the HIGHER UPS do not care about this problem because many people I know have made complaints and they ignore us or just don't care. They don't put the time or effort into this gym it seems they just care about profit and how many people they can get to sign up. Honestly a bad place to go. Before signing up make sure you take a good look at the place in general before you make any final decisions.

I was disappointed with my experience at this location. I went to order a protein shake before closing time, but the staff refused to make one, saying they had already shut down the smoothie bar. If the gym is still open, all amenities should be available until closing, especially something as simple as a smoothie. It’s frustrating to pay for a membership and not receive the full experience. Definitely not the level of service I expected. Other retro fitness locations don’t do this, and this wasn’t the first time i was refused a protein shake even when the gym was still open.

They do not allow guest to use any of the amenities. I am surprised they let them use the bathroom at least. All the other retros allow for guests to use the Zen. they were rude to my guest. Yet this one is different . I don’t pay so much money for this kind of service. 0 stars.

This new Retro Fitness is spotless and super welcoming. I met the manager Natalie as soon as I walked in and she happened to be my instructor for the day. She explained everything clearly and was very patient. I’m glad the class felt tailored to my personal fitness level because I felt like going back after accomplishing all those full body workouts, made me feel confident afterwards.
