Owner and instructor is attentive. He shows his clients proper form and technique. He firmly, but kindly pushes his clients to keep going. He is aware of the level and capability of each of his clients and levels them up safely. The pad work with him is where the speed and cognitive ability work as one in becoming natural reactions. The bag work is where you can focus on form, strength or speed, and you work at your own pace. The goal is you being better than you the day before. The other clients are friendly and there is no cattiness or judgments. Overall great place!

I had been thinking of getting a personal trainer for years. I did my research and I decided on Shaun. At 54 years old, it was daunting to go into a gym, start a routine and create healthier habits. Shaun made it easy and created a plan specific for me. Don’t get me wrong. The workouts are far from easy, they’re tough! But he’s motivating and knowledgeable and he’s kept me accountable. Shaun is good people and an awesome trainer. He has been training both of my sons for years. He has gained relationships with both of them and truly cares about their success. He comes to all of Sam’s football games, and I have complete trust in him when he takes Ryan to different tournaments. I have watched him not only help make my kids faster and stronger, but he helped bring their CONFIDENCE and WORK ETHIC to the highest of levels. This place is not like the rest!
I went to the 'big' gym in town for a free training session when i was more than 30 pounds overweight and could not do bodyweight moves. The trainer was so condescending and told me I should just use the treadmill. For years I was too embarrased to walk into a gym.
I finally walked into Shaun's place almost 2 years ago now, and I cannot rave enough about my experience with him & his staff. They never made me feel like I didn't deserve to be there or that I was beyond help. Shaun met me where I was then, and through intentional progression he has pushed me to consistently improve. And if I make it to a group class and can't keep up with the rest of the class, the staff is quick to provide me modifications to make it work.
Even though I've bought a home gym, I've kept up training for almost 2 years because there is so much value in someone giving you a fresh plan each week, ensuring you work muscles that you may otherwise neglect, pushing you to your best, correcting your form for safety, and also reracking the weights! Training with Shaun Maloy Fitness has been the best investment in myself I have ever made.

I started PT with Shaun almost a year ago. I have back/knee problems and was nervous to start training. Shaun takes every precaution to make sure I am not in pain and yet still growing stronger everyday.
Shaun is easy to get along with, friendly, understanding and pushes me to work harder, which is exactly what I need. He works around my limitations but still somehow manages to keep me striving to be better than the week prior.

I have been working with Mark Tedesco for 4 months and it has changed my life! I have used a personal trainer in the past and had a terrible experience with the trainer not understanding my fitness level and pushing me to the point of injury. Mark is NOT like that at all! He is extremely knowledgeable and he has made fitness plans for me that are appropriate, but also challenging! He also takes into account your interests. I have fallen in love with lifting weights and he has been adding more of that into my workouts, as well as continuing to work on overall strength, mobility, and functional fitness. I am already down 2 pant sizes and very close to sizing down again! Very please with my experience.

I've been training with Shaun a few times a week since August. I never liked going to the gym and was always super self conscious about working out. Training with him has changed my mind completely and I really enjoy my mornings there. He makes it challenging but also listens to what your body needs, I have a really bad neck and it is always taken into consideration. My husband was even more of a gym hater and he has now been coming as well, enjoying his "fitness". Shaun is just a great guy and everyone here is down to earth. I am currently working with Mark as my personal trainer at Shaun Malloy Fitness. I’ve been working with Mark since August and he is an amazing trainer. I'm Vic. I was struggling with pre-hypertention and metabolic syndrome / insuline resistance for years. I started training with Mark at Sean Maloy Fitness since the beginning of March. I went from a 46 inch waste line to now almost under 40. I was 239.8 pounds, now I'm weighing in at about 217. Mark and Sean are very kind, mindful of safety and make clients impornant individually, not as business volume. My personal growt and confidence have have picked up speed! I'm grateful for two new friends and a nice bit of melting 2-3 times per week. The price for the services offered are half of most of the competitors in the area. Give it a try. Shaun was recommended to me after I decided to participate in an amateur boxing charity event. With almost no experience boxing (and at 40 years old) I started training with Shaun at the beginning of September. I can't say enough about Shaun and his natural ability as a coach, teacher, motivator, and encourager.
