They are amazing 🤩
My son just started and the instructors are awesome they were patient and stern when needed. My son was nervous but they worked though it and learned so much on the first day. This is the place for him. The instructors dropped gems on these kids which I love. I see my son will gain confidence, knowledge and wisdom here👍🏾👍🏾🤩

Shinobi School of Self Defense is by far a real work of art. A few months back, I began the search for a good martial arts school for my 7 year old daughter at the time. When I say, that I looked high and low for a place I think we'd fit (and I say "we" because it's a commitment for me as well)....take it from me, as I am the Queen of research. This place is IT!!!
I'm sorry to say, but I found the other places to be average, and commercially ran. Where they give a new belt every other week just to keep parents paying and feeling hopeful of the child becoming a black belt within a year. Shinobi School of Self Defense is everything but that. The instructors are serious about their craft, and the children really learn proper technique. Titles are rarely a topic of conversation until it's time to advance, and I don't mind it at all because I see with my own eyes the progress my daughter has made in such a short period of time.
From the start of the phone conversation with the Owner/Instructor AbduShakur, I knew this is where I wanted my daughter to learn. He is every bit of passionate, kind, patient and a master at the art of Ninjutsu. My daughter runs to class when it's time and loves to practice and show what she's learned. Shihan is also amazing with over 40 years under his belt, and I look forward to his funny comments and stories during class. And most importantly, I love that it's a family friendly environment. The fact that I can bring my infant and busy toddler with me to watch and feel totally comfortable doing so is the icing on the cake for me. This review is necessary, and I hope more parents take the time to do so because they deserve it.
