My experience with Shore Movements has been a very positive one. I signed up for a six week challenge and was met with a very positive experience and a supportive group of people. My favorite gym! I love the trainers, they are all so kind and supportive. It’s a fun environment with friendly faces. I take the group classes and they are typically a small group, which I enjoy. I always get an excellent workout.
I’ve been going for about 6 months now, which is the most consistent I’ve ever gone to a gym. I feel so good about myself and how I look. Definitely a special gem of a gym!

I love Shore Movements! I was looking for a smaller gym with a more personal touch and that’s what Shore Movements is. It has such a nice and happy atmosphere and the people who work there are all super friendly and helpful. I’ve been working out with Kerry since November and she’s amazing. She helped me strengthen my back and core after a mild injury. She’s so knowledgeable and I’ve never felt stronger than when I started working out with her. The small group classes are also great-lots of individualized attention and just an all around great workout.

I love this gym for multiple reasons. The trainers are legit, the space is super clean and finding parking is easy. I always leave feeling like I not only got a solid workout, but also had fun. I highly recommend Shore Movements. Mike and the rest of the Shore Movements team are kind, knowledgeable, and really strive to make your fitness goals individualized and achievable. I do the 45 minute small group trainings 3 times a week, but they also offer much more such as personal training and nutrition guidance. I really enjoy the small group training classes. Trainers make them fun and adaptable for all fitness levels. I have a previous knee injury and have not consistently worked out in a couple years. They always make sure to modify and adapt exercises for me and everyone else in the class. With their help, I was able to lose 10 lbs and really get comfortable weight training again. If you are looking for a fun community to meet your fitness goals, Shore Movements is it.

Shore Movements has been an essential catalyst to a healthy lifestyle for my family and I. From the instructed weight training, to the guided nutrition, and the committed accountability to their clients, I am forever changed.
I came into Shore Movements looking for a way out of constantly not being able to fit into the clothes I wanted to and not having energy to play with my almost 2 year old daughter. Once we had our second daughter this past October I knew I needed to make a change.
I signed up for a 6 week challenge after speaking with Mike the owner and trained mostly with Danielle and partially with Sean. Mike kept me accountable and all 3 of them kept me motivated!
By the time I ended my challenge I was down just about 20lbs and my energy level and outlook on life has been sky high! I’m now down 24lbs and my wife and daughter have joined in with me on making good nutrition choices and working out a part of our everyday life!
It’s no longer a challenge, it’s an adventure!! Thank you everyone at Shore Movements!

I absolutely loved my experience working with Shore Movements! I needed to kick start exercising again after a spinal fusion and could benefit from nutritional guidance so why not try both at one place... THIS is the place to do it. The guidance I've been given nutritionally, from Mike, has afforded me an almost 16 pound loss in a few weeks. The classes, shout out to trainers D and Neff, I see you the most.. you ladies are awesome.. you keep everyone moving and you SEE every person in class and make modifications instantly for everyone. Mike is an awesome nutritional coach and has changed my relationship with food in just 3 months. My fitness coach Danielle is more like a motivational bestie who kicks my ass in the gym 3x a week. She always pushes me to perform at my best, but never pushes it over the line. She modifies when needed and is really cognizant of everyone’s different fitness levels. I’m down 10 lbs and almost 4lbs of body fat!

I highly recommend ShoreMovements. I had a great experience at ShoreMovements with Kasey as my trainer. I’ve always been uncomfortable going to gyms but ShoreMovements is a personal, friendly, encouraging environment that kept me motivated and challenged. I highly recommend this gym. The staff is caring, knowledgeable and passionate. I’m not one for big gyms or exercise in general (lol) so having a personal trainer in a private setting has been wonderful for me. I’m having an amazing experience with Shore Movements!! I’m 59 years old and have been addicted to exercise for most of my life which is why I could always eat and drink whatever I wanted but still remain thin and nicely toned… until the last year or two!!! Little by little the pounds kept adding up until finally I couldn’t fool myself any longer and knew something needed to change! I heard about Shore Movements and, more specifically, Mike Bilow from a friend and it sounded like the type of change I needed!!! I was right!! Mike Bilow is INCREDIBLY KNOWLEDGEABLE on nutrition and muscle mass versus body fat. Although I knew the bare minimum (ie build muscle and more muscle means more calories burned) I never knew the specifics of how to build muscle with food in addition to working out and how alcohol breaks muscle down!! Mike is incredibly consistent in staying in touch and recognizing goals!!!

I've been training at Shore Movements in Bradley Beach, NJ for a few weeks now and I am thrilled with the results so far. The environment is one that is relaxed and welcoming. My fitness journey started with an initial consultation with Shore Movement's owner, Michael Bilow, where he asked my what my goals were, what were my intentions , and how he could help. He was approaching my fitness journey from a macro, holistic point of view. From there he partnered me with Sean as my primary trainer and Michael would spear head my nutritional needs. Michael and Sean have been great! As someone who has suffered multiple knee injuries in the past, they pay attention to my individual needs and limitations with a laser like focus. This is not a "cash grab" training facility. They genuinely care about their clients well being along with helping prepare their clients for future success. I would highly recommend you take the time to get to know them and see how they could be resource for your physical and nutritional needs.

I met Mike about 4 months ago, and we took a chance on each other. I was in shape already, but that shape, unfortunately, was spherical. Mike and Sean, one of his trainers, have given me the motivation and guidance I was in search of to change my life around. I am proud to say that I am part of the ShoreMovement family. That's what you become when join them. You become part of the family. When I started there, one of Mike's first questions to me was "What don't you like". I said I dislike running. He said he would make sure I would never run, and he's kept true to his word. I box, I bike, I lift some weights, among many other things. The workouts are innovative and fresh and because of that, I actually look forward to going each time. Mike's nutritional guidance has me eating right and being held accountable. One day I was scrolling through my feed on Facebook and an ad popped up for a forty-two day FREE detox challenge.
At the time, I had lost close to sixty ponds, but I was still struggling with the last fifteen to twenty. It was the perfect time for me to take my health and my life to the next level and FREE made it that much more appealing. I entered my information and totally forgot about it until I got a text reminding to show up for my orientation.
I didn’t know what to expect. When I arrived at Shore Movements, it was a non-threatening, beautiful and clean gym where I was greeted by the friendly faces of Mike and Hunter.
Mike is the owner of the gym and it was very evident from the moment I met him how passionate he is about helping people get in shape. He is always there to answer any questions, motivate you, and keep you accountable.
The workout regimen consisted of three forty-five minute classes at the gym with a very knowledgeable, fun and caring trainers. Sessions covered cardio and resistance training with focus on every body part. In addition to sessions at the gym, I had to work out on my own, three days a week.
After about two weeks of working out, I noticed that I started to crave working out. That’s huge or me because even though I lost a lot of weight, it was just by eating better. Since I’ve added fitness to my daily routine I see and feel tremendous difference in my appearance, stamina and elevated mood. With all this said this is not a quick fix by any means.
When I met with mike for my halfway evaluation, he gave me an option to become a member for a discounted price. Without a second thought, I signed up right there and then for two times a week. After one week I felt two days wasn’t enough and I upgraded to three times a week.
This was the best investment I could’ve made for myself with the best group of people who are rooting for me to succeed, willing to work with me and hold my hand through any obstacles I might’ve faced on my fitness and diet journey. By putting myself and my health first, I’ve noticed that every other area of my life has improved.

I believe people will join Shore Movements for one of two reasons either to lose weight or get in shape. I joined to get in shape, but I also lost weight. I feel the best thing about Shore Movements is the personal touch the classes are between six and seven people so you feel like you have your own personal trainer and nutritionist. I also realize each person in the class are at different fitness levels and each trainer works within your level feel if I can do the workouts any one can. I highly recommend it.

I drove by Shore Movements a thousand times and finally one day I walked in and it changed my life. In my late 30s, I suffered from severe issues with my feet that made even walking unbearable at times. After two surgeries and a year long up and down recovery and not to mention significant weight gain, I finally made an appointment with Mike with zero expectations that I would be able to do any of the workouts! After the first workout, I knew I was in the right place. They knew my injuries and limitations and still found ways to make my workouts just as vigorous! Six months later, I have lost almost 30lbs, am stronger than I have ever been and can do more than I thought I ever would be able to do again. The entire team of trainers are fun and personable and never make you feel intimidated. Shore Movements Is a top notch fitness studio in an awesome location. Every single trainer is super knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. They really care about their clients and build a relationship with each of them. The staff is so friendly, you never feel intimidated going in there. I have been a client of Mike's for a year now and signing up with him was one of the best things I have committed to! When I signed up I was always at the gym doing excessively cardio and obsessing over losing the baby weight (I have a toddler who is 2 1/2 now). Mike set a plan that was suitable to my needs along with a meal plan to help assist with a healthier diet. He is extremely flexible when it comes to scheduling and always finds a way to fit me in, especially with my crazy mom schedule! At times when I did not have a babysitter he encouraged me to bring my daughter and we did a few Mommy-Me exercises! ShoreMovements is Toddler Friendly! He has been there cheering me the whole way on my weight loss journey and I have seen definition in my body that I haven't seen since my 20s! He is amazing! If you're thinking about a personal trainer he is definitely the one to go to!

Jessica at ShoreMovements is beyond an amazing trainer. I'm over 60 and have had trainers in the past and there's no comparison. I've methodically used weight machines and never achieved close to what I've achieved in a short time with Jessica. She spends 45 minutes at my side, encouraging me, following my every move and correcting me. Every exercise uses multiple muscle groups. After 45 minutes with Jessica it's a full workout. I am lifting 10 pound dumbbells, doing multiple squats with weights, push-ups, using pulleys with weights, bands, and some boxing. I've never been stronger in my life. And on top of all this, we talk and laugh and before I realize it, we're stretching and she's giving me a high five. I thought I would go for 3 months, and after 6 I'm not stopping. 10 stars for Jessica. And, Mike, the owner is a great guy too. Lots of support and encouragement at this place and they know what they are doing.
