It's my first gym , I trained with Ryan for 2 months . The results have been awesome. Not only did I get into my desired shape, I learned multiple combinations of workout. The gym is super clean , hygienic, has a sauna amongst other facilities and a super friendly staff :)

The only issue is that they have the cleaners come during primetime and it can smell like bleach, which isn't great when you're exercising hard. If they had cleaners at off-peak hours, that would make a lot more sense. Otherwise, no complaints!

It's super clean, friendly employees, and all the essential equipment. It's a really solid gym!

In particular the trainers are great. I train with Abi, she's fantastic and really knows her stuff! Professional but very personable and is never too pushy about working out, which makes you feel like she has her clients' best interests in mind.

Went to the gym late night. Once done, the locker was changed out of nowhere. I addressed the situation to the owner; he knows the situation and has been an ongoing thing, but he doesn’t solve it still.

Edit: appreciate that he was able to discuss it in person with my brother and showed how it works. Just changed the 1-star review to a 4-star review.

The owner was incredibly accommodating and provided us with a prorated plan since we're temporarily staying in New Jersey, which was much appreciated. The gym itself is clean, well-maintained, and has plenty of squat racks, so I never had to wait to use one. The sauna and quick shower facilities are also a huge plus after a workout. Overall, I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great gym in the area!

I've been a happy Snap customer since they opened! The gym may be smaller with less equipment, but they keep their gym clean and the employees are always super kind. Big bonus is that it's a 24 hour gym so you can go whatever time you please.

I only started going to this place. Staffs are very nice and friendly, gym is well equipped with all the machines for all body parts. No complaints on machines and free weights. Its doesn’t get too much crowded either. Atleast it doesn’t feel like it coz gym is pretty spacious.

You don’t have to wait for your turn, not more than 5 mins. They have enough cardio machines and spacious stretching area. Space is nice and has pleasant odor. They have sauna too, 2 person occupancy and shower room. Parking might be an issue but i ve always found street parking 5 mins walking distance from gym. Also cost is lil high around $100 a month, but whats worth when you are not healthy.

All in all, love it so far, and i feel motivated going to this gym.

I joined this gym right when I moved to Jersey City, and it's been great! Honestly, it is the most modern and newest gym in the area, so it is worth the price. The front desk is very friendly, and the staff is always looking to improve the gym even more. I like how there is a little sauna in the locker room. There is just enough space and equipment to get a full workout in. The tap access is super easy and allows you to workout at any time. I started training for my half marathon on their treadmills!!

I used to go to Snap in Towaco, so when I saw one came to Jersey City, I signed up instantly. Cheaper than most other gyms in the area, it has everything you need. And if there’s something you don’t, just ask Matt like I did, and it was there within 2 weeks! They’re responsive to issues with the gym and being open 24 hours is unbeatable. Having someone here multiple days a week has also been a welcome experience!

I had been looking for a conveniently located gym for some time when I got a note that SnapFitness was coming and it would right around the corner from where I live. I joined right off the bat and was impressed by the staff. I also want to shout out my coach Dwight with whom I worked for 3 months. The gym itself looks amazing but I went inside to check it out and I wasn’t addressed by the woman cleaning the front door window for a couple of minutes. She then said “Hables Espanol?” And I realized the only person on staff didn’t speak any English so I left.

Again beautiful facility but I was hoping for a tour and a rundown on their membership prices because I’m looking for a new gym. I couldn’t see it in its entirety because I couldn’t communicate with their employee about getting a tour. I also applied to work there after seeing that they were hiring since I’ve been looking for extra work and have a background in personal training. No response either. Pretty disappointed with them

Wanted to give a shoutout to Matt and his team at snap fitness. If you are local in jersey city or traveling in from out of town, I highly recommend snap fitness. The gym is 24/hrs which is PERFECT for all schedules and the equipment is top of the line. The gym has exactly what you need and is not overwhelming for individuals new to the gym or not comfortable with certain machines and equipment. Matt is local to NJ and really has a level of personalization that you can't find at some of the larger gyms in the area, where you are just another face. Definitely worth checking out!
