My wife and I have been members at Snap Fitness for one and a half years and its been a positive experience. The gym is always clean, towels are always available, fridge always has bottled water along with other protein snacks, and "Free" apples & bananas after your workout. Equipment meets any kind of weight lifting on all levels. I lift heavy weight and the machines are always functional & safe. We enjoy all the cardio machines and the designated area desgned for yoga stretching, planks, and aerobic warm up. Facility comes with a speed bag which makes Snap Fitness a complete gym and my workouts rewarding each and every time. John is a gentleman with total class. His laser focus with staff and gym members are very much noticed and appreciated. Keep up the great work and attention to detail. God Bless....

Great gym, clean and every piece of equipment is always functional. I have been going here for the last 1 1/2 years and never had a issue with machines and staff. John, the owner is a very nice man and is very attentive to the needs of his members. Very safe gym with security cameras and fob keys for entry on non staffed hours. Gym is open from 4am to midnight. Great assortment of free weights and treadmills and machines. I definitely would recommend to anyone.

Signed up for this gym as an auxiliary gym to use when I’m not near an Equniox. This place is absolutely disgusting. The gym equipment is dirty and totally outdated and the bathrooms are always so dirty (I usually come in the evening) The gym also smells like a boys locker room. I tried so hard to give this place a chance, especially since it is so convenient, but I can’t. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I will also post a review on yelp and Facebook with photos for reference.

This gym has the worst customer service ever. Do not, I repeat, do not sign up here. I’ve been trying to cancel my “no contract” membership for months. They keep charging and charging and charging every month. You can’t even get in touch with customer service because there’s 1 person working for 3 hours a day. Absolute joke of a facility. Unprofessional. Will be dealing with my bank to dispute the charges.

Went here only for a trainer i know that used to work here. Terrible location, parking issues, small gym and issues with charging credit card. I canceled my membership MONTHS ago and they have charged me out of No WHERE. NO ONE EVER PICKS UP THE PHONE. I WILL BE CONTACTING THE BBB.

With no classes and a convenient location this gym has the recipe for success as a budget (non 24hr) gym in the neighborhood. The reality is that after JohnSF bought this Snap Fitness franchise from Kyle, it started looking a lot better on the surface, but running a lot worse when you experience it. Broken machines, dirty bathrooms, security problems and overcrowding are a few of the issues. Members are forced to pay an annual "decorating fee" which is a not a joke. Membership cancellation is also a hassle, which seems to be a common problem among many gyms nowadays, not just this one. JohnSF appears to be an angry person, who I have personally seen getting into it with clients - he should not be working in this industry, a loaded gun ready to go off - its just a matter of time before something bad happens while this loaded weapon is around. He is better suited to being a bouncer at a Jersey Shore bar, not running a gym in Ridgefield NJ. I do not have any first-hand knowledge of steroids being used here.

I really hope that someone reads this before a serious act takes place and someone is hurt, and this is not just a post-incident anecdote which the media points to and asks "why didn't someone say something?" Well, I am saying something. This is my first Google review BTW!

Horrible customer service and rude owner. Continued to double charge my credit card for several months, and ignored my calls to resolve the issue. When I disputed the duplicate charges with the credit card, he terminated my membership. Not worth the premium to begin with, but with that kind of treatment, I would rather take my money elsewhere.

I have been to the gym, and even though it is nice and maybe in a convenient spot, it is TERRIBLY EXPENSIVE. Not only that, but if you are someone who wants to start working out before your 16, you can't. The website says you can from the age of 14 with the family plan, but not here. False advertising? Or not following up with the system? Places like Planet Fitness are better becuse the are cheaper and larger. Therefore due to my prior experience, I feel this gym is a terrible place and tips you off. Thank you for reading this! Please take this into consideration when looking for a gym.

Snap Fitness is may be small, but it is mighty. The gym is clean, has a friendly staff and a judgment free atmosphere. Now under new management, the gym is constantly being upgraded. This is the perfect place to quick-start your New Years resolution!

This is not a bad gym, in fact it's rather nice. It's clean, well kept, and the staff is friendly. Also, there's no contract which is a major plus. But sadly, as one reviewer mentioned, it is too small. I suppose that's relative. There's only 2 bars, 1 flat bench (not including the smith machine), and one set of dumbbell weight. If there's even a few people in the gym, it starts to get a bit packed. I had one guy who didn't seem to have a good grasp of English hog the lat pulldown machine (texting between sets sitting on the bench) and the 2 free bars in use by 2 people, while simultaneously having the 25 lb dumbbells in use by a third. Very small gym, try it out for yourself.

This gym has THREE kinds of cardio equipment-bike, treadmill, and some imitation elliptical. What's more is there is quantity thereof is LAUGHABLE. 2 bikes, 4 treadmills, and 4 "ellipticals". Try working out after work; it's packed to the gills and you're GUARANTEED to wait. Work Out World is just a few blocks in the other direction and it's infinitely as large. Take your business there; you'll be much happier.
