South Jersey Storm’s background is a humble one that began with a passion for all star cheerleading and a FAMILY FIRST philosophy.
SJS’s program was – and remains – successful because of dedicated, hard-working coaches and athletes. The SJS coaching staff is recognized in the all star industry for their background, education, knowledge & experience with coaching in the all star cheerleading & dance world (tumbling, stunting and choreography – for typical and special needs athletes). SJS coaches & instructors take pride in their ability to assess and utilize each individual to assemble the best SJS teams.

I have three daughters at SJS. I have a tiny, junior and a cheer ability athletes.
My tiny athlete I could not be more proud of her this season. When we started at storm she was shy and quiet. I still remember her first cheer/tumble class, where she cried the entire class. Now I can’t get her out of the gym. She loves the coaches and the sport. She has a drive like no other. She wants to be there everyday and markets for storm without being told. She wants all of her school friends to cheer with her at SJS.
My junior athlete has grown so much this year. She has not only developed friendship but her tumbling ability has improved. She is so excited to be at the gym each day and working on skills to better herself. I couldn’t thank SJS enough for giving her the confidence and pushing her to be a better athlete.
Finally not least my cheer-ability athlete. This program speaks for itself. We have been with this program for 3 years. I would not have it any other way. When we first started at SJS, my daughter wouldn’t make eye contact and barely spoke to anyone. Now the team is family. She speaks to everyone at the gym and has goals just like everyone else. She strives each day to be better. Coach Shelly is more than a coach to her and myself. She is family. My daughter tells me each day she wants to be a cheer coach like Shelly.
We love this cheer experience. I couldn’t ask for a better gym. I have all of my daughters at one location and the fact that they all love it is even better. There something for everyone. I love seeing their progress and having friends that become family.

My daughter has been with SJS for two years now. When I say that SJS is her family, they are her family and have a bond like no other. My girl can be who she is and they all support and love each other. We have been going through a very rough time in life with middle school girls and her teammates and other amazing girls at the gym have been her rocks. Most of them didn’t know how badly my daughter has needed them but they have pulled through and my mama heart couldn’t be more proud of these kids! Liv, you’re amazing and you don’t even realize how amazing you’ve been for my girl. I love SJS and the family, support, and relationships these girls create. I love the owners, coaches, Tad, and Nikki for being so supportive and people our kids need/want to be with. There is no other gym around that compares and I just genuinely cannot express my gratitude to all of you and how amazing you all are. Especially to the kids who need a little more help and patience. Thank you, SJS❤️

They are the cutest little girls I couldn’t believe for 4 & 5 year olds can do the things that a 12 and 15 year old can do ! I witnessed amazing teachers patient teachers with little children if I had little children, I would definitely send my children here ! There’s so professional I was amazed !

My daughter cheered for this team for multiple seasons. We always paid our bills and fees on time, my daughter decides to quit, it became too much for her with school. Our comp fees were paid up for the entire year, and the team tuition was paid up to the time that she left. They are currently suing us for the remainder of the year even though my daughter was no longer on the team. We never asked for our comp fees back even though my daughter did not attend the comps we paid for.

SJS is like our second home. The owners and staff go out of their way to make sure the gym is a great place for athletes and their families. Their teams work hard to be successful and it shows. I would never have my daughter cheer anywhere else!

Our daughter loves her Storm Family. She started last year as a new cheerleader, not able to do a walkover, and not having any knowledge of stunting and cheer. Storm has transformed her into an awesome cheerleader who can now do multiple back handsprings and fly in the air. Our youngest daughter still runs up to Emy's first coach and hugs her! She has had amazing friends and coaches that have made a difference in all of our lives.
