I’m fairly new to yoga, and South Street Yoga has been such a welcoming and supportive place to start my journey. The schedules are super flexible, with plenty of class options to fit any routine. The studio is always clean, well-organized, and conveniently located—with parking available, which is a huge plus!
The atmosphere here is friendly, relaxed, and never intimidating. There are plenty of props available, and while it can get a little crowded at times, it’s easy to see why—the classes and instructors are that good!
The instructors are truly wonderful. Liz is an incredible teacher—she really works us hard, but it’s always worth it in the end. Caitlin is amazing too; she helps with positioning and ends class with relaxing head and shoulder rubs using essential oils (the best way to finish a class!). Anna is also a fantastic instructor—she’s so patient and kind, and you can tell she’s great with people of all levels (you can see her background working with kids shine through in her calm and encouraging teaching style). And I have to mention Olivia, who’s currently on maternity leave—I really miss her Posture Lab class. She breaks down each pose in depth, which is such a great learning tool for someone new like me.
South Street Yoga truly deserves all five stars. I can’t recommend it enough.

I’ve now taken x2 sound bath restorative yoga classes and they were amazing. The space is beautiful. The energy is cozy and wonderful. The instructors and owner and so welcoming and inviting. Both times I’ve left relaxed and renewed. Liz is a wonderful instructor and guide. The experiences have been amazing each time. Would highly recommend this space.

I want to thank South Street Yoga and Nutrition for your donation to Diana Ministries LLC. I am a volunteer and host workshops at different locations. South Street Yoga and Nutrition has donated for the past three years gift cards to Diana Ministries for the shelter, Homeless Solutions, and treatment center Mrs. Wilson's Treatment Center in Morristown. We are so thankful for your care and donation. Your generosity puts a smile on our faces and hearts. The participants were super excited and thrilled to come to do yoga a way of relaxation as they continued on their journey. Thank you a million times over and Happy Holidays.

I started taking yoga classes at SSYN four years ago. I have learned so much and have loved being part of the community. Every time I go to a class I decide that teacher is my favorite - until I go to the next class and love that teacher just as much! Thanks, Debbie, for keeping me relatively sane through Covid and for enhancing every part of my life!

I've been going to South Street yoga for two years and, slowly but surely, I'm getting stronger and more flexible.
The whole community is kind and supportive of each other. Instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and sequence the classes to make sure that you are warmed up and not injuring yourself.
Perfect for the beginner or the experienced Yogi!

South Street Yoga is excellent, the instructors are all very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Each one brings their own character inside the studio which makes each class unique. The other yogis are friendly, down to earth and easy to talk to. As a beginner new to yoga I always felt comfortable learning at my own pace and not feeling rushed into positions. I appreciate the opportunity to be a student at SSY and look forward to more classes with their dedicated and friendly staff.

The community at SSYN is wonderful and welcoming. The studio space at Mills Street is bright, light and magical. The teachers are creative and caring. SSYN is a special place to take a yoga class, meditation break and support local. 😊
Full disclosure, I teach yoga at SSYN but I was a student there before a teacher and continue to enjoy the classes and workshop offerings.

I took the Wednesday night Yin Yoga class. I’ve take many yoga classes in the past few years but if you like meditative/Yin Yoga I highly recommend this class. The use of blocks was fantastic. The teacher had a great cadence. I have been struggling with a lot of back problems and the twists and poses were great. I left feeling refreshed and renewed more-so than ever.

I love going to this studio! It’s a great space With friendly teachers. I love taking Meghan’s classes in Monday nights. Her classes are super physically challenging, but focus on the practice and the breath, which is why I started yoga in the first place! :)

The best yoga community in Morris County. Knowledgeable spirited teachers and staff, and supportive dedicated students. If you are looking for a friendly not trendy yoga atmosphere where you can learn and practice yoga, South Street Yoga and Nutrition is where it’s at. Lots of variety in style and levels to really accommodate all levels. I love it there.

South Street Yoga has created a truly special yoga community in Morristown and has become a second home to me! The yoga classes range from restorative to invigorating, and the teachers are sensitive to any limitations or special requests in the class. SSYN is committed to making yoga accessible for all: alongside their classes on pilates and flow yoga, the Chair Yoga course welcomes yogis that may be physically limited.
I am so impressed with the work done here and recommend the studio to anyone looking for a one-time class or long term community!

This is a very special place. There is a tremendous warmth and sense of community that is experienced when you walk through its doors. The instructors challenged you both physically and spiritually, and the owner is kind and thoughtful. No matter how hard the day has been, an hour at SSYN just makes it better.
