Very old school looking gym with all the necessary equipment and space to get it done. Don't come here looking to relax or get a tan. This is where one comes to train for real. Not for the faint of heart. But there's also tons of classes and trainers readily available from novice to advanced. Anyone can train! 🥊💪

I’ve never been here but I’m leaving a 5 star review because I can see when I walk or drive by that there’s a steady influx of people in and out so something must be right. The community needs more establishments like this to keep kids active and out of trouble. The traditional options like martial arts or organized sports aren’t for everyone so having a variety of physical activities in the community should be encouraged.

I went on Monday and it was over crowed and had to ask where to go and what to do. The instructor didn’t teach anything or any techniques. It was just like a workout, throwing punches but I didn’t know what to do. Wont be going back.

All three of my children go to this gym! One of the three was being bullied at school! My child lost complete focus in class. Everyday he felt he had to look behind his back in and out of class. It was a horrible experience! I was driving to my sons school everyday before that bell rang to protect him. His father and I decided to put him in this gym, and it was the greatest accomplishment ever! My son still remains humble, with much discipline. However, he gained so much self confidence! Needless to say, he stood up to his bully and it was GAME OVER! We couldn’t have done it without this amazing gym which teaches self confidence, discipline and how to really use your hands (when needed). My children will remain here and grow with the gym!

Really weird gym…. And it’s really expensive. Any young boxer or older boxer shouldn’t train here there is nothing for you here and you won’t get better here. Go somewhere else.

I personally spoke with someone in person to set up a one on one session for my son and I followed up via email the following day. I never heard back. I had to booked a session at Gleason which is an inconvenience since I live near North Bergen.

Impressive variety of gym-goers here spanning all types of cultural backgrounds and skill levels, a clear indication of the level of inclusiveness and dedication of the staff. Des is the real deal, takes time out to chat with everyone, coaching the kids and you can really see his belief in making better humans in here. Not just better athletes, but turning you adolescents into mature, well rounded individuals.

More fitness and development Mecca’s such as this needed, and more importantly, folks like Desmond Boyle.

Been training here for a few weeks now, Desmond is very knowledgeable and a good guy & trainer. I’ve learned a lot and have had some great workouts so far. Would highly recommend if you are looking to learn how to box or just get in better shape. Great atmosphere as well.

This is a real deal boxing gym. The owner is always there, 100% involved which is always nice to see. The energy is great as well as the equipment they have. If you are a boxer or just looking for a killer work out this is the place. Membership fee is totally reasonable.....Stop by and ask for Desmond.

Dedicated professionals who have been working with my two girls and turning them into champs. Desmond, Mike and Mike are smart and know how to teach and talk to kids. I drive far just to attend this ring. This class is pretty full but not over packed with long term students. That just shows how good of a rapport has been built.
