Let me start by saying how incredibly nice and welcoming all of the staff and even gym members are at this facility. I started at JDC last fall with a very limited knowledge and skill level. Within just a few months Tim Stiroh has met every expectation i had and then some.

I was referred to Tim by my physical therapist, and Tim has been absolutely fantastic at helping me with my fitness goals while being mindful about my physical issues. Tim is a great trainer but even more importantly an unbelievable person. He truly cares for all people he crosses paths with. I have seen first hand him improve the lives of his clients through teaching sustainable training habits and lifestyle modifications. Would recommend to people of all ages and gym experience levels, whether your an elite athlete or someone who has never lifted before. Tim's clients receive high end knowledge and desired results, but the biggest thing I noticed is that everyone who works with Tim always has a smile and looks forward to their sessions. Tim is absolutely great! He is extremely thorough, supportive, pays attention to detail and well organized. He definitely knows what he is doing!

He has made me feel super comfortable during the whole process and his workouts for me are perfect. He was able to challenge me in a very supportive way. I felt great after my workout!

If you’re looking for a well educated genuine trainer, Tim is your guy!!. He will help you every step of the way to get to your goals. He truly takes the time to customise a plan for you in and out side of the gym as well as help with your diet and nutrition. He also knows how to navigate an injury. If you feel discomfort during a certain exercise, he tries to understand where the discomfort is coming from and is always spot on with what you’re doing wrong. I can’t say enough good things about Tim, I am truly happy I found him as he has made me enjoy exercising again!

I have had the privilege of working with many personal trainers and strength coaches throughout the years. Tim is the real deal, probably the best I have seen do it. He will meet you where you are at, and even if you have a higher training age he will absolutely have a ton to offer. Whether its focusing on details including how to adjust pelvic tilt during complex movements, appropriately mobilize tibial rotation during dorsiflexion, or helping you max out explosive compound movements safely.
During our evaluation session Tim was focused and managed time excellently. He is knowledgeable and thoroughly evaluated me for my prior injuries. By the end of the first session I was completing pain free complex movements that had bothered me for years. He sent a written workout program after our session and offered counseling above and beyond what was expected. I watched him working with lower training age clients and he was equally as adept.
Worth every penny, I can only offer my highest recommendation.

Stiroh Fitness is excellent! Tim is great to work with, keeps me motivated with positive messages, and changes up the exercises frequently which keeps me engaged. I struggle with a lower back problem and have difficulty with some exercises.Tim has in-depth knowledge of body mechanics and always finds a way for me to do the movements safely through changing position or weight. He also offers nutrition guidance which helps me stay on track eating healthy foods. Highly recommend!

I’ve been lifting weights for over half my life but felt like it was time to take a refresher on my technique, as I felt like I wasn’t seeing any gains recently. Tim took the time to show me new stretches and exercises that helped refine my technique and also consulted me with my nutritional advice. I started seeing immediate results with better form, less soreness and within a few weeks I could see myself getting past my plateau.
