Absolutely worth it! The workouts are incredible and customizable to meet you where you are at and where you aspire to be. I cannot say enough good things about the whole experience!
As a mom of three under 5 on maternity leave, I needed something to help me get moving again, something just for me that was not chasing my lovable and energetic kiddos around. Signing up for the six week challenge was exactly what I needed. I was able to spend time with a supportive and fantastic community, getting stronger and losing some of the baby weight! I am not the mom who loses weight while nursing, it tends to only happen once Iβve weaned completely. I am currently 4 months postpartum and was able to lose 11 pounds while nursing!!!
The six week challenge helped me feel stronger both mentally and physically. I recommend this program and gym to anyone and everyone, love love love β€οΈ

STHC is just EXCELLENT! I am sure there is no place better than here. Today I completed my 6 wk challenge, 17 lbs in 6 wks. Coming from no workout experience, I was very nervous! But I am enjoying this!! And I just can't say enough great things about the coaches! Thank you for your patience, guidance and support!! and their meal plan which is simply great!! I never knew how to eat properly until now.

This is just an amazing organization. The owners and the coaches are truly invested in your success and growth. A little background - I am 56 years old and very out of shape. I have never been an athlete. I have been a member for five weeks and I attend three times a week. I can see and feel a dramatic change in my strength and fitness in this short time. OMG I am lifting weights! My metabolism is on fire! The program is life changing. They will absolutely kick your a** but they scale to fit your level of fitness and what you can reasonably do to ensure you aren't injured. Honestly, joining Hackettstown CrossFit is one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life.

I started CrossFit a few years ago just for cardio but little did I know I was going to fall in love with strength training and using the barbell. Iβve gained more confidence in myself through the workouts as well as found a new community. A community that supports you and challenges you to be the best version of yourself. I competed in my first CrossFit Open and loved every moment of seeing how far Iβve come with my training at HCF. The coaches are personable, encouraging, and so motivating. I highly recommend HCF! Iβve worked out my whole life but let it get away from me the last few years with a busy job and the pandemic. I was having shoulder pain and was experiencing limited mobility with my arm and wasnβt sure why. Seven months ago I decided I needed to get back into shape with no excuses and joined Strong Together Hackettstown CrossFit. Iβd never done CrossFit before and was worried about how it would go with my shoulder. Turns out it was the best decision I could make! The coaches were amazing and worked with me to ease my way into the movements and offered modifications that worked for me. My shoulder is now pain free and mobility is 90% back. I feel so much better and love the challenge of the workouts knowing that I can always scale them if needed. I couldnβt recommend this gym more. The coaches are patient and knowledgeable as well as fun. I plan on being in it for the long haul and highly recommend!!!

when I started the 6 week challenge I was 230lbs and after the 6 weeks I was 201lbs. This place is amazing if you are serious about your goals. The coaches and the owners are wonderful people and I wouldn't be were I am today without them. I strongly recommend this place to anyone serious about losing weight or getting into shape.

I joined Hackettstown CrossFit about three months ago and started with the 6-week challenge. I had huge success in my first six weeks (lost 23 lbs) and even more since then. All of the coaches (and members) are hugely supportive and helpful. The facility is fantastic and all of the coaches/trainers are top notch. I thought CrossFit would be intimidating, but not HCF. It's very welcoming, friendly, and lot's of community activities. If you are like me and struggle to stay motivated after a few weeks of joining a gym or working out in the garage, try CrossFit. Its hugely engaging, fun, and it works (for all fitness levels).

I recently joined HCF as part of a 6 week challenge. It's been a great decision. While I accomplished my goal in terms of weight loss & BMI reduction, what I really felt that was invaluable was the overall mindset shift I experienced. Health & wellness have become a prominent part of my daily life. On a daily basis I feel significantly better both physically & mentally since joining & I attribute that to the coaches specifically Christine & Gabby. Love this place. I did one of their 6 week challenges. lost a total of 19 pounds and 3.6% body fat. The challenge includes the gym, diet, and constant communication and accountability. You get an app to reach out to your coach whenever you want. When my wife saw how much I liked it she joined too! Everyone there is so nice and welcoming. Felt very comfortable there from day 1. There is a huge range of ages and body types. The coaches are great and explain everything thoroughly. My wife has never done any weight training which she was worried about but now she loves strength training. She did the challenge too with great results. We have been there for 3 months and will continue to go. I would recommend this place to anyone! You will not be disappointed! Never miss a Monday!

I was so nervous about starting CrossFit, I got my husband to join a week earlier to tell me how it was- he loved it from the first day. Once I met coach Jess I felt so comfortable I knew I had to just push myself to try it. Everyone is so welcoming and so helpful. All of the coaches are so knowledgeable and go over every workout beforehand, so even a newbie like me isnβt lost. Iβve always wanted to lift weights but have always been afraid of not knowing how to do something or looking stupid - but I have not once felt judged here and if anything everyone always helps you if youβre not sure how to do something. I finally feel like Iβm getting control of my nutrition and my health and I owe it all to the coaches here.

OK, now that I have completed the 12-week program at Hackettstown Cross-Fit, I thought it would be a good time to tell everyone my story!
My first βofficialβ day was on 2/1, and I came in at 259.1 LBS, a % body fat of 40.3%, on a calcium channel blocker for high blood pressure, and generally feeling βunwell.β For reference, I took my first photo that afternoon after my weigh-in. (see the first picture posted)
In the past, I tried to hit the gym, always with mixed results, primarily by my fault. I would start working out hard and then hurt myself, only to take too many days off and then βfall outβ of the routine. So I knew it was time to try something different. From the moment I walked into HCF and met Christine Romero, I could see that this would be what I needed; she provided me guidance not only on my workout but also on my diet. She gave me an easy diet plan to follow, checked in with me regularly and at the gym, coached me when I tried to do too much. (WHICH SHE STILL DOES, BY THE WAY!)
While I am not going to say it was easy! Especially the first two weeks! I saw immediate results, and I wasnβt killing myself, just working really hard, which is OK! And throughout that time, Christine and the staff at HCF continued to give me good feedback, provide me constant direction, and encouraged me to keep going.
My second photo was taken 26 days later, on 2/26. I had already lost 19 LBS. my BMI dropped to 32.3%. By now, I was in a groove at the gym; I felt I was getting stronger each week, learning the workouts (even the crazy, Christine ones!), and connected with some of the nicest people in the other gym members. (yea, Iβm talking to you guys! Melissa, Jim, Sue, and Ken, and of course my workout buddy Jeannette!)
Still, Christine and the staff continued to keep me focused on my goals and provided the needed guidance even when not at the gym. For this, I am very grateful.
So, to wrap up my long diatribe, I will tell you where I stand today, after my last weigh-in at the end of the 12-weeks. My weight has dropped to 213.4 LBS, down 45.7 LBS. My % body fat has dropped to 23.2%, down 17.1%. And my muscle mass has increased from 88.2% to 93.5%! Please see the last photo.
And oh, by the way, no more blood pressure medicine for me! (Doctors orders)
While my fitness journey continues (my goal is to get into the 175 LBS range), I know it is only a matter of time before meeting my goal. I can say without a doubt; I could have never achieved these results without the excellent work from my coaches at Hackettstown Cross-fit and a very special and sincere shout-out to my coach Christine Romero, who helped me along. If you are thinking about getting into shape, and are unsure, talk to the team at HCF, I promise you, you will not regret it!

I cannot say enough great things about STF Hackettstown CrossFit, from the amazing coaches all the way to the community of members. The coaches are beyond helpful from your first sit down to learn about what the gym has to offer to 2 years later and trying to refine better habits of nutrition and working on hitting new goals in the gym! They are always there to support wherever it is you are at in your fitness journey. Through this gym community I have gained some amazing people who have become great friends if not family. Whether itβs your first day or your 1,000th workout everyone is still cheering each other on with encouragement to push harder. Even prior to Covid-19 this was one of THE cleanest places to workout and now they go even more above and beyond to make sure everyone stays safe and healthy. So if youβre bored in the house, in the house bored and looking for a place to get away to, where you can gain very important knowledge on body, mind, and nutrition I HIGHLY recommend our cinderblock oasis. I joined Strong Together Hackettstown because I began to find it extremely hard to get out of bed and force myself to a regular fitness gym. I instantly fell in love with the crossfit experience! This is an amazing gym with amazing people. I would recommend for any athlete level because the coaches there walk you through every step to make sure you know what you are doing.

I joined Hackettstown CrossFit about 4 months ago and it's been an amazing experience thus far! I wouldn't say I was in horrible shape prior to joining (at 213 lbs with an athletic build) but I was definitely tired of doing work out videos in my basement or doing the same routine at the gym. I decided to check out CrossFit and was instantly welcomed by Coach Jess who walked me through the process and what a membership entails. What I like most is they have an app to sign up for classes using credits paid for through your membership. I think you can cancel a class up to an hour before but if you don't go to the class you lose the credit altogether - which is a waste of money so it really commits you to participating. I mainly work out in the 5:30am classes with Coach Christine and she's been awesome to train with - she knows when to push me but also knows when I've reached my limits. All the coaches are big on safety and review every movement for each work out daily. With the help of Coach Christine I'm down about 13 lbs, I've never felt more fit or athletic since college ball, and my energy/focus at work is amazing. I'm absolutely obsessed with CrossFit and couldn't be more satisfied with my results over the last 4 months.

Worst management/ownership ever. They can't figure out on how much to charge. They are offering $119 rates, $129 rates, and $139 rates. If you join right now they are charging $205... This is not how someone should run a business. . When asked if they could work with the pricing knowing that everyone is not getting the same pricing they said if you don't like the pricing then go somewhere else... They are more worried about making money they getting people into shape. Also that's great to tell someone who wants to join and who has friends who work out here.
People that have been there for years are leaving... that must be a hint not to join this place. I am glad I didn't join this place knowing what i know now it's the worse idea.

Hands down, the best thing Iβve done for myself in years. If you had told my 30 year old self I would be in better shape in my 40(ish) self, I would have laughed. In 12 weeks I have gained more than I lost. Flexibility, strength and power being at the forefront. Abilility to run longer than I thought was possible. Ability to lift, squat and actually do push ups! The coaches care and you are more than than just a key tag at a conventional gym. Step outside your comfort zone and step into Hackettstown CrossFit. You may just surprise yourself.

Like many others, I joined "Strong Together Hackettstown Crossfit" after seeing some ad's on Facebook and taking part in a 12 week challenge. I lost 40lbs, lowered my BMI 7 points, substantially lowered my resting heart rate, and was able to quit smoking! This has been absolutely one of the most positive decisions I've made with my life in the recent past. You don't need to be "in shape" to join, you just have to have a will to change your life. The coaches Mike, Jess and Ainya are incredible people who I am humbled to have in my life now. Their knowledge and encouragement are second to none and everything I needed in order to affect change in my life. It should also be noted that the community of people this business has created is amazing. Regardless of ability or mood there is always an intangible web of camaraderie and reverie at each workout. I just simply do not have the words to express how awesome of a place this is!

Like many other reviews, I started coming to HCF for their 6 week challenge. Before starting, I met with Coach Mike to go over the meal plan. Mike is extremely knowledgeable with nutrition and gave awesome tips on how to complete the diet. He will also have you join the private Facebook group where other members share meal prep ideas, recipes, and suggestions. The nice thing about the classes is that you are doing different exercises every day. And like most people mentioned, there are awesome people here, people willing to lend a helping hand and push you and give motivation when you need it. Special thanks to coaches John, Mike, and Jess. You guys are awesome! I was able to lose 20lbs during the 6 week challenge, and feel great. I strongly recommend HCF to anyone looking to make a healthy change. I strongly recommend "Strong Together Hackettstown CrossFit" to everybody! I recently finished a six week Challenge with them and I couldn't believe my transformation; lost over 25 Lbs. I have to admit, if it wasn't for my trainers, Jessica Poole and Mike Giaquinto, who pushed me to my limits, none of this would've been possible. Their meal plans and exercises were excellent and their encouragement beyond anything else. Communication was excellent because it shows that they care. The culture at this place is amazing and you can pretty much feel like you belong there since day one. Finally, the facility is located in a very nice, safe and clean area. The cleanliness of the facility is outstanding! I was a witness of how well the trainers kept the place before and after a workout ; even the members clean after themselves, which made me feel very comfortable every time I had a workout. Additionally, it's worth mentioning, the quality of the members who have been there for 6+ / 12+ / 24+ years is amazing; they strongly contributed to my continuing success. I signed up with STHCF for a 6-week challenge and had no hesitation to sign up for a full membership upon completion! The coaches are all 5 star and genuinely care about your success. During my challenge I was struggling with seeing the results I wanted and Coach Mike worked with me to change up my diet and then continued to check in throughout the rest of the challenge to make sure it was still working for me. The workouts are challenging but always have modifications for newbies or anyone with an injury. As with every fitness journey, you only get out of it what you put into it but, the vibe at HCF is positive, encouraging and makes working out an enjoyable experience!! I'm grateful for the coaches, challengers and members who pushed me through the 6-week challenge and I look forward to continuing my journey with my new HCF family!

Joint crossfit had been the best thing ever. I joined the 6 week challenge, which was drop 25 pounds or 6% body fat. I was able to hit that goal! The trainers are great and help me reach that goal. When I was first joined, I must be honest, I was a little hesitate that I would not be able to do a lot of things, because I have two bad knees. However, Coach Jess and Coach Mike were fantastic! For whatever injury you have they have some sort of modification. They are motivating and very accessible for whatever question you may have. I specifically joined the 6 wk challenge, and I lost 20 lbs and 8% body fat and I couldn't have done it without them and couldn't be any happier. Strong Together Hackettstown is more than a gym, it really is an awesome place to get motivated, get healthier and stronger without any judgment, and only support! Definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in getting fitness, from zero experience ( which was me) to full out experience!

While I have come to enjoy working out, I tend to get bored with the same routine. Crossfit has been a breath of fresh air. Never having the same workout twice, I look forward to what the day is going to bring when I walk through the door. Frank is an awesome coach that pushes you to do your best while ensuring that you are doing things safely. After being beyond tired of these extra 30lbs I've managed to gain, I saw HCf on my fb feed. They were running a 21 day fitness challenge. On a whim, I decided to go to the meeting and be ready with all of my questions(and excuses, I guess) to see if I would be a good fit for this program. I have a history of surgery that doesn't allow me to move the way I once did. I had an accident in October hurting my knee and back AND I don't eat chicken!! So believe me,, my guns were loaded to find anyway from the physical movements to the diet portion, to NOT, be able to do this. "Not to worry, you are not the only one!" I was told. So after some thought, I signed up and I was on my way! It was exciting actually! I felt like I was going to my first day if school!π the fb page was one of the best things that this program allows you to be a part of. The witty banter, memes, support from the same group of people you're working out with. Struggle isn't really the appropriate word here, because this plan is not really a struggle at all! When your feeding your family pizza, work meetings with donuts, not attending 'wine Wednesdays' and pouting outloud about itπ group support is right there to cheer you on!The workouts: I went in knowing full well I was going to have 'alternative' exercises due to my condition. I NEVER felt left out, or stupid, or like the alternatives were any easier. Just a different approach to a movement. Let's not get that twisted! Walking in to the first class, I was nervous of course. Am I going to look fat, stupid, weak, etc. And low and behold, ALL WALKS OF LIFE were in the same room, all feeling the same way. Funny how we all perceive things differently, isn't it? At warm up, I thought WTH did I get myself into? By classes end, I was ready to face the world, air boxing like Rocky! The workouts are different and keep you burning calories for hours and days later than a traditional workout. It is still hard to wrap my head around the fact that I don't have to workout every single day to see a result. I was working out 4-5 days a wk at LA Fitness with not 1oz lost for more than a year! I'm the great maintainer, I thought! Old age has finally kicked in... next step, acceptance of my middle aged body, sighπ§ I have managed to 'maintain' these 30lbs steadily for all this timeπ whoopee... lucky me! So, where did my money go you ask?? Down the damn drain, is where! Do you know, that after doing the free 21 day fitness challenge at HCF, I've eaten more food than I could actually endure, I worked out 3 days a week and I successfully lost 12lbs and 1.9% body fat in 21 DAYS!! Incredible! It takes me longer to spring clean my house then it did to do this challenge. I have lost more weight than I have in 2 years, on my own. I guess it just goes to show ya, everyone could use a little professional boost. The coaches are great, I cannot say that enough. The location is clean, they have organized workouts, offer childcare, and they run in a timely fashion. What a group of positively great folks, I now have the pleasure of knowing! This is not just a gym,.. its a community. My hat goes off to owner Ben(who did the challenge with us!) coach Mike, coach Jessica, and staff for putting this program together. In this new world we live in everyone is out for what seems like blood, HCF could have easily ripped us off, they could have lied about the diet, they could have manipulated weigh in numbers, and most of us would have been happy with HALF of the weight loss numbers we were getting! HCF actually wants to show you that their program works. No strings attached, no showing off, no gimmicks and No 'if you don't join' shenanigans. They ACTUALLY truly enjoy what they do for a living and it shows whole heartedly! HONESTY is an amazing thing! I will leave this challenge not just happily 12lbs lighter, but more full of knowledge, self esteem, physical strength, pride, encouragement to continue to my goal, a great experience, and more friends than I can count! Amazing experience. Great coaches that care, are dedicated and invested in what they do. In a room full of people, you are still made feel like u are getting individualized training. Every class is filled with positive energy, motivation to push yourself further and exuberance. You are in competition with no one but yourself. You are greeted by name, workouts are adjusted to your abilities and are guided through the workouts. This speaks volumes on the great efforts the coaches put into their customer service and keeping safety first. The sense of community and support from both coaches and fellow trainers exceeded my expectations. Would definitely recommend it. You won't regret it and will see results. HCF ROCKS!

The coaches here are awesome and totally motivating. They're very inclusive with modifications if you need them and they will never talk down to you, they'll only build you up. Working out as a team, with others cheering you on with encouragement is such a great feeling. The trainers are great! I've learned so much from them. They take the time to listen and help. Activities can be adjusted to your ability, but as you gain strength and confidence you'll be able to exceed your expectations!
Morning, afternoon and evening classes, with 3 strategically placed locations, AND no 2 classes are the same. I would recommend STF to anyone!

Hackettstown Cross Fit is awesome! I started going here in April, 2016. My plan was to just try out a 3-4 month membership. I was not too sure it would fill my needs, but figured it would be a nice change from my normal gym routine. Turns out I was way wrong. The workouts are fun, challenging, and constantly varied. The people there are great, and I am not just talking about the Coaches, they are great, but the members are very nice too. It really feels like a good community where everyone is helpful and friendly.
The workouts run about an hour. They include bodyweight exercises, dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells, rowing machine, running, bars for pull-ups, etc. Normally there is some stretching and foam rolling, then a warm up, then the WOD (Workout of the Day) and sometimes we are rewarded with Chocolate Milk. And not the kind you drink, the kind that means a few minutes of something at high intensity.
If you search for Cross Fit on the web you find some pretty intense pics and videos. People are throwing around a lot of weight. It can be intimidating. But it turns out there are scaled versions of everything. The Coaches will show you other techniques or exercises, or you can use a lighter, or heavier, weight and before you know it you are pushing around some heavy weight and doing exercises you would never have thought you could do just a few months earlier.
One thing I really like about HCF is the expertise of the Coaches. I came into this from a few years of exercising on my own at local gyms. Turns out I picked up some bad habits and my form was lacking on many exercises. The Coaches are always walking around watching to make sure you are using the proper form. This is important to prevent injuries, but also proper form gets the desired results for each exercise.
The Coaches are also a wealth of knowledge on different exercises, eating habits, stretching, etc. I am usually quick to see an exercise, movement, or flexibility issue that I may have. I then try to work on improving it. I am regularly asking Coach Jess or Coach Mike for ways to improve at something. They both have spent a good bit of time getting me over some hurdles, like double-unders and muscle-ups. Two exercises that I just could not perform. But that has changed and now I can do both at will.
One thing that I find quite different here is that I actually look forward to going each day. Before I would go to the gym because you need to go at least three days a week and work out. Now I find myself getting ready the night before if I need to take an early class, or scheduling my appointments so I make sure I can get to HCF for an evening class.
It has been a long time since I have been excited about working out. It is no longer something I feel I have to do, it is something I want to do. I no longer have time issues where I cannot get to the gym because when you enjoy it, you make sure you can fit it in.
My results have been quite good. I am much stronger in every exercise. I can do more of them, use heavier weights, and do them at a faster pace. I started with a body weight of 222 lbs and a body fat percentage that floated around the mid 20's. As of this morning I now weigh 199.5 lbs and my body fat percentage is in the teens.
One of the reasons I was a bit skeptical about joining was because it looked like a young persons sport. I am 53 years old and was not sure how well I would be able to perform there. Turns out I do pretty well. And so do most of the people there that are quite a bit older than I am. So do not let your age be a factor, this is very well suited for everyone.
Give it a try. You might be pleasantly surprised when you realize how much you can do with proper coaching.

Love HCF. Moved to the area about 3 years ago and needed to find a gym. I heard about Crossfit and decided to give it a try. I knew from the first day it was for me--I love the workout variety and intensity. What I didn't know at the beginning was how wonderful the coaches and community would be. Everyone is so encouraging no matter what your level is, and each class has people ranging from just starting out to those with amazing skills. It just works, largely due to the coaches! They take the time to get everyone warmed up and teach each skill every day. They help with form, modify the workout if you have a limitation or injury, all the while pushing you to do your best. I cannot recommend it enough! If you are on the fence--no matter what your current fitness level is--give it a try, you won't regret it!

Not your typical gym or what I expected! Coming from no workout or weight lifting experience the coaches were very informative and patient. No need to be concerned with your physical limitations. Custom or scaled movements are always an option to get in a good workout. Family friendly environment, without any huge egos running around. This is a positive, and motivating place to work on any fitness goals! Strength to nutrition... Coaches are friendly and helpfu! Lots of class times available. Great group of people! Been a member for over a year now, happy I took the plunge!

Since joining HCF last June, I feel better than I have felt in a very very long time. I have lost weight and inches on my belt size :-). But the main reason why I would tell someone to try HCF is that the coaches really care about you and constantly help you...I mean every day every exercise. They make a daily plan for each class so you do not have to think about what you need to do, unlike going to a regular gym.
The other part is that the people who belong to HCF are all good people and we all pull for each other. This is not a place where you are on your own or that you feel youβre on your own. If you go through the 101 class you will know you made the right choice.
