Strong Girl Revolution has truly been a game changer for me. I joined in May 2025, and in just a few months I can already feel myself getting stronger. The workouts are challenging in the best way, and Trainer and owner Nancy has been incredible—encouraging, knowledgeable, and always focused on helping me make steady, sustainable progress. I appreciate the supportive environment, the app with workouts I can do on my own, and the focus on real strength. So grateful I found this gym!

I found SGR on Instagram years ago when it was a bunch of women in a garage and sadly was too intimidated and uncomfortable to do more than watch. I finally took the plunge in May of 2023 and haven't looked back. Nancy makes me feel cared about, comfortable, valued, seen, and heard. She will adjust any workout to meet your specific needs, especially if you are dealing with or rehabbing from an injury. The other Strong Girls are friendly, supportive, and encouraging. I feel better than I've felt in years, am stronger than I've been in years, and have made new friends as a bonus!!! I can not recommend Nancy and Strong Girl Revolution enough!!!

I go here about 1-3 times a week for my strength training and workouts and Nancy is absolutely amazing! I love being able to go to the gym and feel safe and heard. I recommend Strong Girl Revolution if you want to become stronger and workout in a way thats best for you!

I've been training with Nancy for a year now. I spotted StrongGirl Revolution one day as I was going into my hair salon for an appointment in the same shopping center. I eagerly checked out her website, read reviews and built up the courage to reach out. I had not worked out consistently in over 5 years and diving into something new was always a gamble. Additionally, as a woman, finding a gym that is a good fit is not easy and can become discouraging after a few failed attempts.
Needless to say, booking with Nancy was one of the best decisions I made for myself. From day one, my experience has been nothing short of transformational, both mentally and physically. Nancy cares about her clients and cultivates a program that is fun, welcoming, inclusive and challenging. She is patient, kind, flexible, encouraging and best of all--hilarious! Nancy's pricing is extremely reasonable compared to other trainers in the area, which makes her practice more accessible to the community. She also has an Open Gym sign up, where you can come in and complete a workout on a non-scheduled training day. The women I work out with are equally wonderful and we have a great time. Nancy creates monthly challenges that focus on different techniques (i.e., dead lifting, pull ups) and the weekly training sessions are diversified so you are never bored and are always working on new areas for improvement. Nancy also sends out a monthly e-newsletter with at home workouts and upcoming events at StrongGirl. There are even opportunities to meet up outside of class for holiday parties, Galentine's Day celebrations, fundraisers, and other events such as participating in the Mud Run. What is better than feeling better about yourself, getting stronger, and spending time with amazing people?
I regret not finding Nancy sooner. I never saw myself committed to a weight-training/ strength training based program. I would not by any means describe myself as an athletic/in shape/ fitness person. However, it was the best decision I've made in my fitness journey and I've gotten WAY more out of training with Nancy than with other programs, such as cardio boot camps. Going to training every week has become a form of investing in myself and self-care. If you are reading this review, do yourself a favor and don't sit on the decision to get your body moving or trying something new. You are stronger and capable of more than you realize! So thankful to be working at this gym with Nancy!!! At 58 years old, I broke my leg in 2 places and never thought I would be strong enough to do my stairs again!! Not only am I doing my stairs, I’ve become stronger than ever. Nancy works very carefully and slowly, helping to build strength in the whole body.

I have been training with Nancy for over a year, and I could not be more thankful I found her! Since starting my journey with Stronggirl I have learned to find JOY in exercise. The real bonus is gaining a community of women who empower and support me. I couldn’t recommend Stronggirl Revolution enough!

I’ve been going to SGR for four years. I love it! Nancy is a down to earth, strait forward trainer. She takes her time to teach clients correct form while exercising, so they don’t suffer from injury. She doesn’t push sales and she doesn’t push clean eating habits onto her clients.
The atmosphere is great. There’s nice equipment - stuff you won’t fine in chain gyms. I love the trap bar! If you don’t know what a trap bar is Google it! Nancy always plays the best music.
I’ve made a lot of friends working out at SGR. We love to go out to dinners and take day trips to Philly and the Poconos. Nancy is not only a great trainer, but she is also a great friend! :)

I’ve been training with Nancy for 6 years - she’s the best! She encourages me to challenge myself and has built up my confidence to try things I never thought possible, like the Spartan Race and pull-ups. The StrongGirl gym is my happy place!

I feel fortunate to be a part of the Strong Girl Revolution community. Training with Nancy is more than physical improvement, it's whole system improvement that's obtained through support, motivation and engagement. The focus on women's physiology is special and so refreshing! It's a safe, comfortable, fun environment where you'll maximize your potential and build upon your already strong and beautiful body. I have always DREADED fitness classes, but I actually look forward to Nancy’s classes! She focuses on functional fitness rather than making you feel like you’re going to die by the end. I would recommend her classes to anyone looking for a good workout in a super inclusive environment!

Very supportive environment! What sets Nancy above many other trainers is she listens to what your goals are and meets you where you are. She will challenge you, but she will not overface you or get you injured—quite the opposite, her program is grounded in injury prevention.
I love the focus on function and mobility, and that women from all backgrounds, shapes and sizes, and all fitness levels are welcome to train in a safe space. Nancy is always learning and growing through continuing education and is so excited to share what she learns with her clients.
