I am a month new to crossfit and glad that I found this place.
From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and supported by everyone, regardless of my level of fitness or experience. Rosie, Jay and all the other coaches have been extremly encouraging and helpful in my journey of being more consistent with my workouts. I found my way to Submit 2 Fitness in fall of 2021 because I needed a change in my fitness routine. A friend had suggested I look at CrossFit, but I always thought that was comical because I wasn’t one of those girls who jumped over buildings or picked up small cars. That journey led me to Coach Rosie and Coach Jay, who have been amazing and have revolutionized the way I look at my workout. I’ve had multiple injuries and surgeries over the course of my lifetime and have very bad knees. I never feel like I don’t get in an amazing workout because Rosie and Jay are so knowledgeable about muscle groups and how to make them stronger to support joints that they’ve been able to modify certain moves within our daily routines so that I can still get that full experience without damaging anything. They’re thoughtful, encouraging and really like family. I was going through a very tough time when I found them and they’ve helped me get through, I highly suggest you check them out. It is worth every bit of the investment in yourself. If you were ever afraid to do so before give it a shot during their holiday sale!

I was so impressed with this gym-I’ve been doing Crossfit for many years, and I’ve been to a lot of CrossFit gyms all over the world.
I travel a lot for work and I dropped by to see if they would let me get in a workout.
they were extremely welcoming and very friendly. Jay and Rosie are awesome.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! I was looking for a personal trainer for a long time. It’s hard to find someone that works with you to reach the goal you want. I instantly connected with Jay and Rosie. They are not your traditional scary trainers. Yea they look like trainers and are very fit but they made a training plan that I was comfortable with and still managed to push me to get me to get even more out of this training than I thought I would! I’m so surprised at the progress I’ve made. They are also so flexible with scheduling, which is a great plus! Last thing I want to add is that they make working out fun. I am never dreading going to the gym, which for me and I’m sure for others is hard to find! Thank you Jay and Rosie!

PS - the way Jay and Rosie work out the class and training schedules, the gym is never packed. There’s always enough space!

You’re not just joining a gym, you’re joining a community and a family of like-minded people, who push each other through every single work out and encourage you to push yourself beyond your own limits. Last year I had opportunity to participate in my first jersey girl triathlon. I owe that to coach Rosie, she’s amazing!!! We scheduled swimming lessons outside of our workouts and pushed each other along with many other women in our gym to do the same. We collectively came together as a group and challenged ourselves and each other during the event. Throughout this pandemic submit to fitness has developed many innovational ways of keeping us active, such as virtual classes and personal training. I feel safe walking into the gym as they follow a strict max occupancy per class, offer covid screenings and have a great sanitizing protocol after each workout ! Check them out ! Update: After moving from NJ to the Bronx I am happy to say that this amazing Company, Submit 2 Fitness offers the best Live Virtual Classes!! You can train and get your sweat on with a Live Class!! The Best Coaches are still there with you guiding you through every move and proper technique!! With this current situation "Pandemic" you can work out safely at home with zero excuses!!
Their Fitness facility is TOP NOTCH & SUPER SAFE AS WELL!! State of the art air filtrations system and sanitizing is Priority!!!!

My 7 year old daughter is going to youth gym sessions for nearly 6 months. Her confidence levels, her flexibility and interest on knowing what is healthy food went up. Sessions are designed with fitness and fun games. Coaches are very well organized and push to bring the best out of every one. She is enthusiastic to go and never want to miss a class. Joining Submit2fitness changed my life in many ways. I entered the doors with doubt, misconceptions, and apprehension. I underwent a physical fitness assessment that provided me awareness in areas such as endurance, stamina, strength, and mobility. Coach Rosie was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. I was able to observe a class. I loved the energy, the support, music and versatility within the WOD. I began causally taking to Javier, the owner. He made me feel as if I already belonged. No selling. Just getting to know me. It was a no brainer. I committed and never looked back. I went from being a member to being part of the staff/family and becoming a coach.

S2F is one of the best fitness facilities around today! The work outs are challenging and diverse, the coaches push you to your limits and beyond, they care about EVERYONE'S progress, and the teamwork environment is unlike no other. Many people who work out on their own in your traditional gym take for granted the extra motivational push you get from working out with others who have similar goals, but when you're surrounded by like minded people the possibilities are endless. I have been a member for a year and I love this place. At first , I was intimidated to do CrossFit because I am obese and not very strong. Once I started training here, the coaches scaled back the workouts for me. As time went on, I started losing weight, getting stronger and gained a lot of confidence. Submit2Fitness is not just a place to work out and get strong, it's also a family. I have been physically active and worked out all my life - from soccer to dance to yoga to running, but I can honestly say that I have never felt stronger. The S2F staff always make you feel motivated to come back and give it your best. I have never felt so eager to work out and that's due to the high-energy and supportive environment that is provided by both staff and members. You will never feel discouraged, intimidated or embarrassed, no matter what level of fitness you're at. The trainers are always available to guide you and make sure you get the most out of your workout.
