In regard to Taekwondo Elite ... just WOW!!! Now, I am wondering how I ever lived with my past physical capabilities and mindset. Personally, I've never been an athletic person, yet, like how a bird yearns for the boundless sky, or how a dog yearns for the love and companionship of its owner, I always yearned for just a little better body and some more discipline. Then, an opportunity presented itself forth, in the form of my good father irking me to join martial arts one day. On my first day, due to my timid nature, naturally, I was shy, but after a few minutes in the free trial class, I knew this was a good place to train. Despite my previous images of bashful, tough martial artists, everyone was kind and welcoming. I was afraid of the class since I started at 13 years old, and most at my age already started at a young age, yet no judging was sentenced onto me. It felt like a new home; I didn't feel like I had to please others, and all I wanted to do was improve my skills and discipline. Our master, whom I am unafraid to say is probably one of the best in the region, teaches us core disciplines and values that last unto adulthood. It helps us gain confidence that I never had. When I started, I never would've expected how useful this class would be. Before, when I spread my legs and reached for my toes, my hands barely couldn't touch them. Now, My head goes under my knees and both my hand touch the back of my foot when stretching. I could only kick up to chest height, now, it goes half a foot above my head. In general, it has improved the comfort in everyday movement. Not to mention, speed, agility and especially reflexes have improved. Anyone can join, even adults just starting out are welcomed and enrich themselves in the benefits. Even a common gymbro should do this class. Overall, this class has been fully integrated into my life and the physical and mental benefits are innumerable.

I would like to inform anyone to make sure they get the right information all necessary information before enrolling their child because the owner did not explain it was a contract for 12 months and the email to cancel the subscription was not allowed meanwhile their billing department did explain my email to them for cancellation is possible by paying a month or two.

The owner only want easy and cheap money and does not mind not giving clients the right information before subscribing. There are a lots of Taekwondo trainings in Hillsborough/Somerset county and will edge everyone to check elsewhere before enrolling here.
Another thing that man said and I will never forget was making a statement that unless your child is ….. unfortunately I cannot even say it but I will ask him NEVER to say any negative thing about an innocent child all because he want a cheap and easy money. His negative words about a child is very wrong an can hold him responsible for that.

The owner never gave the information about it being on contract etc has he is saying also the membership was not cancelled after a month,no one reached out to me to have it resolved etc I was called straight by the credit collections. My son has been training with Master Arkadiy at TK Elite for nearly 5 years now. We've had a great experience and would highly recommend to all. Tae kwon do is the one activity our son does that gives back the most in terms of his development and in opportunities for him to be challenged in new ways.

Master Arkadiy cultivates a friendly atmosphere while still focusing on discipline, helping the younger kids to increase their concentration levels, focus and respect. There is also a focus on growth mindset and helping each kid be the best that they can be, whatever their background, strengths or weaknesses. At black belt level there is a mix of kids of different ages and levels and you can see their commitment to getting better individually, but they also help each other out and cheer each other on. This is great to see but also another product of their training and the atmosphere in the studio.

Finally, TK has provided opportunities for my son to compete 1:1 in sparring with others at TK Elite and from across the state. This was a little terrifying at first as a parent but my son enjoyed it from the beginning and it has led to him facing and overcoming adversities that he would not otherwise experience, which has had a dramatic effect on his growth and confidence.

I tried out a class at Taekwondo Elite after an 8-year break from martial arts. If it were possible for me to give NO STARS I would. I paid for months of classes and followed my contract only to be told that due to circumstances beyond their control they could not provide services and I'm out of the thousands spent. They are unresponsive and not honest business people. Furthermore, be sure that they don't try to enroll you into additional years of contract with them by checking the box for automatic renewal. There is nothing elite about this company. Save yourself the headache and your money. I asked for my account to be frozen and was told it was not possible. Both of my kids have been going to Taekwondo Elite since they were 4 years old. Now over 5 years later we have one that earned a black belt and one that has earned red double stripe. I have introduced several sports to my children including: soccer, swimming, baseball, football and even dance. They have chosen to stick with taekwondo.
Master Arkadiy does not only teach kicks and punches but about respect and curtesy. If you child is not respecting their teachers in school or behaving at home they will not advance to the next belt. Master Arkadiy will sit down with your child and make sure that they know and practice the tenets of Taekwondo. In addition kids will learn about hard work and perseverance for archiving goals and that there is always room for self-improvement. I have been with Master Arkadiy and instructor Amanda for almost two years. It is a totally different level of black belt experience. I have learned to be disciplined and respectful. At the same time, I have gained a lot of confidence through tournaments and other competitions. I have been attending these Taekwondo classes for many years. I have watched my 12 yr old grand daughter achieve her Black Belt - I even wrote a poem about her success, due entirely to the dedication of her teachers. Now I am watching her younger sister train and it amazes me to see how well the instructors take care of these young children, helping them to learn this martial arts.
I live in India and visit occasionally, and this time I have been most interested to follow what happens in the gym, interactions of students with teachers, effects of the training. This is because I also run a Charity school and was researching starting a Taekwondo class for the students. I first to my first class at TKD elite about 7 years ago when I was convinced to try out Taekwondo by a friend. I stayed for all of that time, and then enrolled my son when he was ready, because Master Arkadiy and his high quality, friendly instructors make it a place to which you want to come back. Every class is different from the next. Master Arkadiy, a two state TKD champion in his own rite, masterfully teaches a class of multiple skill levels so that everyone is challenged, and everyone want to continue achieving more with each class. With my son, he is a caring, encouraging instructor. I see my son improve a little bit with every class. With the older kids and the adults, he knows exactly how much to push each student to help them achieve his or her goals. Underpinning his entire teaching philosophy are the virtues of honor and respect, respect for your instructors, your fellow students and yourself. Most importantly, that respect is always reciprocated by Master Arkadiy and his instructors. If you are considering trying out Taekwondo, you should check out Taekwondo Elite. My son has been with Master Akardiy for over 5 years while my husband started about three years ago and my daughter this year. We have been part of the family since the start and are always learning here. From TKD to Krav Maga, Master never disappoints on his learning and technique teaching. Not only is he experienced, but he has a way of teaching kids and helping even special needs kids learn, grow, and have fun. We have never even considered another school; hopefully we'll never have to. Always a great time with great classmates here.

Taekwondo Elite is a great place for beginners, family and advanced students. First my daughter and son started here in the Child & Peewee program. They seemed to be loving it. The instructors were very good with children, and focused on every aspect including motivation, technique, hard work and right attitude. They cover forms and sparring on different days of the week.

In the meantime, I was looking for a fitness activity that would help me with my health and well-being goals. So I decided to join in the adult class. This is a perhaps one of the best decision I made! Class location and adult class timings are so convenient and rewarding that I am able to stick with the program. My strength and endurance has vastly improved over the past five months, although I have a long way to go. For the more advanced adults they also offer more intense Kickboxing and Karv Maga classes.

Our whole family (adults and kids) attends and loves Taekwondo Elite. They are great at teaching proper technique and encouraging you to work to the best of your ability. I also love that they teach respect, perseverance, and hard work, not just in Taekwondo, but at home and in school and in life, as well. It's also great that when there's a lot of students, there are often multiple teachers to work on smaller groups or individuals when needed.

TKD Elite has a lot of great programs that fit your needs and family schedule. My son and I really enjoy it. Taekwondo classes help my son (who is 4 years old) with discipline and self-control. Every instructor invests personally into your child and you. They always rotate between each other and always use different styles to engage you and build concentration. Schedule is planned so well for different ages and groups that you always get attention. I enjoy my Kickboxing in the evening and my son loves Taekwondo after daycare.
I travelled on business while my son had his first test for the belt. Master Arkadiy recorded video and shared it with me. I saved a special moment for my son even being away. Thank you, TKD Elite, for all you do! You are special to us!

If there is a place I like to be this is it...

Albeit this was my first venture into Martial Arts, I will say I feel I made that jump with the best possible place. Although Taekwondo Elite teaches Taekwondo, it feels more like a Taekwondo community.

Often I would go to the gym several days a week but that became a repetitious experience. I now spend several hours per week at TKD Elite because it is a great workout with a very social experience. I feel like I am hanging out with friends who also enjoy the TKD Elite experience who are exhausted from the vigorous workouts from the various classes.

Master Arkadiy brings a different feel to the class, which provides for different levels of focus around technique, which is especially good because not everyone learns the same way.

TKD Elite is a respectful, friendly, and knowledgeable community where all the instructors enjoy teaching Taekwondo and it shows. I am very proud to be going here and would highly recommend it!

Great family oriented atmosphere, Master Arkadiy and the rest of the instructors are wonderful working with the kids. They offer a solid curriculum were your child will actually learn and build on those learned skills. They have multiple classes during the week that fit with my work schedule. They also offer other classes like kickboxing, Muay Thai and krav maga. I attend kickboxing and is a great and complete workout. I highly recommend it!!

The teachers are very good, and Master Arkadiy has an almost magical way with the kids - he is absolutely the perfect "picture" of martial arts discipline, but exudes a genuine warmth to all the children all at the same time.

They are also very accommodating when I have had some schedule mishaps. The place is not fancy, but I'd rather have a great school with good teachers and excellent policies then fancy!

Particularly good is that the Pee Wee classes for the youngest kids (with no attention spans) are two separate half hour classes per week, and you have 3 different sessions to choose from... as a working mom (who doesn't get to see her kids at most of their activities) I really appreciated getting to take my son on some Saturdays, and I didn't even have to commit in advance!
