The Bar Method is a boutique fitness studio offering barre classes for students of all levels. The signature method uses your own body weight, the ballet barre and a few props to create a transformative workout that results in long, lean sculpted muscles. Not only does it reshape your entire body, but it allows you to channel your inner strength and leave class feeling strong, confident and poised. Highly-trained instructors customize the exercises to ensure they are safe and effective for any age and every body, including modifications for pregnant women and students with injuries. Our staff and community are here to support you from the moment you walk through the door.

Owner and instructor of the class are unprofessional. No customer service. Instructor tried to humiliate me. The owner and instructor are friends so the owner automatically sides w the instructor. This is the only Pilates/barre place where I was made to feel unwelcomed. There are much better Pilates/barre studios out there where they encourage kindness, professionalism and growth.

I absolutely love the Bar Method! All of the instructors are so friendly and welcoming. They are very knowledgable and have great energy when they teach class which makes you want to come back! I actually look forward to working out again...So happy to be a part of this community!

I took my very first barre class at The Bar Method and absolutely loved it! From the moment I walked in, everyone was so welcoming and supportive. The trainer took the time to walk me through each movement and made me feel really comfortable even though I was new. Such a positive and encouraging environment — I can’t wait to go back!

Great studio! The studio beautiful, clean and conveniently located. The classes are a great workout, clearly explained, provide options, and pack a lot into a 45 minute class. The instructors are knowledgeable and welcoming and take the time to make sure every person is doing the moves correctly to not injure themselves and to get the most out of their workout. Highly recommend!

First time going after my wife had gone a few times, and wow am I impressed. I used to tease her saying “how hard can it be!?” and today my legs and glutes found out. Great workout, great pace, and the instructor was super helpful and nice. Super clean, great vibe, really cool location. I’ll definitely be going back for sure!!

I love Bar Method Holmdel! It is located in Bell Works. Super clean, the instructors are professional, entertaining, and know their stuff. The moves are purposeful and explained in simple terms so I get the most out of my workout. Came here with a lumbar injury and I am completely recovered! Feel strong and beautiful. Highly recommend!

Was incredibly disappointed with the treatment I received at this studio. As a member of other bare and Pilates locations this wasn’t what I expected when trying to start a new studio. Started with a regular class. Enjoyed it and met a new instructor while taking the class. Was excited to take one of her classes as well. Enjoyed it better than the first class I took. I am athletic and liked the challenge of move. Came for my third class which again was a move class with the same instructor. I was greeted when I walked in with a very rude are you aware this is a move class, it’s very different and a faster paced than your use to. A weird stare and she completely made me feel uncomfortable. I stayed and enjoyed the class yet I truly wish I was given the respect and encouragement I deserved. As the instructor Meghan is fantastic, yet the rude and unwelcomed comment I received from the woman at the front desk I will not be returning or joining as a member.

The staff at Bar Method Holmdel is "Bar None" Every one of the instructors is knowledgeable, personable, highly motivating and truly cares about the students. It's very impressive that they all know your name on day one and every day beyond, even if you have never taken a class with them. The studio is very clean and welcoming.
