The Bar Method Westfield is a boutique fitness studio offering barre classes for students of all levels. The signature method uses your own body weight, the ballet barre and a few props to create a transformative workout that results in long, lean sculpted muscles. Not only does it reshape your entire body, but it allows you to channel your inner strength and leave class feeling strong, confident and poised. Highly-trained instructors customize the exercises to ensure they are safe and effective for any age and every body, including modifications for pregnant women and students with injuries. Our staff and community are here to support you from the moment you walk through the door.

Absolutely LOVE bar method in Westfield, thoroughly enjoy every single class and instructor, in particular Carolina and Alyssa. Just wish they had more 1 hour long classes at noon or evenings on week days...

I recently switched to this studio and I am very happy with my decision. I have been doing Bar Method since the end of 2012. All the teachers here are wonderful, and I get a consistently great workout. I particularly love strength classes and have seen the changes in my body adding progressive weight to the routines. This is a great place with really great people!

I truly found my second home at The Bar Method in Westfield. As someone who has never enjoyed working out or stuck with any fitness routine, I never imagined I’d actually look forward to going to a workout class, but this place changed that completely.

From the moment I stepped through the doors, I felt welcomed, supported, and completely free of judgment. The community here is incredibly uplifting, and the instructors are not only knowledgeable but genuinely invested in your growth and well-being.

I’ve seen such real progress in my strength, confidence, and mindset. Every time I come, I leave feeling stronger, not just physically, but mentally too.

I’ll admit I’m not a huge fan of working out. So when a friend asked me to take a Bar Method class a few years back, I figured, why not? But after one class, I was hooked. The first thing I loved was the workout itself. It’s challenging but never the same, so I’m never bored. You work muscles you never even knew you had. My truly favorite thing about Bar Method are the instructors. To ensure proper form, they will make corrections or move your body. They never push you if it’s too much and cheer you on when you accomplish your goals- even when you are about ready to give up during those brutal reverse push ups. But the instructors are what kept me going. They are encouraging, helpful, and just truly wonderful women who make Bar feel like home.

I attended my first class at The Bar Method today and was blown away by the friendliness of the staff AND other workout go-ers, the cleanliness, and overall vibe of the class. I signed up for a 2 month commitment as of now, and I am already so excited to book as many classes as I can. The class itself (bar method express) with Jackie was fast paced but still felt like I could keep up and it challenged me. Looking forward to trying all the classes they have to offer.

Obsessed. I normally do high intensity circuit training but I wanted to switch up my workout routine. What a humbling experience. The instructors are so motivating and I appreciate how they come around the room and fix your form. They make a point of knowing everyone's names also. Studio is beautiful. Childcare available also. I'm so excited to be part of this community!

Nice space and even better people. They really meet you where you are at (unless you want to go to infinite which some instructors can take you there if you're willing to put in the time). I’ve had many up and downs with my fitness journey, but I feel comfortable coming to the studio no matter where that may be. The studio has a very family/friendly vibe however they are professional when it comes to teaching and boundaries. It’s a hidden gem until you personally experience it for yourself.

I had been doing Yoga for years “to help my lower back”... I was in constant pain ( have a bulging disc)
I started Bar and within a week, my pain was almost gone. I took Bar 5 days a week for a month and a half before I went on vacation. My back felt amazing! I was away and was unable to take class for a month and back pain came back. Still not convinced , I rejoined and back pain disappeared. Now I’m convinced that the Bar Method, the constant tweaking is exactly what I need to heal!

Great workout and great instructors who are well trained and really care. I came to barre method having some chronic ailments and was told by a friend that the instructors constantly correct your form. She was right! No matter how long you’ve been attending classes, the instructors are tweaking your form and suggesting modifications so injuries don’t occur. It’s a total body workout and I feel my body getting stronger. Thanks to all!

I highly recommend Bar Method to anyone who is expecting! I unfortunately did not join this studio until I was 22 weeks pregnant which was right after my doctor mentioned exercising more than just walking to help with the overall pregnancy. As soon as I walked out of my first class I knew that this was a studio I wanted to be apart of. The instructors have all been great and very knowledgeable when it comes to modifying exercises throughout class and pregnancy. The classes are challenging but low impact for us pregnant mamas! Currently, I’m 34 weeks pregnant and taking 5 classes a week. I can say these class have made me stronger, helped me sleep better at night, increased my energy levels and made my pregnancy easier and more enjoyable. My only regret is that I didn’t join this studio sooner!

I have been taking classes at The Bar Method for the past three weeks, and I love them! Every teacher has done a great job of demonstrating the specific moves, helping me do them correctly, and providing everyone with a great workout. I am amazed at the fact that every instructor seems to know everyone's names! We moved to Westfield from NYC almost two years ago and I was immediately on the hunt for a barre workout that challenged me the way some of the studios in the city do. I tried another offering in town and was underwhelmed. Enter Bar Method (Westfield)...some girlfriends dragged me to class last January and the rest is history. Bar Method is a fun, challenging, inspiring place. The instructors are thoughtful and work with intention. Clients are treated well and the Westfield studio embodies the art of “A Community”! I've been attending Bar classes in Westfield for the past year. Although I have always been active I have never gotten as much out of one activity or class as I do the classes at The Bar Method. The workout is challenging ( yet doesn't leave your joints achy) and enjoyable. Both my body and my mind are so grateful for Bar! Each teacher has her own style and they are all so fantastic! Yes, every teacher here is terrific and so nice. Even my teenage daughter commented on how great they are are as teachers and people. There is an emphasis on personal attention and they deliver! P.S The studio always smells great! Go! You will be happy you did!

Fun, uplifting, motivating atmosphere for women. I'm seeing (and feeling!) results and enjoying the hands-on approach of adjustments, and encouragement to do the workout and positions correctly. The owner is funny and personable, and she is there on premises many of the times I go. The other instructors all have their own styles but maintain the same quality of instruction. They offer childcare during some of their classes and it's clean and inviting in the kids room. Definitely will be extending my membership past the first month unlimited deal.

This is like my home away from home. I've been coming to Westfield Bar Method for 3 1/2 years now and I've loved it from the very first class.

The teachers are all wonderful, helpful and make the classes fun. I'm in better shape now than when I was younger. I love the environment. Personal, positive reinforcement, genuine care. The attention to detail, from knowing your name the first day to explaining why we make the corrections so we are working out in a safe, healthy environment.
