Welcome to The Dance Centre! We are a family-owned and operated dance studio and that has been providing nationally accredited dance education to the Toms River community for over 30 years. Our entire staff is committed to creating a positive learning environment where creativity is encouraged and the highest quality of dance education given. We offer ballet (pointe), tap, jazz, floor gymnastics, hip-hop, and musical theater. We would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best education in the industry.

I was nervous making the switch from one school to another. We are thrilled with our first year at the dance centre. Communication is great, I ask a thousand questions and they always get back to me. Rehearsal was smooth. Teachers are great. We are excited for our future with this dance school.

We love dancing here! There's something for all ages. My family has done mommy and me classes, acro, adult ballet, and arial classes. We love all of the teachers that we've met!

There are many dance schools in Toms River and I wasn’t sure where to enroll my 6 and 4 year old kids. After calling a few places, I ended up going with The Dance Centre (even though it is further from where we live) because they were so responsive and welcoming on the phone. I couldn’t be happier with my decision. The teachers are excellent, the facility is state of the art, and they offer a huge range of classes. They use a lot of positive reinforcement with the dancers which makes my kids always want to attend class and overall the school has a happy, family feel. You can tell all the students love being there. Highly recommend TDC!

A professional, yet warm and welcoming, family founded and run business. My daughter is always excited for class and additional events they have had more recently like a Halloween party and an ornament making party. She always says how much fun she has. Also, they have made conscientious and sound decisions during the pandemic that focus on dancer safety and we have been appreciative to have some weekly normalcy these past few years— even when adapting to zoom dance classes. Thank you!

The dance instructors here are friendly and welcoming to those of all abilities and their competition teams are always bringing home awards. My son looks forward to his dance day every week and celebrates it as if it is a party occasion as opposed to a chore or something of the likes, and that right there should tell you how amazing the teambehind The Dance Centre really is. It is most definitely not hard to get lost in the dealing of family surrounding this wonderful place and their beautiful new/modern dance studios.
