Not too long ago I witnessed a man recording another woman January around 2pm and witnessed the whole ordeal. He kicked her tripod and harassed her and it was all recorded with evidence and the staff didn’t do anything. The state of the gym community does not even believe in women (because they believe they’re are lying) even WITH recorded footage and it is very sad to see this gym be that exact case. Commercial gyms take this heavily but sad to see this gym did not. I did a day pass and would not be coming again as I saw how this gym treats women who do not feel safe. Would not reccomend as a woman who gyms solo.

The owner is incredibly kind, friendly and welcoming, and it’s clear he puts a great deal of thought and effort into this gym.
The facility is exceptionally well-maintained, always clean, and consistently being upgraded with new features to enhance the member experience. Great gym for strength training. Simple contract and pricing. Mainly focus on strength training which is why I like it. Gym is spacious and seems to only be improving. Wish more gyms were like this but thankfully its right off 130 so easy access.

Hands down the BEST gym I’ve ever been to! The equipment is always top-notch, and they’re constantly adding new machines to keep things fresh. No matter what your workout style is, they have everything you need. The atmosphere is amazing—clean, welcoming, and full of positive energy.

But what really makes this gym stand out is the owner. You won’t find a more friendly and personable person! They truly care about every member, always taking the time to chat, offer advice, and make sure everyone feels at home. I have been going to KOG for roughly a 18 months now and have been in the expanded gym for about 9 months (Give or take). I have been to dozens of gyms in my time and this gym is my favorite for a couple reasons:

Equipment: This gym is built for all styles of fitness but definitely favors body-building and powerlifting regiments. The machines allow for plenty of variations in lifting, but there are plenty of deadlift platforms, squat racks, and bench set ups that keep patrons from having to wait. There is also ample cardio equipment but lifting makes up the majority of the gym. The owner is constantly looking towards making the area better, and through my time I have seen the gym space double, and new equipment added. Machines will go down, and the owner is quick to work on getting any downed machines back up

Location: Being off 130 and being located in a major shopping center means parking has never been an issue to me. I have never seen the parking lot so filled that I had to leave.

Value: I wont lie, of the gyms I have been to this is more expensive then your standard "cookie cutter" gym. But that is because it is not a cookie cutter gym. You will spend more than you would for Planet Fitness, Edge, Crunch, but that value is made up in the variety and quality of equipment, and the atmosphere.

Atmosphere: This gym has a very "serious" atmosphere while maintaining a very friendly environment, the KOG team that stand the desk always great you and ask how you are or what you are working on. The patrons in my experience have all been friendly and helpful and at this point I know many of the other lifters by name from friendly encounters over the past 18 months. You can expect to see tripods and cameras set up, many of the patrons have trainers and they video their work-outs for review and recording purposes, I have never seen this cause any issue. Lastly, the owner views his gym members as his family, he is active on social media and shares his members successes on his gyms page, he takes a great deal of pride in what he has made and for good reason, and that is reflected in his members, 99% of who wear the KOG merchandise which is well made and fair priced.

So if you have read all that and you are still on the fence, they do day passes and you can come down and give it a look. That's what I did and I do not plan on leaving.

I’ve been going to King of games for over two years now and despite what it may seem the community at King Of gains it’s very nice and uplifting The powerlifting set up couldn’t be better and the organization of the gym is perfect And as a high school athlete, it’s great to have access to the mats .the staff has always been very kind and helpful.

On January 18th at 2:36pm I was harassed by another member at this gym (I have it on my camera since I record my workouts). This member was not working out, this member was there to only record another member. This member got mad and stood in front of my camera blocking me from completing my exercise. Next thing you know this member kicked my tripod with my phone attached to it and walked away. I am a female getting harassed by a grown man who is twice my size and mind you isn’t even working out. I told the staff up front about the situation and that I don’t feel comfortable with him being in the same facility as me since now I feel threatened. They couldn’t resolve anything but they offered me a protein muffin…..How could I be comfortable in a gym that supports that type of behavior? If it was any other gym they would have removed that member immediately , this was unacceptable behavior and bad business. Every action has its consequences and this gym didn’t seem to care about what I just experienced, and that was a violation of the act of negligence.

I’ve been lifting since my freshman year of highschool and ever since graduating I really missed the atmosphere of a varsity weightroom. A group of hardworking individuals working to reach common goals. It took me years to finally find this environement once again in a gym. King of Gains is the perfect gym for a disciplined individual that wants to take their health and fitness seriously. I am happy to say that I have found the place that I feel most at home and will continue to strive toward my goals in the coming future. Nice aesthetic but overpriced for the amount of space you get. Too small. Also, I had issues canceling my membership. I was charged twice after telling them I’d like to cancel, kept being told it was being taken care of and it wasn’t. I had a bad experience but that was my own. Give it a try I guess.

I’m used to commercial gyms but wanted to give this gym a try since it offers day passes. The worker up front was super nice, very informative. Lots of different machines and equipments I never got to try or even seen in my life. Had honestly such a good workout that I walked out the gym trembling LOOOOOL.

Music is loud but I think it’s a good thing for someone who forgot to wear their headphones/earbuds since the music is enjoyable.

Since I am new to the gym, 2 of the gym-goers were really nice and helped me out since they knew I was struggling.

The people are so nice. I was super intimidated as this is more of a bodybuilding gym rather than a commercial one, but people were so lovely and nice.

I would go here again. Maybe once I am more comfortable in myself, I will definitely buy a gym membership. But if you are hesitant to buy one from here, do it!

Nutrition store and Gym combo. Just opened up and already looks fantastic. Definitely a guys gym so go in there so expect to see little to no cardio machines, ladies and running gents. It will most likely change as they aren't even done building up to the potential. So far, it's definitely ready for building and lifting.
