I really enjoy classes at Rowdy! Instructors are knowledgeable, supportive, & know when to push or offer modifications so everyone gets the most out of their workout. If I'm going to spend time working out, I want to see results & this place is it! I've really seen a difference working out in infrared heat, muscles recover so much faster.
Each class and instructor is challenging & unique, there's no getting bored here

Took Jake's class and had trouble hearing him the entire time. He only spoke to some people. I went up to him after class to say thank you and he was very rude to me and I don't want to come back. Unfortunate, because I was really looking forward to trying this place

As a women, walking into a workout class is always super intimidating for what ever reason… but that wasn’t the case when I started at rowdy. The energy is unmatched. It’s fun, light harder and a genuine good time ( all while busting your ass)

It’s a room full of strong people. With zero judgement. A place where you can talk off your tshirt and wear a sports bra and NOT feel judge or like you need to be a size 0 to fit in

The rowdy mermaid is hands down the best studio i have worked out in and genuinely enjoy going. it’s Is My meantime, my Sanctuary, my outlet.

If you have yet to take a class, do yourself a favor and GO! The Instructors are phenomena.The workouts are great, and you will see results.. all while having a great time!

It’s disappointing to have to come back and leave another review, as the noise issue has once again gotten out of hand. While I understand that new speakers have been installed, the real concern is not the equipment itself but the volume and bass levels being used. Things had been improving for a while, but unfortunately, the issue has resurfaced.

I’ve had to contact the landlord again regarding the excessive music, which points to a lack of proper oversight and accountability within management. As the owner, Amelia, it’s important to ensure that both the business and employees respect the surrounding community.

If the problem continues, I will have no choice but to document and share video evidence to illustrate the severity of the noise. I truly hope this situation can be resolved in a lasting and responsible way.

But we shall see, if they care enough.

Unfortunately, this business continues to be inconsiderate of the residents living above and beside their unit. Loud music regularly starts as early as 6 AM — including on weekends — and the noise often disrupts sleep and daily routines.

For a studio that promotes peace and wellness, one would expect more mindfulness toward maintaining a peaceful environment for the surrounding community. Despite multiple attempts to address the issue through the landlord — who has contacted the business directly — the problem persists.

I even sent a message intended for the owner, Amelia Buckley, which was also disregarded. Both she and her team are aware that the studio walls have no insulation or soundproofing. A contractor had reportedly been scheduled to install soundproofing material, but as far as I know, no such work has taken place.

Instead, the owner stated that she purchased “a new speaker,” which has not improved the situation for those affected. It’s worth noting that she previously relocated her business due to similar complaints about noise disturbances — and now, unfortunately, that pattern seems to be repeating here.

I attended a Hot Sculpt class at The Rowdy Mermaid and it was absolutely amazing! Melania and Amelia brought such high energy and made the class both fun and challenging. Their instruction was top-tier, and their vibe was contagious. Even with a two-hour drive, it was 100% worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an energizing and uplifting workout experience!

Unfortunately, this review thread is still being used by Carlos, who continues to leave fake and misleading reviews in an attempt to destroy this business — instead of addressing his issue with the landlord of the building, which is where the responsibility lies.

Carlos has never taken a class at Rowdy, and yet he keeps writing reviews, responding to people’s comments, and trying to stir up drama. So here we are again.

Let me be clear:
Rowdy is an amazing studio. If you actually take a class there, you’ll feel it for yourself. The energy, the teachers, the space — all of it is built with intention and love. So I’m going to leave a five-star review, because they absolutely deserve it.

Carlos — here’s your answer, my dear:

This business is operating fully within the law. Despite your multiple calls to the police, they have never found the music to be excessive or in violation of any ordinance. No citations have been issued. The volume was even lowered out of courtesy, not necessity.

Your continued negative reviews — especially having never been a client — are not only misleading me off topic, they border on harassment.

And just so we’re clear:
You do not live above the business. You live in the next building. There are no apartments above this business. Your ongoing efforts to target the owner of this business personally and try to take down her business are unwarranted and increasingly aggressive.

If you have a problem with noise or structure, the solution is with your landlord since the business is operating within the lease agreements and the noise compliance. That’s how these matters are handled. Trying to publicly tear down a woman-owned business for operating lawfully (by leaving fake and off topic reviews to lower her ratings) — and building something meaningful for the community — is not the answer.

For context, I live next to Porta, a venue that plays music, hosts club nights, and weddings until 2 a.m. multiple times a week. And guess what? I’ve never left them a bad review. Why? Because that’s what they do — and I resolved my concerns with my landlord, not by trying to sabotage someone’s livelihood.

So again:
This is a great business, and the owner is doing everything right in terms of what the law and the landlord required. If you want to be part of a solution, take it up with the building owner — and please stop misusing this platform to cause harm.

Music started blasting at 6am they have no consideration for that fact that there are people living above and next to the studio. I’m all for a woman owned business but if they could get some sound proofing or lower the music and actually think there are other people besides them in this world. We owe it to humanity to be more considerate to others and you are not that. Please use your head. Sound proofing is on amazon. It’s not that expensive
