The Turf is a 12,000 square foot indoor hybrid facility that combines a state of the art training facility with full service fitness club amenities. Located adjacent to Strength and Fitness Club, The Turf includes state of the art lighting & batting cages (including automatic pitching machines), pitching / catching tunnels and sports specific training.

I am very disappointed with my experience at this facility.

The venue promoted full field access, but upon arrival, I was informed that my group of 20 only had access to half of the field. When I spoke to the manager, Dave, about the situation, I was required to pay an additional $100 on the spot for the other half of the field—15 minutes into my workout session. This disrupted my schedule and took away time from getting my athletes started.

Additionally, the previous group (a softball team) wasn’t cleared from the field until 9:06 PM, even though our session was scheduled to start at 9:00 PM. Despite this delay, the staff insisted on removing us promptly at 9:00 PM. When I tried to request just a few extra minutes to address my athletes before leaving, I was told that the time spent discussing the issue with staff counted as my extension.

As a coach and business owner with 35K followers and 1M daily viewers, I understand the challenges of running a business and value professionalism. I’m not quick to leave negative reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing. Even a small accommodation—such as a few extra minutes to wrap up—would have made a significant difference. Instead, we were rushed off the field, even though no one was waiting to use it.

I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their customer service policies to prevent future issues like this.
