Scheduled a trial class. Showed up. Wasn't on schedule. Front desk guy tried to sell membership in Cloture or whatever the gym is rebranding itself. Not what I was looking for.

Amazing gym. Be prepared to be challenged, this gym holds no punches (but rather teaches to uncork them very effectively). The instructors - every single one is absolutely world class. They take their craft and their students VERY seriously. For a gym with as many members, every coach takes the effort to get to know everyone personally. They're always walking around classes with instruction very specific for each member. They're always pushing everyone past their constraints and limitations to get better each class. As good as the coaches are, the membership is even better. There are so many world class members - from beginners, to amateur fighters to top class pros, but everyone treats each other equally, like bretheren, and everyone pitches in to make all members better each day.

Fantastic gym with experience boxing, muay thai, and jiu-jitsu instructors for beginner and advanced fighters. The trainers they have for crossfit, HIIT, and strengthening classes do great job at monitoring everyone for correct form and alternating exercises if need be. I am a local physical therapist in the area and recommend this gym to my clients. Highly recommend!

This is the place to train. I've had so many incredible sessions with the staff at UFC Hoboken. My favorite part about training here is the community. I've gotten to build relationships with the other members as we push ourselves. Everything is achievable, the cues are perfect, and they make sure that everyone is having fun while training hard. You're missing out if you're not training here!

I love this place. Whether I'm kickboxing, doing a HIIT class or experimenting with heavy weights, this place has got the goods. I hear the jiu jitsu is also pretty strong π¦ . Happily recommend to anyone trying to get in shape or train for a pro fight.

Iβve been coming here for a number of years. I take the hiit classes and boxing conditioning classes. The instructors are knowledgeable and the crowd is welcoming. The classes can be challenging but they are supposed to be and you can go at your own pace. Iβm a bit older than most of the students but never felt intimidated or like I couldnβt keep up. I dropped 20 pounds this year and attribute a lot of that to going to the classes. Iβve tried a number of clubs in NYC including Rumble and Barryβs and I found the culture, vibe, and workouts are much better at UFC.

I was a member for half year and got in shape really fast going 3 to 4 times per week. The workouts are really intense and effective. I got to see Valentina Shevchenko, Dillon Danis and Phil Hawes training there.
The only down side is that the gym is small and that it's full of Hoboken people, thats all. Cheers to the owner.

Took a free class. Enjoyed every minute of it.
Pros: Great vibe from all the people. The instructor was great. He spent time with everyone while making me feel like I was getting a one-on-one. The BJJ arena looks like a lot of fun. There is also a boxing ring in the place. It would be great to work up to the other levels. Plenty of street parking but I went on a Sat. Not sure how it is during the week.
Cons: My commute. Has nothing to do with the place. I am hoping to be able to join but I'm not sure if I'll be able to because of where I am coming from.
If you are looking for a good spot to train for Boxing and / or MMA, definitely check out this spot. The instructor I had was great (Rich).

Came here twice from Bayonne, paying parking both times (right on the river). First time after speaking with the lady in the front (younger mid 30s, blonde) showed up, to learn that the class didn't take place that day an the schedule posted online was ...out of date
Showed up the second time to see a class over 30 minutes, with I am not kidding, maybe 30 seconds of instructor instruction.
I dont think this is good gym for those who are starting out or interested in BJJ in the area . You will get that Hoboken arrogance here

GREAT GYM & COMMUNITY: I have been going to UFC Hoboken for years. The classes are intense but fun, staff is very knowledgeable, and they have showers. I would highly recommend you check it out!

What it does, it does well. It isn't a gym like Retro, NYSC or Crunch. The square footage here is not allocated for multiple weight training and cardio machines. Rather, the gym caters towards group fitness activities with an emphasis on personal training, boxing, heavy bag training, Brazilian Jiujitsu, Muay Thai and other classes. It's very welcoming. Gym decisions typically vary based upon personal goals. If your goal is to become leaner, I would recommend this gym. If you want to become a power lifter, you'll probably want another gym and an atmosphere like that. I love this place.

Hoboken UFC is a fantastic place for anyone interested in a solid BJJ program. I have friends who regularly train there and they are very happy with their training partners and instructors. Every time I've dropped in, I've had a great time. I'll be doing so again in the future!

My lifestyle has been completely transformed since I started working out at this gym!! The trainers and "ufc fam" (aka anyone I've ever worked out with are so much fun.) 'UFC GYM' first rang to me as this macho men fighting gym, but I'm a 5'6'' 119lb girl with no intention of bulking up in muscle, and this gym has helped my body form into something I am proud of. Who would ever think a 7:30AM class would be fun?! Not only do they teach and train incredible workouts but the trainers truly care about how you take care of your body 24/7. Before I even hired a personal trainer at the gym, I received a free hour fitness assessment under their "EAT CLEAN. TRAIN DIRTY." program. Lets just say the results within two weeks got me HOOKED. I recommend this spot to anyone who wants to properly enjoy their workout experience!
