The short blonde girl from the nightshift gave me the worst experience,she was being rude for no reason at all and it also felt like it was because I’m a Hispanic person. I definitely don’t recommend this gym at all unless you want to lose all your motivation and have a bad time.

I had a very bad experience at this gym.

The front desk staff was extremely rude and completely ruined my day a girl with blonde hair the moment | walked in. They showed no professionalism or willingness to help. I came to work out and feel good, but | left frustrated and disappointed. I will definitely not be coming back to this gym, and I don't recommend it to anyone who values good customer service.

There is no ufc gym in new jersey with a higher caliber jiujitsu program. Sean yadimarco and Gabriella Bermudez have the best program in new jersey ufc gym or not. Theres several showers so even when we have 40 people on the mat its a fairly short wait for the showers. Sauna is generously sized, locker room is huge and the punching bag area has about 15 bags. This is the perfect gym for any hobbiest or competitive martial artist.

I am currently doing the 3 day free trial. My first impressions are good. Gym looks nice, very clean and organized and was not crowded during the late morning when I went. Personally the only two down sides for me are that there are only two squat racks. I personally prefer free weight lifting over machines and it just seems like those two are always occupied. The second thing is that there is no “powerlifting” type of a wide bench for bench pressing. Both bench presses have the standard narrow benches. Having at least one wider bench as an option would be nice. But other than that, which like I said are just personal preferences, the gym has everything you need and the equipment is great.

I used this gym for the summer of 2023. A lot of their equipment was either broken or just didn't work well, for example their leg curl machine and aductor machine never worked well. I still went as it was close to my home.
The real problem starts with the fact that I went to college during the fall and put my account on hold. It recharged me while I was still at school and so I called and they told me I had to cancel in person. Additionally, I asked if I could get a refund and the person on the phone said that I might be able to get one. While being misinformed, I was busy as I got back so I couldn't make it to the gym very early. As a result, due to their policy they charged me for an extra month because you have to cancel 30 days before. I payed for the month that I missed because that was ultimately my fault. I would think that the owner would be reasonable and not charge me for the extra month, so I did not pay for it. As a result, they continue to harrass and charge me for the membership until April, making a $50 charge into a $215 + $100 extra dollars because they got a dept collection agency.

TLDR: They dont care about you and hold no integrity when it comes to money.

I signed up my daughter for only three months last summer however, this three months I had to pay it like three times over due to the gym policies.
She went back to school and I Receive letters from collection agencies every week. I went back to the gym several times, everything is paid and I’m still can’t resolve this matter till today. this is already the end of February I cannot get UFC gym off my back. Parents be ware!! This gym can end up being your worst nightmare . ridiculous.

Seems like a nice gym. Just did a trial, only thing is that their sauna seems a lot cooler than other gyms I’ve been to, hard to sweat at all. Other then that seems good just a bit scared of all the billing issues and hidden charges people claim.

Horrendous in every stretch of the imagination.
I made the mistake of signing up for this gym, they charged me 2.5X what I agreed to on the day I signed up ($130~), they told me they would refund me, that was a complete lie, I disputed the charge, won the dispute, then a month and a half later I got charged $90 for absolutely no reason from this gym.
And when I reached out to them to get a refund for the false $90 charge, no response.
Now I'll have to dispute a second charge from this gym and win yet again. That is a very unnecessary problem to have.
I cannot stress this enough, do not go to this gym, the billing issues and lack of proper customer service is atrocious and unacceptably poor, regardless of how good or bad the gym itself is.
Do not even go for a free trial, I'm confident this gym will still figure out a way to rob you. It is NOT worth it under any circumstance.

Absolutely horrible. Signed up for a month to month membership for $53.80 per month, and was charged $127 on the same day I signed up which was not what I agreed to in any way. Go to literally any other gym in the area, this gym is incredibly dishonest and deceptive with their pricing.

Best gym ever! My kids wanted to test out boxing classes. I stopped into Paramus UFC gym and felt like I was a VIP. Everyone who works there is so nice and knowledgeable. The price was fair for what perks you receive. My kids love taking classes and the trainers treat my boys like family. My kids favorite part is trying the shakes and smoothies they sell. Any issues I had Michael, one of the managers, handled it immediately. It’s one of the few gyms that offers jujitsu classes/wrestling classes for adults and youth. It’s clean/friendly/ and so much fun. I would recommend this to any kid wanting to start going to the gym or adults looking for something great!

Gym has a ton of great machines and the classes are intense. Brazilian Ju Jitsu was fun as much as challenging. Gym could use some updating as it's a little worn down and the billing process going through some corporate entity is a pain.

I’m a Paramus resident who started coming here about a year ago. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT THIS GYM!!! It’s perfect for beginners and seasoned athletes alike. First, the gym facility itself is top tier. They have specialty equipment/machines/weights you won’t find anywhere else- for example vertical leg press machine, LAT grip pull-down/rowing bars, wrecking ball heavy bags, etc. They also have amazing recovery options like sauna, cryochamber, leg compress, smoothie bar, etc. The facility itself is extremely clean and well-maintained. The gym’s community is nothing but kind and staff are all great. Last, in addition to being a fully stocked high-quality gym, they literally have every kind of class/discipline that you can think of (and kids programs too) - BJJ, Yoga, HIIT, boxing, turf, wrestling, stretch, etc.- with world-ranked instructors. Whether you’re just looking to get started, or you’ve been training for a long time, I strongly encourage you to come here. I’ve personally lifted and trained for years (at every type of gym), this place is truly special.

Pretty disappointed with the lack of professionalism and correspondence with the front desk. It’s not the first time either, but I let the first incident slide. I expect when I freeze my membership in advance for the previous month the following month I don’t get billed. When I called to ask why I was billed, I was told they will look into it and call me back. That never happened as expected and it’s ok I handled it with my bank. No one seems to know what they are doing at the front desk and it’s always I’ll get back to you. I don’t plan to renew my membership with the lack of professionalism.

I must say that the people at the front desk are pleasant and are willing to help. The issue that I had was getting a hold of Robert concerning a billing question. For some odd reason, he's the only person that can handle this matter. I called many times and he was either working out (and couldn't be disturbed while he is working out) or he was not on premises. I never got a chance to talk to Robert. Also, the gym has a policy about canceling that seems pretty unfair to me. I cancelled my membership one day after being charged $158. I asked to speak to Robert after being informed that I was still on the hook for another $106 due to the "billing cycle". The last person I spoke to said that the gym has absolutely nothing to do with this transaction. She blamed it on billing. I was never given a copy of the contract and that's partly my fault for not requesting it. While cancelling my membership I also overheard another member discussing the same issue with an employee. I remember being charged the month in advance when I signed up. So why do I have to pay another month after I cancel the membership?
Make sure you get a clear explanation about the terms before signing up so that this doesn't happen to you.
