This is by far the best Taekwon Center I have found. The Master and staff are very professional at what they do. They don't want your money and call it a day they will make sure your kids learn the correct techniques that are required for every kick or Poomsae. They will push your kids to do their best. Highly recommend!!!

HIDDEN FEES !!

United taekwondo centers have hidden fees they don’t tell you about when you sign up.

One of them is for belt tests. Every two months there’s a belt test fee of $60. And that’s for the first year. After the first year it’s goes up by $20 every four months.

BLACK BELT TESTS FEE $800 and up

These locations also allow students with just a year of experience to teach kids. Very disappointing.

Great school. A little pricey but then again I'm not certain what comparative places charge. Still the staff is very competent. Tough... but not excessively so; just enough to get results from students. An excellent school for those who want serious training. My son is very happy here! I enjoy watching him progress.

my 10 year old son is a black belt, now i have my 6 year old son enjoying the activity. he just became a blue striped belt. the masters are young, energetic, positive. they know every student by name and they recognize each of their strengths and weaknesses. the masters always spend extra time to make sure all students are equally trained.
TaeKwonDoe has improved my kids on being responsible, respect, speaking the truth, integrity and helping each other. they also help emphasize how important school is .

United Tae Kwon Do - North Bergen Center is the very best that is out there in Tae Kwon Do Schools. First it has an amazing teacher "Master Lee" and great staff. Everyone there is there to help you succeed. This school is great for children of all ages and including adults. I strongly recommend if you are considering learning Tae Kwon Do, Kickboxing, or Strengthening and Conditioning, Agility and Flexibility or just getting in SHAPE for yourself or your children, "This is the place."

My kids have evolved alot since they joined a year ago. The teachers are dedicated, fun and very disciplined and teach the kids the same along with gratitude in their attitude.

Master Lee not only teach lessons of tactics and physical skills but he first show the student how to be respectful and to work hard to reach your goals. Once you show self- confidence, a good spirit, and a devotion for good character then you can reach your potential as a Tae Kwon Do athlete. You should personally watch the classes that are delicately devoted and passinately committed to by the teaching staffs and the master instructor. The classes are where you would observe subtle and extensive instructions by the master instructor and the staffs given to the members for mastering nearly perfect martial arts moves and appreciating values of life to stand strong mentally and physically.

These people are a very manipulative. They force their contracts even when there is a medical situation in which stops my daughter from being able to continue her lessons. He has been harassing me and my child's pediatrician and has threatened to send me to collections after providing him with a Dr. Note that he previously asked me for with her # and info. As well. Mind you there is no cancelation policy. We have been going here for a year and a half and this is outrageous and unprofessional!!!
