I booked VIVA Ballroom for my daughter's 18th birthday party and the venue did not disappoint! It was amazing! We had plenty of space and the day of the event Violetta, the owner, was there to make sure everything was going well. She had two events going on at the same time, in both of her spaces, and was still able to come over and check in with us. Booking with Violetta was easy from start to finish. She kept in communication with me all the way to the event, addressing any concerns I had whether we met in person or via text. I will be booking with her again in the future! Thank you, again, Violetta for providing the venue. My daughter had a wonderful night! I posted a picture of one of our balloon displays that we used for the entryway. ♥️

I’m glad the others here had a better experience than I did.. Make sure you’re aware of the auto-pay policy. In all my five years of dancing, I’ve never heard of a dance studio (secretly) charging auto-pay. I was automatic enrolled by Viva without my express consent, and indeed when I called for a refund, the owner could not find the receipt from me that she claimed was “consent for auto-pay”. (How can a receipt of payment for one month’s lessons be an agreement to future auto-pay anyway… ??) you would think that this would be enough to get the $74 refund I kindly requested, but no I had to deal with more hassle. In the end, I just filed a claim with my bank.

Two stars though because Butherly is a great teacher! That dance environment just wasn’t for me, clearly.

We had been looking for a local ballroom studio that could meet our entire families needs. This dance studio does a great job of meeting students of all levels grow. When we came to Viva, our levels spanned from competitive silver level to beginner in ballroom, and this did not daunt them. The footwork training helped my sons in both dance and soccer. My daughter loves that her teacher is very encouraging.

I love this place. The energy is great and the instructors are fun! I joined with a friend and truly enjoyed my time! Unfortunately, I live in North Jersey so to travel down to Lawrenceville 2 times a week is a bit challenging but once I relocate, I will definitely return to Viva Ballroom!!

Samanta was absolutely wonderful to work with. She taught my husband & I our first dance over the course of 5 lessons. Not only is she so sweet and easy to work with, but she is also extremely talented. She made us look fantastic and our guests loved our dance. Last night, my fiancé and I attended our first beginners bachata class at Viva. We had such an amazing time. Our instructor Butherly Lublin was helpful with demonstrating the steps, we then performed the steps, and then had partner work. After 1 class, I can say he provided enough dance steps to practice at the club or on the dance floor with confidence. We’ve signed up for more classes. See you next Thursday!

This was just my first class, but I really enjoyed the energy from the instructor! His instruction was easy to follow, and he rotated dancing with us all. The facility is very neat, modern looking, and the temperature wasn't cold (like I expected). Can't wait to sign up for 8 Classes!!

My nearly 11 year old daughter and I went looking for a ballroom dance studio for her to start her dream of Standard and Latin dancing. We walked into Viva, took a look around, the studio was clean, it was modern, had two beautiful generous sized ballrooms and they were full of dancers of all ages. We knew this was the place and we never looked back! When she came for her very first lesson ever she was so excited and so nervous but the kids all welcomed her and she didn't feel out of place. The older experienced students also helped her and became mentors to her. This studio was so welcoming, before I knew it people were asking about my daughter and saying how much she improved and how great that was. Also the moms are very helpful to each other. The students are very kind to each other as well. I am always proud to see how they react to each other. Every single instructor is tremendous at what they do. Every lesson when they dance is like watching a show over and over I love it! There are amazing student teachers who are to be recognized for their talent for teaching and skills, hard work ethic and patience. My daughters First and present teacher "Mr. J" is a miracle worker. He is the most amazing dancer I've ever seen, my daughter and about all the student body watch him in awe and with such respect. I cant say enough about the staff everyone at the desk goes above and beyond whats needed or asked of them. They are so helpful, especially when you are new and have many questions :) They are multitasking masters. Also Viva has adult dance classes as well as fitness classes, you might want to try. I will have to do another review on the fitness classes after i take a few....if i can still move my limbs...or walk ;) Do I highly recommend this studio? YES! In every way. My main reason, my daughter started 6 months ago, since then she has moved on from her newcomer level, She has competed in some competitions and won lots of 1st and some 2nd places. She holds herself different, shes proud of something she does, and her posture is awesome! Its been an amazing journey so far with my Viva family. You will not regret being a part of it!

My husband and I got married in April 2016 and we took private dance lessons at Viva to prepare for our first dance. Going into this process we had many doubts and hesitations as we have never took such lessons. Turns out Jaroslaw, the dance instructor, step by step helped us accomplish our goal. Each lesson we had his full attention. His way of teaching is very clear and engaged. i never knew my husband can dance like that! Jaroslaw helped to discover something I had no idea existed! We were able to personalize all steps and choreography to match our style and expectations. During our wedding, we did amazing and everyone was talking about how great we did. This is such an amazing studio! The instructors are incredible- I started taking Zumba here several years ago and to this day they are still the best ones I've ever taken class with after dozens of instructors. They have so many classes to offer for all levels, types of dance/exercise and schedules- and the studio is beautiful! Great floors, mirrors and sound system. Would definitely recommend them!
