I went for a free class and it was my 1st Muay Thai experience. This is a great gym. Everyone was so nice, welcoming, knowledgeable, and patient. I learned a little of the basics and got a great workout. I plan on returning.

I’ve been here for about 3-4 months and wanted to wait and get the full experience before leaving a review. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and welcoming, as well as the students. I was concerned about going to Muay Thai as a woman (I’ve heard horror stories) but this gym has women, seasoned and new, and I’ve never encountered a problem in the way of gender. When you come to class, just try to find a partner around the same size as you and you will be good!
The monthly fee is the most bang for your buck if you plan to come 2-4 times a week and there are several class options, like beginners, advanced, all level, and a woman’s class. If you wanted to try Muay Thai and want the least judgmental space with the most helpful coaches and classmates, give this gym a try.

This is a legit Muay Thai gym. So legit that they don't even have kid's classes. All the coaches are fighters and many of the members are also legit fighters, where they fight in amateur and pro bouts.
However, you don't have to be a fighter to train here, many members train just to train.
There are no egomaniacs nor meat heads here neither, everyone here are friendly and just want to train.

Been trying to call to ask for info about joining the gym and signing up for classes, but either they don’t check their phones or don’t care or return calls.
Started at another gym that returned my call same day.

Extremely experienced in the knowledge and art of Muaythai and Boxing! One of the premier spaces to practice the art. The owners of the gym truly show the passion that exemplifies in their daily teachings. Highly recommend it if you were looking for a place to work out, or simply learn the art, or even Looking to compete. Authentic Muay thai, authentic boxing.
Not only has this place given me the art to learn, but it has helped me in my journey to focusing on better health. It has allowed me to concentrate to focus on making a better version of myself. The surrounding so many students, as well as the fighters, is truly an inspiration to be surrounded by. The energy is alive and bright even when yours is very low. You can find your spirit to brighten up here because of the confidence push into your soul. There’s nothing like this place, and there’s truly something special all about it.

Weather your looking to get back in shape or become a fighter, you're sure to find both if not more of those things here. I've been with the Weapons 9 gym for about a year now and it's probably one of the best choices I've made in the past year, everyone is always trying to help each other, improve, and train hard.

I'd recommend training here regardless of your goals (fitness, competition, etc.). The instruction is excellent; the coaches are very knowledgeable and attentive to detail, and each class will push you to improve. The gym community is also welcoming and supportive. I feel very fortunate to be a part of this team, and have learned a great deal training here.

Premier Muay Thai from a respected and established gym here on the East Coast. I traveled to Dallas, Texas and visited a Muay Thai gym and when I told them where I was from they immediately recognized Weapons 9 and had high praise for the quality of Muay Thai being taught here. There are professional fighters, nationally recognized amateurs, and a coaching staff that really only cares about their fighters and doing right by anyone that walks through the door. This is A true family that is simultaneously competitive and encouraging. You'll come here and learn a great deal about yourself, and ultimately leave a better person. Forever indebted to this gym.

I've visited the gym several times with my coach to spar. I always feel welcome and have a good time. The guys there have good control so if you want to spar light or Focus on technique they will do that, if you want to go hard they will match you punch for punch so be forewarned. The open mat area can get crowded when a lot of people come to spar and it gets really hot but that's what hard work looks like. I know they have classes and a membership but I don't know the pricing. I do believe it's up there in price but that's to be expected for a Muay Thai specialty (Kickboxing)gym. It's definitely a top Muay Thai school in New Jersey and worth the money or a visit if you can make the trip. No major parking lot near the gym thats not for the local residents or PD from what I can remember so you will have to park on the street. Wish I had more to say but I don't want to give information I'm not aware of. I do recommend checking the gym out if your a martial artist or have any interest in martial arts or a good way to stay healthy.

Kru Tran started as my coach and became my friend.
Both my brothers and many friends have trained under him and still do. He creates a true school and home away from home. If your new or pro this school is for you. Much love Kru

Truly exceptional! Weapons 9 & Chris Tran are top notch in every respect. My friend and I trained with Chris over 10 years ago but then regrettably life & work prevented us from maintaining our training routine. After recently deciding to get back into shape, I was so happy to find out that Chris actually moved his facility even closer to where I live. I immediately re-signed up and I can say that everything was just as good as I remembered. Chris expertise is second to none and his humbleness is genuine. I highly recommend Weapons 9!

I joined about 6 -7 years ago looking to get in shape and lose weight. I was looking for something different other than lifting weights at a gym. I wanted to join a gym that I can learn a skill from, lose weight and have good cardio. Not only have I reached my goals, I gained new friends and deeper knowledge on overall fitness. And the reasonable price is a huge plus. Which is one of the reason why I chose this gym in the first place among many other reasons.
The gym mainly focuses on traditional muay thai and occasionally incorporate dutch kick boxing and boxing. One of the best thing about the coaching and training is that you are not limitted to a specific style. The main trainer and coach Chris Tran teaches you proper techniques but let you find your own style naturally. He has a lot of experience in the fight game, in numerous martial arts specially muay thai. The gym is open to all comers. Whether you are looking to lose weight, get in shape or get into fighting. Defintiely one of the best Muay Thai gyms in the East Coast.

I 100% recommend training here, the atmosphere is amazing, the comrodery between training partners is superb, the technique and condictioning taught in each class is crisp and proper, and the best part about it is there is no insentive to fight or compete you can set your own goals and the friendly and well-versed coach Chris Tran will help you to achieve them

Weapons 9 is a great gym where you can learn traditional Muay Thai. It's focus is strictly Muay Thai and it is taught by an experienced former Muay Thai fighter who is the promotor for one of the biggest Muay Thai shows on the East Coast, Warriors Cup. The training is amazing and Chris is very attentative and helpful towards all of his students. Whether you want to train to fight or train for fitness, Weapons 9 is a great gym that allows you to do either. Weapons 9 treats its students like family members rather than gym members!

Weapons 9 Muay Thai is such an incredible gym. Not only does Trainer Chris Tran have a huge amount of muay thai experience, knowledge, but also he has great personality, humbleness, honesty. I'm proud of being a part of this gym. We learn different techniques and all the trainers and team members are so friendly, supportive. I just started as a newbie to Muay Thai but the support here makes it easy for anyone to join and feel accepted and encouraged.
