I've been attending this school for over eleven years (as of 2024) and it's one of the best experiences I have had in my life. Master Kim is an extraordinary teacher and helped me developed discipline and confidence. I wouldn't be who I am today if it weren't for Yi's Karate.

I have been a student here for around 10 years and am currently a 2nd degree black belt. Throughout my training, not only have I developed great fighting skills, but I have also gained great confidence in my fighting ability, discipline, an extensive knowledge of self-defense techniques, and an inclination towards maintaining and improving my health. Master Kim is a kind and patient instructor and every day I go to class is a good one. I am thankful to have had a great teacher for all my years as a student of the martial arts.

Master Kim is an incredible instructor. My husband my self and our grandson are students here . My husband and I started in the 1980’s . My husband is not currently training he is a 3 rd Dan . I am currently a 1 st Dan . I stopped training for several yrs and went back with our grandson . He is currently a brown belt . I love attending and being one of his instructors . If your looking for good exercise and to learn a great skill this is the place for you . Come try it out see how it works for you

My old Tang Soo Do Master (and Dojang) that I earned my black belt through. Master Kim's teachings and discipline has stuck with me through the years and will always be an integral part of my life.

I was a student of Master Kim's Brother as a child at the Cherry Hill location. I can't tell you how pleased I am that my kids both have a Master Kim/Yi's as well here in Sewell!

This is unlike any other martial arts school. Completely unique place and I couldn't reccomended more strongly that you come by and meet Master Kim for yourself. He's so good with the kids. A natural teacher. And an unadulterated, traditional training in martial arts!

My son began at the age of five and he is like a different kid. His behavior and discipline, especially in kindergarten, have greatly improved. Master Kim is wonderful with the Little Tigers - encouraging, yet tough!
