I took class tonight with Lana. It was fabulous. the studio has been a change of pace for me from my previous studio so I have been trying out a lot of the different teachers. Lana's class was great, I wish I'd be able to attend more but the NP studio is closing so I'll have to check out the Dunellen studio if I want to take class with her again. thanks!

This was my first in-studio class since the pandemic began, and I am new to Yoga Essence. Lisa was a great teacher, tailoring the class to the students who were present. The Flow to Yin class was a workout for me but I was able to participate fully, and enjoyed the long yin poses. I plan to continue with as many classes as I can at this studio. Just be aware, your GPS might send you to the commuter parking lot (mine did). The studio is in a house across the street from the permit only lot, with a sign for the studio, and ample parking in the yard.

Writing again today, about Rose. She teaches Friday morning Flow to Yin in her own way. Her class starts with Yin, includes xi gong, incorporates some flow and returns toYin. Rose has her own following and that is no wonder. She has a beautiful spirit and energy which imbues her classes. I HIGHLY encourage anyone to take her class.

Great place to learn yoga! Excellent teachers. If you are a beginner, definitely opt for Classes with Sara P. She is extremely patient and takes time to assist you with the poses.

In 2020 I had challenges with my back on multiple occasions and Yoga Essence New Providence has been a key part of my recovery the last few months. The staff is amazing. The class schedule has great flexibility and I couldn't imagine not having this as part of my routine. I HIGHLY recommend to anyone who is considering yoga whether it be for the first time or to get back into it.

I took Nicole’s flow to yin class. We started with a fun, challenging but do-able flow that warmed up our muscles! Nicole offered great cues to help me to check in and align my body throughout the class!! She offered great modifications for the yin portion also! I would highly suggest her class you will walk out of there feeling loved and peaceful!! <3

LOVED class with Sara! I usually get bored about 30 into yoga classes but the time flew by. I actually didn’t want it to be over! Sara was also super attentive and really great about cueing which really helped me to connect with my body. Will definitely be returning!

The Flow to Yin class taught by Yuka that I attended was excellent. She is a knowledgeable yoga instructor that lead the class with grace and skill. I felt so much better, much more limber and centered after the class. Just what I needed. I look forward to her next class.

I signed up for my first month a couple of weeks ago and have taken classes with Rose, Melissa, Chelsea, Jenny and Nicole. All have been wonderful! The studio has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Parking is convenient as well, which is just a bonus. :)

Not only have I been a student any Yoga Essence for years now, but now I am apart of their Yoga Teacher 200hr training program and it has changed my life. Nicole and Chelsea make their studio a welcoming environment to everyone and it feels like home. They make yoga accessible to everyone and allow all students to find their personal edge. Anyone that asks me about yoga or where to start I tell them all about YES and say it’s the best place to be.

I have been to many yoga studios and as soon as I walked into this one I felt at home. They offer a wide variety of classes and times for everyone. They also offer a great deal to first time students. The studio owners are also always doing free classes for our community and donation based classes for the good of others. So grateful I found this studio.

I've just started yoga and it is so beautiful to have such wonderful teachers and humans who take care of me. I have severe spine issues and yogi Kristen has been so patient and careful about the exercises I do with utmost care about not inflaming the nerve. Anyone, who wants a caring environment with excellent teachers apart from the myriad benefits of yoga must sign up for Yoga Essence. I love them!

I highly recommend Yoga Essence. It is a peaceful, welcoming environment and everyone is treated like family :) As a beginner I immediately found that classes can accommodate folks of all levels. I will definitely be going back!

This was the most friendly and new to yoga accepting place I have ever seen. The instructors walked around to help the students with proper form (which was greet because I was not sure about a lot of the poses) 5 star!

Yoga Essence has been a part of life since they opened. I’m so glad I found them because that have amazing teachers that will guide and support you no matter what level you are in your practice. Both studios are clean and beautiful. They also have great workshops and retreats throughout the year. Great overall atmosphere and a must go if you live near.
