I go here all of the time because I live across the street. The equipment is good, environment is good, there's not alot of "gym bros" but a few here and there. My only gripe is there is not alot of machines and its kind of small so when there are couples working out together, they tend to take up alot of time flirting with eachother and talking instead of just working out. It's really frustrating when you have to tag on another 20-30 minutes on to your work out time waiting for couples or groups of friends to get done hogging up one machine. Other than that, its fine.

This is hands down THE BEST Anytime in Albuquerque. I came here all through COVID and they enforced the mask policy for everyone's safety. They are very clean, it's grown, the owner is a complete professional and an old fashioned gentleman. The manager Dominic is so polite and courteous. I love this gym.

My local home gym, hands down one of the best fitness center EVER. Staff is amazing and a HUGE SHOUT OUT TO Dom and Peter for always putting their members first, being compassionate and changing the world with one person at a time. Eat healthy, stay hydrated and keep it groovy baby.

I am a travel nurse so it's really been difficult for me to find a clean and comfortable, yet furnished with some new and complete equipment. Albuquerque is not easy but let me tell you this gym gets 5 BIG STARS!!!

I have been going to this specific Anytime for more than a year. The staff is amazing, friendly, helpful, and encouraging WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK! The facility is always very clean and the current/regular members do a great job on wiping down the equipment. Thank you NW Anytime Fitness staff for making this gym my favorite part of the day.

Trying to get a membership on the westside. Omg. Just let me buy a membership so I can work this body out. I get that customer engagement is important, but the interests dwindles if I have to come in person to buy a membership via appointment. I called and the guy seemed confused, granted i made an appointment at a different AF, but he could have offered me an appointment since I was already calling about one. I will post later when I actually get in there and use the equipment.

We tried to go on a Sunday and get a day pass, but unfortunately they were closed. I believe if you are already a member, you can still access the gym, but since we are not we were unable to get in. No big deal though I would still give it another chance if we got the opportunity to go in.

*BEWARE*
After having a membership at this location for years I am forced to leave due to greed. At one point I highly respected the owner. Now after COVID I am forced to either workout/run with a mask or get a shot when I already have COVID antibodies. I asked for my account to be frozen until the mask is no longer required. Then last month both my husband and I were charged. Then I was told I have the choice of canceling and them keeping $70.00 some dollars or to keep a freeze on acct we have to pay $20.00 a month. If I want to cancel they charge us an entire monthly fee each person even though we have not used the facility since before COVID. So apparently the money they took out of our accts stay with them and will not be returned. Greed is a sad thing. CDC requirements or not I will not have something forced into my body that I do not want or need. Sad to see there is not an option for those of us who have legitimately went through COVID and overcome and can prove antibodies. NM has lost all common sense. We also thought better of this business and owner for years. Highly Disappointed

Most unwelcoming experience of all anytime fitness locations nationwide this #vanlife #snowbirder visited in 2020. I was using the wifi to attend a zoom conference in the entry waiting area after my workout and granted I was there for a couple of hours when the owner told me he had a no loitering policy and that I needed to leave. I get that with COVID everyone is being super cautious, but the gym wasn't crowded, it was a Sunday and there wasn't anyone in the immediate area. I apologized, said I was unaware of that policy as I was visiting and asked if I could finish up what I was doing then would be on my way, but he was pretty rude and insisted I leave. Don't plan to return; wouldn't recommend this place. I will say that the equipment was in great shape and the place was very neat, but the vibe was hostile.

To the gym: Thanks for doing your part to be responsible. Hopefully you're not charging your members right now... To everyone else, I went here when this location was open and it was good. At the time it required mask wearing and enforced it which is great. Everyone at the location wore masks of their own accord almost as if doing something about this problem actually works. Go figure (COUGH APACHE JUNCTION). That being said, It's still a gym. Its business practices are predatory and awful to the point where they basically steal from people legally. Gyms and car dealerships are some of the most evil businesses on the planet and AF is no exception. Take that how you will... This location is as good as it gets though. Come here to take long showers and spend all the time you can using their amenities. You paid dearly for the privilege and tons of others are being ripped off, possibly bankrupted as we speak so that you can be there. The gym cares about none of this.

Why go anywhere else? This place has it all: 24/7 access, free weights, machines, treadmills, etc. Ideal for swinging by before/after work and even in the middle of the night if you're bored. Best part: your key gives you access to any of the locations nationwide after 30 days of membership! I travel all the time for work and it's nice to swing by the local Anytime Fitness and get my workout in whilst I'm out of town.

The owner is completely prejudice and has the worst customer service. I had been a member before and left because I just wasnt using the membership and didnt care for the staff, including the owner Peter. I decided to go back because my son is playing high school baseball and I finally had a workout partner. So I decided to give it a second chance. We have been going for the last 8 months and I got a call from the owner today and was told that the gym is an 18 and over only club. He went on to say that we slipped through the cracks....after 8 months. He then told me that I was welcome to stay but my son could not. He also told me that my fee was wrong and I should be charged more, even though I recieve a law enforcement discount. I told Peter, the owner, that I didnt want anything to do with them if my son couldn't be a member. He then told me "ok well we dont want anything to do with you either" and hung up on me. I have seen so many high schoolers working out there and I know they are 16 or 17 years old because they are friends of my son. I can't believe an business owner would talk to a customer like that! I will be contacting corporate and the BBB.

I joined Anytime Fitness while visiting my hometown of Albuquerque for 6 weeks. I needed something simple, clean, gets the job done without too long of a wait or crowds.
This location met and exceeded those expectations. The initial wait of 30 days to use any location was the only bummer, but I think thatβs a corporate thing.
The Tafoya family who operates this location does a great job. Iβve never seen a cleaner gym. Aside from βafter work hoursβ around 6-8, you may have to wait for some equipment. Other members Iβve interacted with are nice, seem to understand the limited space, and likely will let you jump in between sets.
Plus I dig how they celebrate and promote the nearby West Mesa community.

I've been a member at this gym for over 2 years. It's a great location and up to date... however over the last several months their membership has become so large I cant ever get in a substantial workout. They need to expand and add more equipment. But I dont see this happening. Becaise I hear the owner doesnt even want the gym. So I will say the time has come to start looking for a other gym that can fit my needs. I'm sick and tired of having to sacrifice my physical health over this severely undersized location.

This is my favorite Anytime fitness in town. They are rarely crowded, even during there busy hours. They have excellent, clean equipment that gets plenty of upkeep. The gym trainers are well educated in all aspects of improving your gym experience.
