I called to ask how late staff was there, so I could cancel my membership. The guy tells me to call the 1888 number since they are the ones who cancel the membership. I waited 30 min on the phone, just so they could tell me I had to go and cancel at a gym. I ended up paying another $50. Do not recommend getting a membership here. Staff is not helpful or available, and you end up paying for months.

Both water fountains have been broken 4 weeks and have been removed from the wall as of writing this review so they will be gone a while longer still. There are no sources of water IN A GYM. Unacceptable. Only 2 stars because it’s still better than the other one in town. Avoid AF altogether if you can in Santa Fe.

Consistently find myself coming back to this gym...even with other options in town, this gym seems to always have the equipment I need available, despite being limited in size. No obnoxious egos, influencers or attitudes. Management clearly cares about the gym, as the quality, cleanliness and state of repair are much improved every time I return.

This facility is significantly better than the other one in Santa Fe, but it lacks a lot of upper body machines used by those who don't lift weights. They had only one stationary bike and it was in poor condition. They have no locking lockers. I carried my bag around with me rather than losing anything left on open shelves.

I joined this gym when I first moved to Santa Fe a few months ago. I've been an Anytime Fitness member before and I can confidently say this has been the most disappointing, grimey, and neglected location I've joined. I had the call the police on a man who was filming women working out in the gym. He was there in jeans and flip-flops, plainly not there to workout. The management wrote off my experience of feeling unsafe as an anomaly and suggested I was profiling their "trusted members". The equipment is dirty and most of it has torn padding or missing/mismatched pieces. The floor is really disgusting and the mats they provide are stretched out, leave a residue on your palms, and are shredded up. The staff even sent out a survey asking about their member's experience, which I answered honestly, and they proceeded to berate me in an email response... for the opinion that they asked for. Huge red flag when a company doesn't empathize with their members feeling unsafe and instead makes them feel alone, shouting into a void.

The attractive lady there was very helpful. I think she was the manager. Lots of weight machines. I think it was pretty decent. The parking lot on other hand, that's a different story but can't blame the manager for that. Google Maps was slightly off on location, it's on west edge of building.

Easily the grossest gym I've ever been to. Visible dirt, hair, and who knows all over the floors and equipment. Bathrooms are gross. I didn't want to touch the floor during my warmup stretches, and the equipment grossed me out as well.
It's crowded and unorganized and not well maintained.
I have an anytime membership I use in my hometown, and that one I previously rated 4 stars is leagues ahead of this one, I don't understand how theres such a discrepancy in quality between two gyms from the same company.
If it wasn't free with my membership I would absolutely never come here. Even so, I'd pay to use another gym out of network before ever visiting this one again.

The gym has a lot of well maintained equipment, and is organized as well as you can expect when it comes to buildings in Santa Fe. Atmosphere is welcoming and not off putting which can be a problem at gyms

I've been to the gym twice and both times I've seen 2 or more people unmasked!!!! Last week it was the female manager!!! You would think that after a year of dealing with Covid-19 you wouldn't have to tell ANYONE to mask up!!!!!!!

I have left dozens of messages for them to return my call to discuss the options I have with regards to the COVID pandemic. Not a single call back and they sent me to collections. I would not recommend anytime fitness due to very poor business practices.

This gym has seriously deteriorated in quality with the new management. It was filthy before the Pandemic and they do not have many safety standards set up now. They do not return phone calls and are rude. Customer service is not their strong point which is sad because the previous managers were amazing. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere that actually cares about their clientele.

I agree with the comment that said it's hard to breathe, due to "noxious" air. The cause of this, in my observation, is the recent change from the regular carpeting to a cheap rubber matting wall-to-wall. This releases latex dust and fumes into the air. Other gyms have a different type of thick, hard rubber mat, that handles wear very well. This new floor covering was a poor choice. I have a mild allergy to latex, so I can no longer use this facility. It's too bad, as it's very conveniently.located for me. Also, the gym has a decent choice of weight machines & free weights, but gets too warm in summers. Cooling system is inadequate.

They really went all out on the equipment for their members. I've been to nearly a hundred different Anytime locations, this is one of the cleanest I've seen. And there's room to park a truck in the dirt lot next door!

Edit: After visiting other Anytime gyms in other states, and other gym brands in general, it's also worth noting that the equipment in this gym is very new/clean/top notch, and the cardio equipment has the newest Preva touchscreen OS, which is great for tracking workouts / calories burned with a phone app. It's a small thing, but you feel spoiled after you use it.

I've been going to this gym for 9 weeks now, and I love it. It's very clean, they have a great assortment of machines / free weights, and a large treadmill/cardio area upstairs. They also have bathrooms/showers, which is very convenient. The management is very nice. I use my Blue Cross $25/month plan, so I don't know about the contracts, but for what I'm getting, I'm very happy!

Really glad I got a membership at this gym, and I always look forward to working out there.

Its not perfect - it's merely prefect for what it is. A fully equipped basic gym, close to my house, open all the time for a very, very reasonable price. That's what I need. If that's what you need, get a membership.
