Relatively good equipment, some is dated, the sauna and steam room are the best asset, the staff is professional and Courteous, well worth the price. The down size is the limited hours on the weekend.

Decent gym. Very straight forward set up. If your into Crossfit you won't find this gym to your liking. If you're into bodybuilding or strength training, it has everything you need.

Two weeks ago, there was no shower, sunna, and steam room. There is no sense paying the use fee when the participant can not shower after a good workout.

I feel it is a fraud charging participants with the lack of shower, sunna, and steam room.

The facility should be closed until the shower, sunna, and steam room are repaired and in operation for participants to use when charged to enter.

A year later. Only 2 of the 4 working treadmills are good for running. The other 2 will skip speeds making it unsafe. And 3 treadmills have not been working for months and months. Along with other weight machines which have caution tape on them for so long. I still enjoy my workouts and the employees are amazing. I just hope the city could update the treadmills and provide maintenance to the weight machines. There are plenty of gym members to put in the effort.... I enjoy my workouts here. The employees are great! However, can the city of Gallup please provide adequate and good quality cardio machines? With just 7 treadmills it is difficult to wait for an open machine. And 2 of the 7 are still out of order after 3 months.

The sauna doesn't always work 😭 there's no pool and I already HAVe to shower here because where I live doesn't even have that ... There's always something gross in one of the stalls like hair or a razor or something . It could be better . If they wanna charge 55 to 60 a month for membership ought to have everything running AND a POOL

Was passing through and stopped for a day pass ($10). I enjoyed the facilities. They have nice stairmasters, free weights and more. They have showers and a sauna. Good place

As one of the only modern gyms in town, this is an okay spot. Most of the machines are in working order and most people wipe down the machine after using it. The wipes always run out but they put paper towels and spray out when they do. The bathrooms are fairly clean although they could do with auto air fresheners due to the constant stink. The only things that I think could make this place better would be TRX straps.

I have quit this gym three times now. It just happens to be the gym closest to my house. The first time was because the heater was so high during the winter time. The second time it was equally as hot outside as inside (during the summer). The most recent time was a Safety hazard with their treadmills. I'm foolish enough to continue going back, but that by no means makes this a good gym.

Worked out here over the weekend during my stay in Gallup. Our hotel gym lacked everything so I drove 5 minutes to Cecil Garcia's because they had great hours and the photos showed they had treadmills.

They had clean restrooms, water fountains, great treadmills and all the free weights for my workouts!

The fitness center is great and new management and great staff. Timothy is an awesome manager and hes so friendly and follows policy and procedures. Im so glad there is new management. The staff is great too. I like going to the fitness center they make me and my family comfortable. This is a great place to go to work out. I give them all more than 5 stars. 😊

Members are nice and respectful, don't let the occasional gym yell make you think otherwise..uhhmmm.. the service is helpful but is sometimes stern -don't take it personal.
I really like it here, I'm on a $45 - One Month membership; I go frequently through out the week and it's never been closed or had any hiccup with the service they provide.
Probably going to get another month mem.
Weights (machine/free), courts (bball, vall, and raquet ball), tmills, bikes, Jacob's latter, Smaster, lockers (bring your own lock), showers, and steam. 👍

I like the fitness center to go workout but, I stopped going because I got the callanetics CD and OMG it really works your bottom line and much more all in the privacy of my home. The fitness center is truly a great place to workout but, I saved a lot of money just doing this at home.

Regaurdless of the signs that say be courtiouse to others about your time on the machines and please do not drop your weights. These rules are not enforced. There are people that lolly gag and text while their sitting on the machines and constantly dropping weights. Would appriciate if people had more respect for things tjat we all have to pay to use. Other than that its a great place
