Recovery area. Trash. Only two massagers work and never a consistent working scale JUST REPLACE THE DARN THING.

Love the Winrock location they always say hello and good bye.. Central and coors is closer but customer service is horrible. Every time I order a protein shake there is a girl with long black hair that sees you waiting, doesn’t not acknowledge you, does not look or say anything. If she is busy she won’t at least say “I’ll be right with you”. She doesn’t smile. She seems to always be in a bad mood. Also their water fountain is always broken.

I usually love this gym but their water fountains have been totally broken for a week now and that is simply unacceptable! Signs are posted that there is a plumbing issue, which I get, but you'd think management would be more on top of it since I don't know, people need water when they workout? If they provided free water bottles at the gym for the time being that would be fine, but this is not the case! Fix your water fountains!!!

Lots of broken things and they take forever to fix. Water fountains for a week, TV in recovery room for over a month. The scale was broken 5 months. Hydro beds are always down, machines, screens, etc. They set buckets out to catch leaking water for weeks. The activity/recovery self check kiosk was removed and that's inconvenient too.

Some of us have gym memberships our imsurance pays for so we have a list of any one one any day to go to skip this one for a while one fountain is broken been for a while other ones broken so no water amd the girl in the fronts super rude about using a sink guess its too hard so yea hit up any of the other ones for a while

I really like this gym! Great prices on the memberships. I specifically enjoy the Strength and Conditioning class taught by Alfred on Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30am. It is a nice full body workout. He has great energy and really motivates you. It starts the day off right!

Dont come to this location if you have kids going to childcare. Everytime we come there’s always an issue and we have never had any problems at any other location. The staff in the kids club are never friendly or welcoming. All other locations in Albuquerque welcome my kids with open arms and smiles on their faces EVERYTIME here we walk in and it’s like we’re a burden to them. Please hire workers that have a child friendly background if they are going to be working with kids because clearly the ones you have here hate there job

I wanted to share a great experience at Chuze Fitness thanks to Lex. She was incredibly helpful when she offered to sign up me and my family and there was a lot of us lol. Very spacious gym, with a variety of modern equipments that are in good condition, rarely broken, and well kept/maintained. This is the true definition of state of the art facility! Only complaint I have is that it does get too packed during peak hours. But who can blame them ? This gym is an absolute steal for the price they charge per month! It sells itself! Has everything that you need in order to accomplish your fitness goals! Can’t wait for chuze to grow and expand more!

Pickleball!!! Nah not here. Carlos at the front desk is all about being a jerk. He likes to help everyone but the Pickleball players. He won’t show you how reserve a court. Directs you to a run down bulletin board then laughs behind the counter as you struggle for 30 minutes to figure
out the process. All this and a second well Customer Service trained employee was able to get us in under 3 minutes. Next thing is the two courts where reserved for play and nobody showed up the entire hr and Carlos would not let us play. Can’t wait for the Picklr to open up and Defined Fitness. Moving from out of state and looking for a local gym. Carlos helped me make a more informed decision to spend my money elsewhere. I did speak to a manager and politely asked they retain their front desk staff.

Loved this place like it was a second home. Great staff who teacher the classes especially Mrs.Racheal who although having an injury would always show up for her body pump class!
Despite getting harassed back in October (nothing happened to that person ) i still kept going. Be cautious of your surroundings but by far the best gym I’ve gone to in NM. Sadly won’t be back & will miss the instructors most!

52g protein drink turned into a 30g protein after employee overfills the shaker with milk and the rest gets dumped into the sink. Not sure if they understand this is a lawsuit concern. Maybe over a million dollar fine due to this happening to all the people that buy from their snack bar. Today I witnessed the rude and racist act of this woman, who claimed to be a manager. She was very rude to the children's mother. A second manager arrived and couldn't control her colleague, who continued being very rude! This act must be punished, and I hope they fire that personnel! She can't treat customers like that, and she never showed respect or apologized! She was being very frantic and being very loud and rude, the kids of the lady she was harassing looked very scared because of the way this woman was acting. Today April 26, 2025 around 10:00 am I observed how a woman claiming to be Chuze's manager was harassing and offending a woman who was with her twins, the supposed manager was being too rude and even threatened the lady telling her that she had the power to take away her membership! What a shameful act that a worker who is there to serve us had such a horrible, racist, rude, threatening and very disrespectful attitude! The manager was following this woman everywhere, scaring those two little children because that manager was yelling loudly and ordering the woman to leave her premises as if she were the owner, the twins' mother was misleading more education! Please if there is a manager who can put that disrespectful Chuze worker in her place! Nobody has the right to humiliate and offend customers! The customer comes first!! She was intimidating those two little ones!! What a horrible act I witnessed! I just asked her to be respectful because thanks to us, she has a job! Today in the morning I was working out like at around 10:20 or so and I saw how a worker here be very disrespectful and basically stalk a woman with two toddlers and yelling at her to leave “her facility”, I found this to be quite racist since the woman didn’t seem to do anything wrong while the woman yelled at her and her kids to leave for absolutely no reason. It’s hard to be comfortable in a place when there’s blatant racism and discrimination. I honestly hope the mother makes a complain because this worker was being very racist and discriminatory.

I had a terrible experience today with one of the employees. I took my children to the kids club at 8:23 and they said I had until 10:30 to pick them up. Therefore, I went back at 10:10 but I forgot my backpack in the locker room and this individual started following me around, she was yelling at me and being rude. I had to take my children with me because I couldn’t let them there by themselves. They are only 2 years old!! I wanted to change my children’s diapers and she was still there staring like a stalker. I ask her what her problem was and she kept yelling saying I was not allowed there with my kids but I repeated to her that I have had forgotten my backpack, then she said that I exceeded the time at the kids club which was not true. I am so disappointed with the treatment of this individual, she said she was the manager, that she had the power of cancel my membership at any time and that I was violating the policies. I felt like a criminal, I did not do anything wrong, but taking care of my children? She could have been nicer and polite. I hope this serves as a way to make them change their manners and way of approaching.

Hopefully they’ll be able to live up to the other chuze. There are still equipment hogs with equipment very limited compared to the other locations. The cleaning stations and free weighted plates are in very sparse locations and the showers are cheaply done and barely work. I expect better soon.

This is the only Chuze location that closes an hour earlier, which forces members who typically come later in the evening to adjust their schedules and go earlier. Since the change, this location has become even more crowded. Parking is nearly impossible. Not only is the lot full, but nearby areas are too. Now, with the added enforcement of towing for vehicles parked outside designated spaces, the situation has only worsened. I’ve tried to avoid this location unless I’m prepared to spend 40 minutes circling the lot for a parking and I’ve deferred friends from here as well for the same reason. Just go to defined down the road👍

I absolutely love Chuze !
I have the Max membership and it’s worth every single penny. The Kids club has helped me stay consistent since November 2024. The Yoga classes are so awesome! The recovery room, even better. The employees are so friendly, and the smoothly bar is excellent! Lastly this gym is so well kept and very clean. Although defined fitness is closer to my home, I still come to Chuze instead because it’s so much better! Thank you for making my experience at Chuze so great, DAILY.

This gym is truly outstanding—spacious and accommodating, even during peak hours. It’s easily the best facility I’ve visited, offering an exceptional environment for workouts and activities. However, there’s some room for improvement in a few areas. The locker rooms and changing spaces are quite limited, and both the coed sauna and infrared sauna could be more effective at retaining heat. The large gaps at the bottom of the doors let in cold air, which diminishes the overall sauna experience. Despite these minor setbacks, the gym remains an excellent choice for fitness enthusiasts.

1. Way... too packed to get any work out done. Now they started closing an hour earlier because of "Not enough clock ins." That is the whole entire point of why I like going late. It's simply for crowd control. This makes Planet Fitness look like a gigantic party! It's inexcusable! Why am I paying you this money on a monthly basis to NOT be able to utilize the services being advertised? The elimination of that last hour may have me canceling depending on your response.
2. Every time I try paying with my credit card, it NEVER gets processed. I am always a month behind because they prefer having your bank account so they can secure their money. I've read the reviews about overdrafting accounts and continued bank drafting after cancelations. This exactly why NOBODY gets my bank account info. The prevent shady things this. I understand that you the merchant has to pay fees to the credit card companies to accept them as a form of payment. The part I don't understand is that why don't you simply charge a simple 2%-4% convenience fee to offset the costs. It's really not that difficult and I willing to pay that fee.
3. Nobody is enforcing the pictures and videos being taken in the bathrooms. At this point, I rather you just remove all the mirrors from the bathrooms.

The kids at these gym are loud. They scream all the time they pick and choose who they’re nice to. They close down smoothie bars early they need some older people working for them because the kids are just there messing around and for some reason they’re always closing that bar down early. I decided to end my membership, and use God's Gym. The person who helped me had a very lovely appearance, but for some reason my face made her Customer service skills malfunction and she became a deserter of Mannerisms. You can't treat some customers like Pawns and then others like Bishops, in my opinion. What if you mistake a Queen for Rook? 🗼, beautiful name and face for such a insecure demeanor. I've always been a firm believer, the color envy looks good on no one. Be kind to people, especially if you're at work, like they compensate you, to Not insert your "Psyche" into the job.

Cancelled my membership last year due to another member harassing me, and I am still being drafted the monthly fee due to not paying the cancellation fee, although I signed off on the contract stating it was $0. So, not only will they keep drafting money from your account, they will do absolutely nothing to provide a safe environment. And their “supervisor” is a tacky, unprofessional joke. Good luck to anyone who decides to sign up here.
