The gym is very well-kept and there are plenty of options for machines and equipment. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful. When a machine breaks it seems to be fixed immediately. I like the variety and quality of classes available. can’t speak to the pool or spa facilities as I have not ever used them, but the locker room seems to be clean and well maintained, as do all of the smaller side rooms. Overall I think it’s a well-run facility.

My Jam ❤. I love this location! I have ventured out to your other locations but I found they were lacking the friendliness of Chuze at Coors and Paseo! Greeted with a hello and a smile. Chuze does not accept Silver Sneakers for a day pass. I travel across the US and have never been told a gym would not accept Silver Sneakers payment. This means i would have had to pay $16 per visit for at 3x week to swim. This is extremely costly and excessive. Silver Sneakers has paid for each visit across the US in my experience with other gyms. This is extreme discrimination to retirees who need to swim and get regular exercise. I went to Defined Fitness today but believe this corporate decision should be reviewed and changed.

I signed up for a few weeks ago, I had an employee named Tanner help me sign up and he was very thorough and detailed with his initial tour of the gym and answered all my questions without being in a hurry. Since then every time I come in, even though they're a hundreds and hundreds of people he always says hi Robert, he remembered my name. What a great employee and asset to Chuze fitness, promote him to manager or supervisor!! Besides that, the gym is wonderful, not too crowded, and I always treat myself with a wonderful tasting smoothie here when I'm finished.

I debated whether to write this or not, it probably will not make much of a difference, but here it goes. My husband and I are under the city employee insurance which unfortunately forced us to change gyms, we chose Chuze and even though I am not a fan, it is covered by our insurance. From day one I noticed how rude and unprofessional the front desk staff is, but I go there to workout, so I didn’t really care much whether they greeted me or not, most of the time I was never greeted, again not an issue understanding that people are busy and whatnot. Last week on Sunday, after not being up with my infant, I decided to go workout a little earlier than normal, I usually put my headphones before I leave my car so I don’t stand in front of the lockers for too long, anyway, Savanah was working the front desk and she kept yelling “hi, hi, hi, hi” to the point that she got out of the front desk area and continued screaming “hi, hi, hi” I was in total disbelief, especially since I am not used to the staff greeting me and her lack of self control, after I did not reply. The thing is that I go to the gym to workout, it is the only time I get to myself and for someone to treat me like that first thing in the morning is just not ok. Do better!

I’ve hesitated several times before writing this review because I keep thinking that things will get better….but they don’t. I’ve been a member for 3 years and for the first 2 years everything was great. The staff was kind and helpful, the pool was always open and everything was clean. While I do recognize that machines break and the pool will occasionally become unbalanced there is no excuse for what has been going on this past year. Even when the pool is open it is usually murky and too hot for lap swimming. Now that the pool is closed so often I make sure to bring my workout shoes, etc but the main reason I signed up in the first place is to swim at 5am. There is no notice or warning to members that the pool is down which prompts people to get angry. A few days ago I was on my way out and employee was mocking a guest because she had complained to him about the pool. He was openly joking and telling the other front desk people about it. I don’t know how you expect us to feel but at the very least try to have some understanding. Overall this gym has become more disappointing and I’m rethinking my commitment. I also Ty ink you need to fire your pool guy because he clearly is lacking basic science skills.

I can’t begin to explain the insanity here and them forcing you to re scan in after you run to your car for something. They have stopped us every day this week after scanning to verify membership and waste our time. There is no personalization here, they have some insane corporate policy just to piss you off when you’re in a hurry. I’ve never seen anything like it, living in 4 states and going to 6 different gyms over 20 years of working out.
I was going to switch from VASA -> Chuze but this week changed it! I’m switching off these corporate “gyms” and going to a locally owned non planet fitness type ✌️

Great gym to workout. It has everything you need at the fraction of the cost of places like NMSW. Only drawbacks of this location is the parking during peak times and it can be over crowded at certain times. Besides that I would definitely recommend joining here and getting a membership. It's nice to have a gym that has a juice bar so you can get a protein shake right after your workout.

I love the atmosphere, the body composition scale, and hydro chair. The smoothie bar. I love the perks of saving points for contest or smoothies.

However, I am a small woman. Of 60 and I have been coming to Chutz for two years it seems that many of the weight machines are not designed for the not so toned woman. The stomach crunchers both have bars you pull forward. This is not suitable for those with more delicate shoulders. Arm machines start with weights too high off the ground or too much weight. Some just don’t accommodate shorter people.

False advertisement on protein drinks... it says to have 52 oz of protein but by the time the finish the protein shake is less than 2 scoops due to mixing procedure and throwing away part of what is mixed together. More than half of my mix was dumped so i payed $8 for a 30g protein when it says 52g. Girl said they werent able to serve it on anotgher cup and that i had payed for 20 oz and not 52g of protein.

I adore this gym! It's got everything, the staff are amazing, especially in the kids' club – they know our son by name and he loves to play there. It's such a lifesaver for us, and great value. There has been several times over the past 6 months that I have questioned if some of the people who are in this gym are members. They don't have workout clothes on, are dirty or are just sitting around. Last week a guy in dirty white pants with all his belongings (I have seen several times in the same attire) was oddly sitting in the pool area close to the shower and seemed to be taking pics of members in the hot tub and pool area. I alerted staff but they seemed to brush it off like he is always here so no biggie!!! IT IS NOT OK TO BE IN AREAS WHERE WOMEN or MEN ARE HALF NAKED AND UR NOT SWIMMING OR USING THE FACILITIES PROPERLY. Another member told me she has seen him during the week when she gets out of the sauna and she felt he took her picture in a bathing suit. Again with regular clothes on and all his belongings. Has Chuze become a homeless camp or a place for thieves to come and go as they please!!!!??? I'm very disappointed in the fact that the sauna, steam rooms and hot tub have also been down lately because of "vandalism and tampering or just filthy people in the hot tub without showering so it needs cleaned ....again). Chuze is our choice but we r now looking into other options because this nonsense is unacceptable for a premium gym membership!!!! Step it up!!!

This is the second time in my first month at this gym that the pool is closed. I pay for the highest membership to use the pool because of my injuries. Also, what's the point of getting the highest membership to access other gyms if the other locations are going to close down their pools at the same time?! Higher ups need to figure out how to effectively communicate with customers other than to direct us to a FB page that isn't specific to our city. Or at least communicate with the other locations and inform your customers "hello, pool at this location is closed/open". Now I have to call daily to 2 locations in anticipation of one of them opening up because I'm stuck in a yearly contract.

Hands down the reception staff and kids club staff are amazing. I know that it's "only" a gym, but if you go multiple times a week, you really do pay attention to how staff address you and how they interact with members, etc. And at this location they're amazing. I also like the gym, (I've been to the one on Central and didn't like the layout of that one AT ALL) the layout works very well, I like that they have sections for each type of workout, the grass, the weights, the machines... I don't necessarily had to wait too long for any equipment to become available, if it's busy I just go do something else and check later if it's free. If someone does some sort of specific workout routine I can see them being frustrated that a specific weight machine or whatever isn't available at an exact moment. I love the cinema, that was a great idea! And the HydroMassage beds are amazing, even though some vary in pressure so I ask for specific ones. Some things I'd improve: the front bathroom needs some deep cleaning, the sink has black buildup and the room always smells like urine. The sauna lights are very bright, I would dim them a bit. Ladies bathroom can use some Kleenex, and I wish the dryer head could turn so girls can dry their hair a bit after a workout. Sometimes the AC in the cinema and hydromassage doesn't work well and it becomes very hot and stuffy in those small rooms. The biggest problem for me was probably the broken front lockers, the mechanism would get stuck so you check one after another for a good one.

At 5 AM, securing a cable machine is nearly impossible, as the gym only has four available. The lack of weights is just as frustrating—members frequently take weights mid-set due to the inadequate supply. Frankly, even my local school gym is better equipped than this facility.

Beautiful gym but I signed up mainly because I had access to the sauna. Their sauna has super bright fluorescent lights inside, super disappointing. I’ve never been to a sauna that’s brightly lit, usually they have dim lights or no lights inside. The chuze off central has a no light sauna and it’s 100% better but it’s farther from me. If the saunas weren’t lit like a Walmart inside I would give 5 stars

My Mom wanted to try the 7 day trial to use the hot tub for pain, but the hot tub is already out of service again so it’s a waste of her trial period. As a member I can confirm that the hot tub is always closed for long periods of time. They never provide a heads up on the website or an estimated time that it will be working again.

EDIT: In response to the owners reply, I spoke with a rep today prior to writing my review and they explained the “infrared sauna” logistics to me. I understand that but it doesn’t change the fact that I prefer (as well as other gym members who showed their dissatisfaction) a sauna that actually feels hot. I don’t care about anything else concerning that. When I’m in a sauna, I expect it to be hot.

This gym is okay and comparable to Planet Fitness. It’s crowded no matter what time you go which isn’t a bad thing; just something to be prepared for. The gym is clean and I’m always greeted upon entering. The low rating is due to the sauna. It’s not like your traditional sauna so it doesn’t get hot at all. At most you’ll get a lukewarm experience. I’ve been to all Chuze gyms in this area and the Winrock location actually had one sauna room that was hot like your traditional sauna. They all have different equipment so it’s hard to say which location is the best. I like some equipment options that the others don’t have. Overall Chuze is your average gym with nothing standout about them.

The gym is always very clean and well maintained. The atmophere is inviting but not overwhelming. There are plenty of machines to use, and the staff is welcoming and professional. I usually don't like gyms, but I now go to Chuze three times a week on average. Great gym!

This is the cleaner gym. I ever experienced.
The bathroom is wash and disinfect in a professional manner. The staff is very friendly, and the experience is complete fitness.
