The workouts were good, but the negative factors ultimately outweighed them.
Scheduling can be challenging due to the waiting lists. It can be frustrating to wait for a spot in a class, especially since you can’t plan anything else for that time or day, just in case you’re accepted. If you do get a spot and don’t show up, there is a charge.
Unfortunately, the staff experience was not positive either. The girl at the front desk is neither friendly nor welcoming, which detracts from the overall experience. Some instructors are not nice, which can be intimidating, especially if it's your first time doing Pilates and you're unfamiliar with the equipment. I felt self-conscious and dumb while trying to learn something new, and that negatively impacted my overall experience.
Maybe it’s just my personal perspective, but as a beginner, I had hoped for a more supportive environment. Ultimately, I decided to cancel my membership and take my business elsewhere.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP!! Beware there is no easy way to cancel your membership once you have joined. You have to cancel in person or in writing (on a special form they have to email you-not just writing them an email requesting cancellation). Often times there is no front staff and they do not answer the phone or return messages. No directions/link on website to cancel. Sent email and left messages with intent to cancel, took an additional 2 months-of having membership fees deducted-to finally have membership cancelled. Shame on you Club Pilates. Cancellation of membership should not be a scam of getting additional membership fees out of people.

And if you do have a membership, it’s impossible to join a class as they all have waitlists, with only 12 slots per class.
If you what to take a class, just sign up and pay the single class cost. But do not get trapped in the scam of a membership at Club Pilates!!

After attending and loving this studio for 7 months I fell on a walk and broke my wrist severely. After 3 months recovering I took some private training sessions with Deanna. She went above and beyond. She researched and helped me build strength and flexibility while showing me modifications. I’m now back to attending classes and am able to do most everything, I am truly grateful! All of the instructors are helpful and kind.

I love this place. Pilates has changed my life. These folks continuously help me up my game. The instructors are awesome. I learn something new at almost every class. I particularly love when they provide personal recommendations for corrections or modifications and/or point out opportunities to challenge myself.

Really love the classes there! Pricey, but worth it. Every class feels like something different, which makes it really fun. The instructors are great. They've really helped me make a huge, positive lifestyle change that I needed.

BUYER BE WEAR The first couple of classes were fun but the one class that made us decide not to come back was an instructor who was very rude and made us feel unwelcome. We were new to the class and the instructor did not have alot of patience with us. Canceling the membership was very difficult. It is a rip off when Canceling. Once you cancel you still have to pay for the next 30 days. I was charged for an extra 2 months. It is not worth the money

Called to ask questions since I am new to the Pilates realm. I talked with Samantha and she was just the most helpful, super kind, and had outstanding customer service! I had called to ask questions before and didn't get much info from the lady then. But Samantha helped me and even offered me a free intro class to see if i'd even enjoy pilates. She was super helpful and just the sweetest young lady! I plan to get my membership soon and start my pIlates journey!! Thank you again Samantha!

I tried the free class today and I can see it would be a good workout out. I was running a little behind so was unable to show up early but showed up right on time for class to start. The instructor seemed irritated with me and wasn’t the nicest. She didn’t approach me to ask my name or introduce herself. That would not have taken too much time. After all , this is an intro class to attract clients. I will not be returning. Not to mention that it is extremely expensive. We were also told that because we are “guests” she will wipe down our equipment but if we join she won’t be doing that again. She said it as if she was joking but she wasn’t. Frankly I can’t stand the fake nice act. She was rude.

I recently signed up for Club Pilates, paying a membership fee as well as purchasing 4 classes. The classes had to be used within certain time limits. However, I was unable to schedule the classes---certainly not class at my level---even scheduling two weeks out. Every class has a wait list. Some classes have 8 people on the waitlist for a facility that has, maybe 12 reformers? One time I was notified that I had made it into an 8 am class via an email sent at 11:30 pm. No text or phone update either. Since I didn't cancel, I was charged. I feel I've thrown my money away. While it can't meet current demand, Club Pilates aggressively pursues new members.

I would advise against joining Club Pilates as it appears to be a scam aimed at taking advantage of people. I was a member for almost 9 months and experienced several issues. In addition to the monthly membership fee, they charged me twice $10 and once $15 for canceling my class. When my family came down with the flu (common cold) on the morning of my Pilates class, I called to inform them. They assured me it was no problem but later billed me anyway. When I called to dispute the charge, the person I spoke with was incredibly rude and demanded medical evidence for a refund.

A few months prior, I canceled a class 11 hours in advance and texted them to let them know my child was sick. However, they still charged me $10. It took me a week to get a refund after showing them documentation of my child's emergency visit. Looking back, I should have canceled my membership then and there.

As a full-time student and employee with a child and no other support, I found it disappointing that a women-owned business showed no sympathy. I recommend joining a yoga class instead, which provides exercise and mindfulness at a price without extra charges. Please be cautious as I feel that Club Pilates takes advantage of others and has no understanding that life happens

I recently signed up for the top tier membership at Club Pilates with high hopes of enjoying a consistent and fulfilling workout routine. However, my experience with the club has been far from satisfactory. While there are a few positive aspects, the overall service and policies have left me disappointed and frustrated.

One of the major issues I encountered was the significant delay in scheduling my first workout. It took nearly two weeks for me to secure a session due to a backlog of appointments. This delay caused me to lose out on valuable workout time during my first billing cycle, which was disheartening.

Another point of contention was their cancellation policy. Club Pilates has a strict 12-hour cancellation rule, which requires members to pay a fee if they cancel within that timeframe. However, on several occasions, I received notifications of class availability with less than 12 hours notice, sometimes as little as 6 to 10 hours. This made it nearly impossible for me to adjust my schedule accordingly and avoid the cancellation fee. In one instance, I received notice at 9:08 p.m. for a class starting at 8:00 a.m., I was in bed during the notification leaving me unable to attend but still being charged for the cancellation.

Adding to my frustration, the club's communication was lacking. Despite their classes starting as early as 5:30 a.m., I was only able to reach a live person through their customer service line at 7:00 a.m., after leaving a message earlier that morning. The delay in response time and the inability to resolve the issue promptly left me feeling unheard and frustrated.

Given the one-sided nature of their policies and the unsatisfactory communication, I made the decision to request a full refund and cancel all my future classes. It's disheartening to have to discontinue my membership, especially considering that there were a few great trainers at the club. However, I cannot support an organization that fails to prioritize the needs and concerns of its members.

If you're considering Pilates as a fitness option, I would recommend exploring alternative studios or clubs that offer a more reliable and member-friendly experience. While Club Pilates may have some positive aspects, the overall lack of organization and customer-centric policies make it difficult to justify continuing my membership.

Natalee, did the very best job that she could do but unfortunately due to their one sided policies her hands were tied.

I love this place! I did a free intro advertised on Facebook and fell in love. The staff are super sweet and attentive! I’m really shaky after coming back around from a health scare and they offered me a juice box and a seat so I could gather myself. In the process of signing up, I had some financial issues the patience everyone I worked with had was amazing. I did my first full class last week and am hopeful I can move up the waitlist this week too. I really like Linn (sorry if I spelled wrong), she has a lovely voice and is so easy to learn from. All of the ladies at the front desk are kind and warm and willing to help. Shoutout to my new favorite place to go! Yes it’s a little pricey but all self care can be in a way.

There are no package costs online and I find that super shady. you can see the price of one class after you sign up - $31. They list packages but when you click see more they just prompt you to sign up for “free beginner class” which is a 30 minute class on specific days. I found a random website that has these prices and they seemed affordable for pilates until I saw a review that says they have a $100 cancellation fee for memberships. Ew. Also shady. Stick with local, there’s a nice studio on Constitution.

I am not a gym person and was searching for an alternative to strengthen and tone, especially as I get older. I found the solution for me in these pilates classes and have been enjoying the reformer for over 20 months. Hopefully, the shut down will end soon, so we can get back to toning those abs! Kudos to the terrific staff and instructors who make us want to return, week after week.

I enjoy the whole body work out. But I feel the best part are the small classes (capped at 12 students). This allows the instructor to give each student guidance during class. Every time I leave a Pilates class I feel stronger, taller and more confident.

I love Club Pilates! I read all the reviews and as far as getting charged a fee for cancelling - I think it holds people accountable. Since there are limited spots - this allows time for those on a wait list to be notified. I've been working out for 30 years and think it is great for someone with no or a lot of experience - every session is different and perhaps most importantly -fun! 50 minutes feels like 5 minutes and I feel stronger, more balanced when I go to yoga and stronger in my core. I'm now an addict! And they have cute apparel for sale :)

At first I was unsure of how long I would stick with pilates as I love to lift weights and I love a good sweat with some intense cardio, but I was curious so I signed up- I can now say that I am obsessed with Pilates and will stick with it. I love how I feel and my abs have never been stronger! It is an amazing workout and now that I am advancing to the higher level classes I am starting to sweat my toosh off because the workouts are so good! I feel so strong and it has made my cardio days better as my body feels stretched and my core is strong. The members are so nice and the staff and instructors have been so great and knowledgeable. I have nothing but good to say about club Pilates. Try it! Give it a month and I bet you'll be a believer!

I was a dedicated Pure Barre client and was very happy with the studio. Unfortunately, they closed in November so I had to move on and find another studio. I then stumbled onto Club Pilates. I had expectations that the classes would be challenging like all the Barre and Pilates classes that I have taken in the past. I’ve been practicing Pilates for over a decade and have a reformer, barre and chair at home.
Here my list on the Pros and Cons

Cons
1. Beware of contract!
- They lured me into signing a 3 month contract prior to trying a class. They had an excellent sales staff that was very convincing that I would be getting an excellent workout and would be happy. I tried classes for a week and was very disappointed.
- I would recommend reading carefully prior to signing. Do not skim the contract and sign.
- I would go month to month. I would never sign a contract for 3 month auto-renewal. You may think your saving money but it may end up costing you more.

2. Not a barre workout
- If you are looking for a barre workout this is not the place. There are no free weights in the beginning of class. There is no such thing as “shaking” or muscle endurance. They didn’t even have a plank or push up series.

3. Location
- It’s not close to the highway and it takes some time and gas to travel to class every day.

4. Not challenging
- If you never done Pilates and don’t work out too much this is the place for you!
- I don’t think it would be good for clients who work out religiously.
- I wasn’t getting a fullbody workout so I landed up going to two studios.

5. Fee’s
- If you don’t cancel within 12 hours’ notice they charge you $10 dollars. This can add up! You must sign up to hold your spot because space is limited. A person assumes that they will be at class and life happens and you can’t make it. Most studios have a 2 hours grace period of cancellation. 12 hours is a little extreme. In one month I got charged an extra $20 because I didn’t cancel within the 12-hour period.
- Wellness portal fee is $30 charged when you first sign up. It basically a fee that enables you to use there Pilates application. Why? Should a client have to pay for this?
- $100 cancellation fee if you’re on contract.

6. 30-day written notice of cancelation
- If you’re on auto-renewal you pay until 30 days has lapse.
- You have to go to the studio in person to sign the cancellation agreement. They don’t have an e-sign or take emails for cancellations. The signing maybe postponed because you have to go in person. Why?

7. Cost
- The cost is affordable for Pilates classes so that’s a plus which was around $145/ month. It costed me more money because I was having to go to two studios to get an effective workout therefore $236/ month. There was an $100 cancellation fee. The time and gas traveling to studio. The 12 hour late cancellation fee which in December was $20.

Pros
1. Clean
2. Sanitary
3. Friendly instructors
4. Cost is affordable for Pilates classes
