I travel a lot so I frequent several PF loacrions across the states. The young man working was very nice and welcoming. The bathrooms and facilities were very clean. The massage bed was great. A nice variety machines and free weights. Thanks for a great experience!

I’ve tried to cancel my membership three separate times — once in person, twice by phone — and every time they’ve either refused or “promised to take care of it” and kept charging me anyway.

To make it worse, they changed my $10 plan to a $30 plan without my consent after I told them to cancel. I haven’t even set foot in this gym since 2023, and they have the records to prove it.

When I called to speak with the manager, he either dodged my calls or made excuses. I even had to involve my bank (Wells Fargo) to stop the payments, and somehow Planet Fitness still found a way to charge me.

This location feels like a money trap. Be careful — they make it easy to sign up but nearly impossible to cancel. I’m now out hundreds of dollars because of their unethical practices.

Save yourself the headache and go somewhere that respects their customers and their word.

Decent gym with nice, newer equipment. Lately, the management does not seem to care about the state of the gym as they did when I started. The men’s locker room usually smells kinda terrible and is dirty/unkept. The gym floor is kept acceptably clean, though. There are frequently vagrants around the entrance (even have seen excrement outside a couple times that tends to linger). Lately, they have allowed a member to make extended stays in the locker room with all of his dirty belongings during the afternoons despite complaints. This isn’t a problem in itself, but it smells excessively horrible to the point where it’s hard to tolerate being in there even after they leave. Have complained with no results, hence the review.

Just not the same anymore from when I first started coming here, there's a unhappy dull boring atmosphere going on and in my opinion they need some happy smiling people up front with genuine pleasantries and not ones who judge you behind your back,and believe me, there's a few. Bad front desk workers.
They are sloppy, and pushy for you to scan your phone. The workers act as if everyone doesn't have a membership the second you walk in.
Not only that, but I have been a pf member for 4 years. I go in here with my girlfriend and I just want to drop her off at her machine, i tell the front worker that, and he says he can't let me go past to "use the facilities" unless I scan in. It's a damn gym not the oval office.
You get treated rough here, and well quite frankly all customer service around ABQ is mostly this way. Just young 18-26yr olds who don't give a damn about making you happy.

Tge is not a slam on planet fitness i had to deal with the staff at another location and they were unbelievable and I would go there if it wasn't so far. The atmosphere, the mind set that Everyone has here with no judgement and no criticism of ones shape. The friendliest staff i have ever met.

As well as maintaining this place clean at its highest level of disinfecting. Using their proper cleaning tools like the Virex 256 II but i suggest they use Alpha HP its a 30 second dewell time instead of waiting 10 mins. Or the Sister "Oxivir Tb wipes" which it is a 1 min dewell time or the "Jfill" which will be 3 min wait time.

I like the way they always greet you in the morning and before you go on your day.

There always there to spread advice when you need it or help you with their equipment when you don't know how to use it.

I really thank them for all the patience and great customers service they always give; no matter how down you are on your bad day, they seem to transmit that good positive energy vibe. Thank you so much! 👍🏼😊 We appreciate you team Planet fitness!

My mom and I enjoyed PF three early mornings a week. We utilized the 30 minute workout area. It met our needs (I am 65 my mom 83). We were excited to return after the new equipment was installed - imagine our dismay when we went to work out as usual and the 30 minute workout area was no longer! The staff are cool, facility is clean, there is plenty of equipment and room. The space is open and I like the windows, it adds to openness of the room. The hydromassage beds are a plus for me. Especially b/c I have chronic pain. So, after a good workout it is nice to get a massage and listen to some healing herts to help relax.

Love this planet fitness!! The 24hrs has been my life saver, it’s always clean and the night crew is so friendly.. I do go during the later hours and Albuquerque being Albuquerque you always have to be on guard, but I’ve never had any security problems and feel super safe, bonus they have Security guard too that constantly driving around and aware so feel safe to be there anytime of day..

I lost my debit card a few months back. Finally went back today. There was a fee I had to pay but Alex and his Co worker talked it out with me and we reached an agreement. Big, clean, great hours and recently remodeled! The only thing keeping this from a 5 star review is the shower stalls. A curtain across the changing area outside of the actual stalls would go a LONG way for privacy, and some sort of bench or stall in that area would give guests a place to rest their bags so the hooks wouldn’t be coming out of the wall already due to constantly having too much weight on them.

Shoutout to Jerome and his manger Kano (from right to left of the picture.) My dad and I have been attending this gym for years and I’ve been using my dad’s black card guest pass for months now, only until today was approached by Jerome, the guy with the gross neck tats, telling me that my dad needs to be there for me to use the gym. And if that’s really their policy, then I have NEVER been told this and neither has my dad, and like I said I’ve been using his guest pass for months and they showed me the amount of times I’ve logged in, which was between 20 and 30 and again not once have I been told anything until today. It doesn’t just in there, because after Jerome told me that he’d be getting his manager he walked away with another member saying “she’s got an attitude, but she’s cute about it.” This is beyond inappropriate coming from an employee and he didn’t deny saying it because when I brought it up to his manager, Kano from the left side of the picture who was equally just as rude, he said “no I was talking about someone else, but you can say whatever you want,” so he knew exactly where he went wrong. My dad showed up to the gym a couple minutes later to adjust the situation and he was also very upset about the fact that we have never been told about this issue, Jerome wasn’t even able to look at either one of us in the eyes after that, and I could see them both visibly shaking so that was definitely a signification that they knew they were in the wrong. They are both cowards who thought they could bully a young lady, it’s funny how respectful they started to act once my dad arrived, another indication of their fear.
We canceled our membership with them there and then. I expect both Kano and Jerome to be confronted and for this situation to be addressed, otherwise I’ll just assume that it’s not being taken seriously and that’s not going to be unacceptable.

Changed rating from 5 to 3 stars because in the last few months the cleanliness has taken a sharp turn. Not sure what happened, but the bathroom sinks are brown and the floors are gross. I've also noticed that the AC hasn't really been working for the last few weeks, which makes the workouts here really uncomfortable.

I have been a customer for a while. I give a 1 star because of the staff and cleanliness. I don’t leave reviews much but it’s hard not to. I want to get with actual 24 hour gyms. I get that there might not be staff on hand, but I’ve seen plenty of 24 hour gyms allow access to loyal customers that need to be there past 7 PM. Don’t advertise yourself as a 24 Hour Place when you’re not. My schedule as a business owner is not the same as people working a 9-to-5 job and sometimes at the end of the day when I’m off at six I would like gym session time. I guess the proper thing to do is to switch my gyms to actual 24 hour gym the reason why I have planet fitness is because I travel to many states so I’m kind of stuck in a rut.
