I’m trying all the different planet fitness locations in ABQ and so far this one has been my fav! This is the one they need to show to other managers etc. the bathrooms were clean and lovely and spacious! Everyone was nice! It was such a good location I wish it was closer to me!

An OG gym, this is where I first started my fitness journey. The machines are absolutely great, especially how well kept and maintained they are. Never broken like the other gyms have it lol. Only complaint, the men’s restrooms were a bit filthy, counters were stained and as well as the toilet seats. No bueno. Just have one of your 2 guys at the front clean the restroom occasionally every 1-2 hours. Of course, it’s understandable if you only have one person up at the front. But, if y'all can keep the restroom well maintained and clean, I’d definitely get a membership here again. No hate. 💪🏻

Was a great place just to tan, but the customer service and front desk people are incompetent. They can not link your bank right, and after complaining for months, it is just not worth it. Working out here is a JOKE! Only new years resolution people or beginners work out here. Not for anyone serious about working out and achieving goals. Would never recommend planet fitness unless you can not afford a real gym!

the worst possible customer service experience is no customer service at all. That is unfortunately the case here. You cannot call them. The phone number routes to an automated call tree that redirects the call to various prerecorded messages. As a result, there is no way change your home club without physically appearing. A problem for people who live far away and need to change their home club.

Would appreciate it if you could talk on the phone to change club membership details. You can't do this online or at the planet fitness you want to transfer your membership home club setting to. Every day I call and they have never answered. I don't think it's an actual phone number that rings the front desk at this point.

Nobody answers the phone, so you cannot manage the club membership in any way without going in. Website refers you to the phone to change home clubs. If you move and dont stop in to transfer your membership to another club, you will be trapped with this as your home club because, and i cannot stress this enough, they do not under any circumstances pick-up their phone ever. I have called everyday for a week at various times of day. I have spoken to corporate. They have reached out on my behalf and also failed to get more than a voicemail. I live in a different state now and cannot go in to speak with them.

The employees here are so sweet. One lady, who seemed to be the manager, was so helpful helping me while teaching the girl at the fromt desk how to register a first time guest pass. She was even helping clean at one point. So much respect for her.

The gym was quite when i was there. Has everything you would need for a solid workout. Also much cleaner than every gym ive been to.

Love that it’s 24hrs. Problem is various equipment will remain broken for time and all they have on 30 tv’s they have is infomercials and food network. Ask if we can get ESPN and some excuse about the cable provider. Made no sense. Sorry but enjoy (and did enjoy for 2 years) watching highlights of various sports.

Kudos for having a two compartment shower so I can keep an eye on my stuff while showering. Clean stall with soap dispenser that actually had soap in it, but water temp was pitiful, at best. Most of my shower was cold, the last third was tepid. Water pressure was good.

The showers were extremely disgusting and filthy. I do not recommend this location, when we arrived all the staff were hanging out talking and having fun in the entrance, meanwhile the bathrooms were looking like this.

The equipment was new and clean. It was a very enjoyable workout. Lovely staff and community, my issue was when I got to showers… they look like they haven’t seen bleach in months. Shavings/hair and trash in the stalls built up grime around the shower seal, broken shower head. They use to be very upkept and it was disappointing today.

So I have a lot to say about planet fitness I started with planet fitness about going on a year and a half ago I'm content and I'll be with how far I've come but this stuff is been excellent whether it been a change and stuff many times no matter what I'm being able to have relationships with the people that work there how beautiful and caring they are respectful like if they known you for years which is a good feeling thank you to those that work in the morning I appreciate you all very much I look forward to seeing you all this part of my physical self care time..... So far it fits the very limited need I have for a basic facility. If there's an issue it's the $50 "maintenance" fee that's is not a join fee or admission fee. It's a start up fee. Other than that, the place is clean but very limited in equipment. You'll need to be there when no one else is. Between 10 and 2 to use the free weights.

Been using this gym throughout the year, Its a good gym, staff are all nice and welcoming, one of the Planet Fitness' I enjoy going to. If you want to go when it’s not too crowded, go after 10pm or early afternoon, between 5-10pm it gets crowded and you have to wait on machines and the free weight bench.

I'm very happy with any fitness at the beginning of the year I decided I would try to persevere my life and start trying to let myself and take care of yourself better at the age of 51 I find that I can do a lot more than what I thought I could do I've been going to the gym since January I started at 3:17 I'm down to 250 and I'm very very proud and happy that I went and got this membership at planet fitness because it's a big part of my life the staff is great a couple of times I've had misunderstandings with a couple of workers but overall this is the place that used to go to 3x's out of my week I'm happy 😊😁 I just wish they would have explained things a little bit better when I got the membership.... DIRTY SHOWERS!!!! : # Everything at this location is extremely clean.....except for the showers. Scrub brush+Ajax + elbow grease. Would fix it. Lots if youngsters working. I think it just takes experience cleaning showers 🚿 to know that wiping down doesn't cut it. Employees are EXTREMELY friendly. Everything else is perfect.

Best gym ever! Great community, everyone is super caring and supportive. From staff to members they all take care of you. Every morning, everyone greets each other with a smile, which really helps you get a good start to a workout. I once had an accident where I was nearly fainting and the staff was quick to help with snacks and company until I was feeling better. Couldn’t ask for a better place to be.

Close by, inexpensive, CLEAN. I would give them 5 stars if they were a little more forthcoming about the chemical that they use on their daily cleanup. When I asked the people at the counter they said they didn't know.. When I looked at the website they said that it's the state-of-the-art antibacterial spray Just telling me it's the state-of-the-art is not actually a chemical term. When you use sleazy salesman comments like that you damage your credibility. On the whole the place is clean and in very good repair. I will go there frequently. Update: They have new cardio machines! Shiny and nice. Staff still friendly and a great place to go.

Stopped at the location north of here on Coors yesterday and was disgusted at the facility there. But this one is top notch. Clean, bright and welcoming. Manager didn’t let me workout as a guest when I had someone else sign up for a black card, because I had a balance due from 2015. Yet, I’ve had memberships around the city, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Tampa Bay, with no issues about a past due balance.
When I asked the manager for a ledger of charges, nothing could be provided to me, and then he suggests “going half” on the balance due. As if this 7 year debt was negotiable.
Who can I reach besides the manager for issues?? He refused to give me a reference to someone above him.
