First of all i want to say that the staff is great! Now for the Big problems!!! As a Black Card Member you are promised and expect certain things .... like the Black Card lounge to be in good working conditions at ALL TIMES!!! Clovis PF NEVER is!!!!! All 3 hydro-massage beds are down right now and at BEST, only 2 work never all of them. Tanning bed # 4 bulbs haven't been changed in 4 MONTHS AND BED # 3 EVEN LONGER!!! When I asked about these issues, it's ALWAYS a complaint about the maintenance man. Apparently he shows up, stays on his phone and doesnt do his job. It seems to me that there is a VERY BIG break down in the managerial chain!!!!! The Regional manager is not doing their job, by not ensuring that the gym manager is doing their job, by not ensuring that the maintenance is doing their job!!! I THINK ITS TIME TO GET A NEW MAINTENANCE PERSON!!!!! DO BETTER!!!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!!

I’m a truck driver so parking is the first concern and this location was good, I parked on the street to the right of the gym without issues. Showers hot, water fountain cold, all equipment was good, zero complaints. I will be back if I’m in the area

This is the worst Planet Fitness location I have ever been to. They are not trustworthy at all and they will bill you ridiculous amounts between $200.00-$500.00 per month and outside of your billing date. Although I was told it was a glitch and they fixed it i continued to have the same problem to where Dustin (former management) took care of my account an ended up having to open me up a new account because my account was still getting hit with high amounts of money taken out. This time I’ve asked for my account to be in freeze due to a lot of traveling I’ve been doing and there was no need for the account to be active if I was not going to be using it. The girl froze my account, I asked her if there was anything else I needed to do and she said no that I was fine until May before the yearly fee was going to be charged. Come to find out she lied to me, my account was only froze for one month and supposedly I had to continue to freeze every four months if I wanted it to continue being froze. So now I’m being charged a $54.18 fee that I will not be paying because this was a mistake on there end that there not trying to fix. There customer service is garbage and they now have Hannah Shirley as manager there who is unknowable and garbage along with the some of the staff members there as well as the gym that is dirty most the time with maintenance that should be done and disgusting restrooms that are not worth going into. Overall I will not recommend this location to anyone. Enter at your own risk, there not even worthy of the one star I gave and they only have that because I had to leave at least one to leave this detailed review.

I love this gym . The machines are high quality and easy to understand . The customers are awesome . There is no gymtimidation at all . Everybody is friendly and courteous . When I moved to Clovis, I needed to find a gym, and the first time I came in to see about joining I was welcomed by a very friendly attendant at the desk, and he said to me, "Take a look around, I'm confident you'll love our gym and join"

He was right- I did join. The gym is big, and I workout early (5:30a - 6:30a).

There are a good amount of people there, but it's not overcrowded. The staff is always professional and friendly. It's a good gym experience, thank you

UPDATE: The owner replied with the usual copy and pasted script, claiming hours are adjusted when they in fact (weekend hours) have not when I called to check today. The management of this gym is untrustworthy and continues to provide false information via scripted answers. All they want is your money. Your satisfaction is of no concern to them folks. If you were considering cancelling your membership then this might as well be your sign to avoid giving your money to people that run businesses like this. They are milking your pockets and still cutting your membership hours hoping you never notice or that you are too busy to complain.

You can pay the same price for PF in a different city and actually get 24/7 access to the gym. This gym offers the worst hours on weekends. Who closes their gym at 7pm? Why am I paying the same price as others in different cities that do have 24/7 access?

Take your money and run folks, all other gyms in Clovis offer 24/7 access. I would highly recommend utilizing them instead, as the owners of this one are robbing folks by cutting corners and staff hours.

So I’m visiting Clovis, NM and I’ve been to many PFs all over and even worked for a few and this one by far is the dirtiest one I’ve ever been in. In the hour I was there I barely seen one employee do a walkthrough of gym and she was just refilling the Virex bottles and wiping down the trash can lids. This gym needs cleaned bad. Dust bunnies all over the gym and most equipment I used was very dusty.

I really like this gym. There are so many machines and the staff is friendly. It is clean here and the towels and sanitizer are always stocked. I gave another review months ago, and I was contacted about my one criticism. And the manager corrected the problem immediately. It's been perfect.

Planet Fitness is a great place to be more active. It is perhaps not the place for the 5% of gymgoers who want to do serious bodybuilding, but for the other 95% of us, it is a good experience. I say this mainly because there are not the standard benches and squat racks which are seemingly necessary for hardcore bodybuilders, and the free weights only go up to 75 lbs. They have good, safe equipment that is easy to use. It is a bit crowded at times, but there is always something to do if you are flexible. The place is well-kept and clean. I have always found the staff to be considerate and welcoming. The clientele does cover the broad spectrum of society, although it does veer more to the kinder, gentler side. For the price, this simply can not be beat.

Staff Is Great and friendly, however they place five people on one shift at times...I honestly think they could sparse them out so maybe the gym can stay open a little longer. I pay a pretty penny for my membership however the HOURS SUCK! Closing at 7 on a SATURDAY?! What world are they living in? A mother with two kids and a full time job here! How is it they close at 11 on week days and 7pm on the weekend. Honestly considering cancelling my membership. There is NO AC. Cable ropes unavailable. I do need time to workout and these hours the GM have in place just does doesn't make it realistic. DO BETTER PLANET FITNESS!!

Nice staff, clean and had a nice equipment selection. This is definitely not a weight lifting gym but has enough equipment to get a decent workout in. No barbells & dumbbells only go to 75lbs. There are several signs that say “Judgement Free Zone” however, on the wall the have an alarm with a flashing light that stated if you grunt, slam weights or look like you’re judging they will set off. So while I was there I made sure to stare at the ground & remain silent! So I’m not sure if the “Judgement Free Zone” signs are wholly accurate…lol

Do not sign up for this gym especially if you don’t live in NM and are traveling. They charged me for over a year and will not refund any of it. Military device members that used their facility while training in the area. Customer service has been horrible and even after multiple people told me the account was closed I was still getting massive charges monthly

Always clean, always nice front desk agents. I've been to planet fitness and a few different states and I'm usually always impressed. The few times I've ever had to say anything the front desk staff has always been right on top of it immediately. The only reason I give it a four star is not any fault to my specific location but a downside to all locations, and that is there is no sauna. I absolutely love the Black card pricing and benefits, which is what I have and always have had. I use the water massage beds and the stand-up tanning beds always. The absolute icing on the cake would be if they added a steam room or sauna.

My experience is I am traveling medical professional. I have opened an account in state of florida, then did all SOPs to cancel and they continued to charge me after I left the state. 2 years later I thought I’d let them redeem themselves and not only did they get worse they reinstated the florida account and my new account charging me for 2 different accounts straight from my checking account . I had to send in documents of my cancelations and documentation by planet fitness and will NEVER give them another opportunity!
