Awesome facility. Huge. Super clean. Amazing friendly staff ruined by a cheap owner. Hot water heaters are either not big enough or owner is deliberately cutting hot water to limit shower times. Made a complaint and they showed me the heaters saying they are at 120 degrees which makes me believe that they are intentionally cutting off hot water with a solenoid valve or demand controller. Seen this issue at several locations across the country with bad owners. Sad to see greedy owners especially since the owner of this one has 17 locations so he should have enough money to pay for hot water or bigger heaters.

First of all I want to thank the staff here. Ben ,Kyler, Rob, Caleb, the janitorial lady she's awesome and any name I may have forgotten or misspelled.
You all were great to me during my temporary stay in Las Cruces. Having the Black card membership is tremendous. From the massages to my favorite spot to wind down and relax in the mediation room and lounge area.
I met some wonderful people during my visits. Good energy at this place. God Bless you all and this place.
I highly recommend this Gym as your goto place for a good workout with a huge selection of machines and other equipment. The locker room is very clean , showers are hot and spotless. This place was also tremendous in a positive environment during my recovery. I have 2 months sober from meth. I've taken my health back mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually with the assistance of my membership.

Hot water never works. They have a different excuse every day. Run for 30 seconds and freezing cold that was only one other guy in the shower on my side and my wife was the only one in the women’s side. They say there’s too many people at one time which is not true.

I have been going for the last 3 weeks and staff has been amazing, friendly and attentive! Fixed a machine within a day of letting them know my concerns. And also Omar the new personal trainer is great he worked with my abilities and it was a very accurate and personal experience that pushed my abilities but also kept it at a steady pace. 10/10 considering I have never had a gym membership.

What a great Planet Fitness, this should be the model store for all others! Gym was clean, showers were very clean and spacious! Equipment was plentiful and the right blend and amount of each. The equipment was in great shape as well. The only negative was that there seemed to only be 1 changing room by the showers, should be a few, unless I’m wrong. Normally I workout at the Telshor Location. Upgraded to the black card membership and tried El paseo for the first time this week.The place was remodeled , as I used to go to El paseo in 2011 when they first opened. This gym is massive! There's a gym within the gym! The employees are friendly , the energy is welcoming and this location is amazing!!! The giant theatre screen is badass!!! Haven't tried the spa yet (massage, tanning). 👏 👏

Some info to know before signing a contract with them. Planet fitness is OK (and pretty clean for the most part) till you ask questions about your contract. I got met with a passive aggressive attitude then got my contract cancelled (member for 3 years before that) and was told he was going to call the police on me if I came back, all that for just asking questions about my contract. Spoke with the District Manager and he just tells you whatever you want to hear then never returns calls afterwords. On the plus side I ended getting out of that contract and went on to an actual gym, thanks Colin L. For you’re lack of customer service. I hope you’re future interviewer finds this review helpful.

This place is way off!!! It's dirty, smells, has no paper towels, or full spray bottles to clean the equipment. If I had several other planet fitnesses to go to besides these two, I would find one that was clean ,sanitized throughly, and workers who cared about the health and wellness of their patrons. Five employees standing behind the counter, and you're lucky if they even say a word to you. Rules at this gym are rarely enforced. It's become difficult to use the half hour circuit machines while teenagers sit on the machines doing nothing but texting and daring you to do anything about it. Several machines are broken down, the visual reminder in the circuit room no longer works, I saw two members come in wearing jeans and boots which is expressly not allowed and is stated on the wall with other do's and dont's which some members ignore. Luckily I can go to other PF locations where rules are followed and machines don't have the "out of order" signs for months which is ironic because there's posters everywhere stating that PF has invested $$ for new equipment.

Well as all things they require work after 35 days I have been able to do a mile @ 13:30 yeah it's still slow but it's progress. I can lift 20 lbs more on each machine than my first week. Beautiful gym! As a commercial truck driver, I got stuck waiting for a delivery and I scoured the internet to see if this was tractor/trailer friendly to no avail. I decided to chance it and if you go at night, there’s one or two spots for a truck and trailer but I wouldn’t even try during the day. Wife and I signed up for a membership and selected this location as our home base club during their remodel. We used the Telshor location several times but never made it into this branch to work out. We have been trying to get our membership canceled for three months now and it still isn’t canceled. No one there is helpful at all with our need to cancel, they just read the contract rules and make it as extremely difficult to cancel as they can. They advised me to put a stop pay on our account and now they are back to charging us even after we were told it should be cancelled moving forward. Planet fitness is not there for the members, they are more interested is getting monthly membership fees than they are providing customer service. Will not be getting another membership with them in the future.

I am new to Planet Fitness and usually go to the other location with my son, which I love. This location however was awful from the time a walked through the door. You open the door and it's hot and stuffy, absolutely no air flow. The person that was at the front desk was absolutely rude! No customer service whatsoever and definitely didn't look appropriate with makeup drawn all over its face like a toddler that got into Mom's makeup. Long pinkish/purple greasy stringy hair. It looked like it hadn't showered in a week. Immediately told me that my son couldn't come in. He is 13 and I have never had an issue bringing him with me before. The thing behind the counter was very rude and when it started verbally spewing at the mouth I just turned around and walked out. I do not recommend this location at all!!

Great place! I have been to many Planet Fitness locations, and I think this one is really nice. The mens’ locker room was really clean, and the gym itself is super clean as well. It looked like they even have a single occupancy restroom (maybe even a shower, I didn’t see) which I think is awesome and I believe that will help many people feel welcome and comfortable here. I enjoyed this gym for the convenience, space, and budget friendliness as a perk. Although, with the recent remodeling I cannot seem to be so frustrated as to how much they catered to cardio and hamsters on the treadmills. The free weights section is so claustrophobic you CANNOT bend over without the person over sniffing your rear end. It's PATHETIC... they pushed all the machines and free weights to the front of all the cardio equipment so you could permanently do death stares with opposing patrons. Great place all the way around - staff, facilities and parking! Most of all, I love the fact they are available in many, many small towns across the country! When I travel, I plan my driving stops according to where the PF’s are and they have very consistent quality! (and I don’t have to mention how bad the quality of fitness rooms are in most motels!!). PF franchises are frequently located in previous retail outlets, like furniture stores or groceries, with huge parking lots which makes access very easy especially because they draw a lot of business! Also, because their fees are very economical, it draws a lot of younger people, couples and a diverse clientele which I like!

I loved working out at this location. The staff was helpful and friendly. All the equipment worked perfectly and they worked hard to keep the facilities clean.

When I wanted to cancel, they said I had to come and fill out a form. Ok, I did that and my credit card has been charged for months. When I call to talk to the manager... he is always:off, on break, just left, etc. Now it has left a bad taste in my mouth. I am not sure I would recommend working out there. I’ll still rate five stars But the Redlight Machine is more like a Pink Light Machine and has been like that for months, also the fan above now has a loud grinding noise which makes me want to cut my session in half due to the annoyance. So your telling me I can work out on all the equipment, take any cardio class that I like, and still get a hair cut and a high pressure water massage? Man, this is the deal of the century. It's a miracle any other gyms are still open at this rate. Better be careful because it may just put everyone else away. The atmosphere is friendly. I totally feel the no judgement zone. It's very relaxed and the machines are easy to use, set up in a way that I can do a full body workout in about half an hour if I'd like to. This is the hot spot. Come one come all. And bring a friend.
