Hello, I have been attending Power flex gym for a year now. I specifically go to this location and I love how clean and nice the employees are. Laurel is always so friendly and I always see her cleaning very friendly employee.

This is a great no frills 24 hour gym that has clean/working equipment and amazing staff especially Laurel she is a fantastic staff member at this location and she is very accommodating. Overall if you don’t like the hustle and bustle of all of the bigger gyms and no wait times then I recommend coming here.

If you're looking for smaller and peaceful gym for extra exercise or for aggressive bodybuilding; This gym is for you.
People are so nice there, do their own thing and don't bother you.
Also, into bodybuilding, I've not seen a gym in some time where dumbbells go to 150; incredible.
For me, I'm a calisthenics freak so i must have more space but great minus that.

Great staff, equipment all kept clean and I've seen the maintenance come through here so the machines are definitely kept up. Laurel signed me up for my 7 day trial, super friendly and helpful. After my trial ended, Katie was at the desk, a very helpful in getting me the best promotional rate for my membership.

Last week, my girlfriend and I signed up for a one-year membership and visited the San Pedro location to familiarize ourselves with the facility. I utilized my membership card to access the gym, while she did not bring her keys. Approximately five minutes after our arrival, Laurel approached us in an aggressive manner, inquiring whether we would prefer to pay cash or with a credit card. I informed her that we were members, to which she responded with an attitude regarding the sign-in process. I explained our ignorance and departed. I intend to explore the possibility of terminating our contract to avoid such treatment in the future.

The employee kept harassing my teen boys during their entire workout. They’ve been working out for 2 years, so they know gym etiquette. My boys gave me footage of other guys being much louder and more aggressive when working out, yet this young lady, evening shift, kept being rude to the teens. When
I later approached her, she was not rude at first and came up with every excuse in the book of why she singled out the teen boys. I informed her that my boys have been working out and that they were so excited to finally join a gym where they see other dedicated athletes. All she could muster was, “I’m sorry you feel that way!” This has nothing to do with feelings and everything to do with being professional and not harassing teen boys during a workout. She ended up yelling and screaming at me. Not sure if we will continue membership as we just started.

I don’t like big chain gyms because I find them dirty, loud and stinky. Poweflex is none of those.

My husband and I were visiting from out of town and so used a day pass which eas $10. So great! We got some cardio on the treadmills and the lifted some weights.

As a lady in a gym where there were mostly dudes I felt welcomed and respected.

I plan to go back when I visit ABQ again.

A great gym located in the fair heights region of Albuquerque. Friendly staff, nice mix of free weights, machines, and cardio equipment to help achieve different training goals and fitness levels. The ability to get a key fob for use of the gym during off hours (24/7) is awesome especially when one is plagued with insomnia or other health or work issues that make training harder when it must be done during standard business hours. Also offer different types of contracts (month to month, yearly) and potentially some discounts (e.g., military).

I had to ditch defined because of a new fee they decided to add, but I'm glad I did. While I will miss the sauna, this gym has everything I need to continue my fitness routine and it hasn't been crowded once since I've started going. Also, the employee is always cleaning when I'm there. The cleaning sprayers never go empty and the paper towels never run out. The other members are also diligent about cleaning up after themselves. Easily the cleanest gym I've ever been to. That's a fine trade for a sauna.

It’s been awhile since I had a membership here but now I’m back in town and will be signing up again with my girlfriend. Great thing about this place is that it’s 24/7 and never crowded. That’s very important to me. The monthly fee is also not bad at all.

I was told when I signed up that I wouldn’t be auto deducted with the higher priced plan as I was looking for a trial gym. As I was going over bank statements and noticed auto deductions every month. They proceeded to tell me that I signed a doc stating they could take money out every month, but thought it was only for that month. My intentions were clear. So, in sum this gym doesn’t care what your intentions are or conversations you had with staff. Don’t join this gym if you’re looking for a trial period.

I’m not from the area and was just looking for a short term gym while I’m in town, it’s been great…. I’ve trained and worked at just about every Gym In Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. I think Powerflex Gym has good high quality from the equipment, staff, and members. I enjoy how it’s never overly crowed even during prime-time. I really like the 24 hour access to all the clubs because I never have to worry about the doors closing especially during the holidays. Staff is very respectful and never bother you and allow you to feel comfortable. I primarily only train at midtown but would like to visit the other clubs soon. Thank you!

It’s a small location, but has enough equipment to get a good workout. I’ve been able to develop routines targeting different body parts during separate visits. I’ve only visited after hours, but feel safe with a short walk to the entrance and the door locking right away after I enter.

I'm a relatively new member with Powerflex. I joined as month to month to test out and see how is like it. I've already switched over to an annual contract because of how much I'm loving it there. The equipment is just what I need. The staff is always so welcoming and helpful. I've felt so comfortable since day one. When I had called to ask questions on membership and such I saw a post here on there stuff saying it was free, when I had called and asked lady was very rude and laughed about the question I had asked. Regardless i was still okay with paying for it until the girl had been rude . going to a gym I expect to be comfortable and not judged on anything especially FROM STAFF not professional at all .

I love this gym! I tried the free trial and realized it's exactly what I've been looking for. The price is great (no annual fees/ hidden fees) and it fits my needs. There's locations all over town which is very convenient. It's small, clean, and has great equipment. It's nice to get away from the corporate atmosphere that the big gyms have and support a local gym. I would definitely recommend this gym to any of my friends/family.

Like this gym because I'm still able to go even if there is no staff. It's a true 24/7 gym. Has all the stuff you need. Treadmills, ellipticals,. Lots of free weights. Dumbbells go up to 110 or more I believe. The location on 4th and osuna has a cut off section that is almost separate from the other stuff for free bench, deadlifting, squats all the good stuff. Feel free to grunt and lunk away.

This gym is 10/10 when it's not crowded and 9/10 when it is. Very simple, very small. For those dedicated to going to the gym, this place is great. You have your own key card to get in. We aren't allowed to let people in who knock. I would say it's pretty secure, too.

The best. I originally tried this place out because my work schedule had me working odd hours and was having to workout at 2/3am but this place ended up being way better than I could have imagined. The same girl helped me when I joined and when I had to cancel my membership because I moved :(. She was so helpful and so awesome. I’m moving back and looking forward to joining again ASAP !

The location on San Pedro, formerly Mike's Gym, is our gym. My husband and I were members of Mike's and we decided to stay on. So glad we did! The new owner greatly improved the gym: new equipment and clean. It's not a big gym, but has all the necessary equipment. As a woman, what I like about this gym is that it has a variety of folks. No body builders hogging machines here. Also, the gym attendants are helpful. If I don't know how to use a machines they're always happy to help out. My husband and I will continue our membership.
