I was invited here by my friend and had a great back and biceps pump and was really enjoying the equipment. I signed up for the 7 day free trial but found out today my friend was charged on his account for my visit. Very disappointed. You need to do better powerflex!

I like working out at Powerflex and get more workout time compared to other gyms based on my work schedule. It's not too crowded either at 6:00 am. I do wish they had more showers though.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this gym. My membership was abruptly terminated due to an alleged violation of rules, even though I made sure to follow all of the gym's guidelines. To make matters worse, when I inquired about the reason behind the termination, I was met with zero clarity or explanation.

On top of that, during my interactions with staff, I was cussed at by one worker and then had a manager raise their voice at me in an unprofessional manner. This type of treatment is completely unacceptable, especially when I was only seeking an explanation about my membership.

I’ve never encountered such poor customer service, and the lack of communication and respect is beyond frustrating. I strongly urge management to improve their communication and professionalism—this experience has made me feel completely disregarded as a customer. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this gym and I will be taking my business elsewhere!!

This is a great gym with good equipment.

It would be nice to have more towels with which to clean equipment. It is gross having to touch the soaked towels and defeats the purpose of having them there when they are saturated.

For all the current patrons, if you are not using a machine, move away from it. It's very inconsiderate to lounge on it with friends when others are waiting.

I just listened to my granddaughter expressing frustration because she is subject to $25 a month payments to this gym for two years although she isn't going to it. I read most of these reviews and see many complaints of the same, and the remarks from the ownership in that regard. I also read very positive reviews of the cleanliness, staff, equipment, convenience, etc., many rating 5 stars. So with respect to both I'm pitching 3 stars on behalf of my granddaughter because she won't offer a review. She doesn't want to participate in social influence, I suppose best states her rationale. I'm proud of her. Me on the other hand, I think something needs to be said. I've been in professional business all of my life and am retired now. I can't understand justification of a business that thrives on the unknowing commitment of young people for any reason except opportunism. She said she was told it's in the contract. She said she joined online. Apparently she clicked on the link that everyone online tends to click on in acceptance of all the terms and conditions. Now she did move from home, but not the 25 mile requirement. But she said she incerely found the gym not to be what she expected as the deeper reason she doesnt go. It just wasn't for her. So when trying to cancel, the message she got back is that she has to pay until the end of her term, October 2025, but won't be automatically renewed. $25 a month doesn't sound like a lot but to young lady working and going to school it is. I don't see any wisdom in this business move at all and it really grieves my heart. I would never recommend this business to anyone. Any business with a sense of fairness and integrity would never render payment for unwanted goods or services. If the business really is that good, it would thrive on those that need and use it for that reason. As Moses said, "Let my people go." If indeed you are better than that.

My daughter came out with me to Albuquerque and signed up while here, she tried canceling her membership and asked for a guardian, I called and stopped by a few times short hours and only there when I’m at work. I emailed and asked they stop and cancel she went back to school two hours away close to Arizona and the refuse to cancel. Now they are asking I and her prove we don’t live in Albuquerque, when clearly I call using a McKinley county number and the address was a rental. Worst experience I’m having in canceling. When my daughter’s going she enjoyed it was close by and convenient. But who knew they were like this when u want to cancel for going home. Help!!!

Not a bad little gym as far as dumbbells,racks, and barbells go. Cardio equipment isn’t the best and the machines well used. The price isn’t bad at $21 a month without a contract or annual fee. I used it while out of town for a week. There wasn’t really a place to stretch though. For the price, depending on what you want it could be perfect.

Its name and small size might give the impression that it's a hardcore bodybuilder/powerlifter gym. It isn't. After ten plus years away from any kind of fitness routine and putting on some unwanted weight, I didn't feel I was out of place at all. The gym is clean, friendly, quiet, reasonably priced, well equipped and not too crowded.

Every gym has its pros and cons but I’m a fan. It’s smaller so it doesn’t draw in crowds, but you do have to time it if you don’t want to go when it does fill up. They don’t have multiple machines of each type so that is a drawback, however they make great use of their space.

I just started going to Powerflex and I'm glad I chose this gym. This place has all the equipment you need and a friendly staff. Also, it has a lot of flexible options for membership plans, so you're not locked into anything long-term if you don't want to be. All their plans are affordable and they also have multiple locations that are all accessible by key card at any time of the day.

This a great gym for the location and price. It’s kept clean for the most part. I got only two minor wishes or hopes..the place needs more ventilation(running fans) and at least one more stair master. One ain’t enough.
So even that, I still highly recommend this gym.

Powerflex is a nice little gym except that it is so hot in there. Especially, if you are working out in the cardio area. I really wish they would install some ceiling fans over the cardio machines. It’s unbearable especially in the summer months. Every once in a while there will be a couple floor fans but they are ineffective and not always present.

I joined the Powerflex gym at Ventana about a month ago. This is a small to medium size gym with all the typical free weights, several weight lifting machines, and all the typical cardio machines. They also have a stairclimber which is a bit rare.

So far I enjoy coming here. The staff is friendly and there a good portion of the day and into the evening with access 24 hours, which I love.

The place is always clean with plenty of cleaner to police after yourself on the equipment.

My biggest factor in choosing this location is its only a five minute jog from the house which is perfect. I don’t want to have to drive to workout.

I would love to see one or two row machines added.

Most likely I will remain a loyal customer while I’m living in the area.

I chose this gym over a “big gym” because of the trust shown to the members. This gym has a personal feel to it. Like the members are part of the gym, not just paying to use the facilities. 24 hour 365 day access is awesome for people with crazy work schedules too.

Love this little gym in the heart of Ventana Ranch. Has everything you need, large variety of equipment- cardio, weights, etc. Super friendly staff was not only helpful but welcoming. I love that there aren’t a lot of people so the ease of using equipment was perfect! My only qualm was the bodybuilder screaming and grunting while lifting - I could personally do without the sound effects (But that has nothing to do with the gym itself.) And I didn’t like that they use cloth towels instead of paper towels to wipe down equipment which seemed like a breeding ground for cross contamination since they were being used by everyone over and over again. Didn’t get to check out the bathrooms but I definitely intend on revisiting since I paid the $5 fee for a key fob.

Clean and convenient. I go early in the morning and it is very rarely busy. I have also gone in the evening and haven't had an issue with machine crowding. Speaking of machines, there is one for almost every exercise as well as multiple squat racks.
