I discovered Cathie when I moved to New Mexico in 2022. I'm so glad that I found my way to her class and energy ❤️ Namaste

The yoga instructor is fully engaged with her students and she really helps students perfect their technique. I have really enjoyed every class I’ve attended and highly recommended Rio Rancho yoga!

I've been doing yoga with Cathy for just over five years now. I enjoy all the classes from Super Gentle Flow to Energetic Flow and always benefit from them. Cathy addresses the needs of her students and will often tailor the class to suit our health issues. She's knowledgeable, patient, energetic and intuitive.

I have been doing yoga with Cathie for 2 1/2 years. She is so fun to work out with and seems to have an intuitive sense of routines that best meet her clients' specific needs. She is very encouraging and positive and it is because of that that I have made so much progress in opening up and advancing my practice. When I work out with her I have a very relaxed feeling which translates well into the poses. Yoga has changed my life and I've been able to attain a level of peace and calm that is proving to be very healthful for myself. But it does take time so the "newbie yogi" needs to be patient. Thanks Cathie for your encouragement and support!

A little over four years ago, I relocated to NM, and began looking to restart my yoga practice. Just about that time Cathie started her business, Rio Rancho Yoga. She says I am her first student! I like her classes because each one is different, depending on the number of students, how we feel that day, who has special issues to address, etc.. It's definitely not chatterbox time, we attempt and accomplish challenging poses. I'm 70 years old, and most of the students in classes I've attended are older adults who have practiced yoga in the past. So I'm not feeling stressed out by younger more flexible bodies. I like that Cathie searches for classes to improve not only her own yoga skills, but also how to improve her teaching yoga skills. She often refers to lessons she learned during her teacher training classes. She also shares with us about her other classes so I know she is also hands-on, and will assist students newer to yoga with their positioning. I also appreciate her mentioning modifications to certain poses I can use when creaky joints won't cooperate!
