amazing gym for kids.... the instructors were so kind and caring and provided such individualized assistance to each child. the management staff were very helpful with scheduling and attending to the family's needs. the combo class was a fantastic way to introduce our toddler to tap, ballet and gymnastics! the recital was a great way to promote confidence and share their learned skills. It’s a nice place to socialize your kids. But maybe give a heads up of what happens when you’re 2 minutes late and it’s your first time coming here. And unfortunately it happened to my husband and I and we stood around waiting for someone at the front desk when there was nobody. We were left standing like a deer in headlights because we weren’t sure what to do or where to go. Then when approaching one of the teachers she says “oh you’re late your kiddos class is that one” we had been standing waiting on where to go and no body told us anything. In the class my daughter was completely overwhelmed. There were 18 kids in that class I thought there would only be 8-10 at most but I was clearly mistaken just very disappointed and felt very judged because my daughter was miserable the whole time. We will never go again.

The little gym of Abq has been the highlight of our week for almost 2 years now. Our kids love that they get a special place and time one on one with mommy or daddy doing fun, new, and active things! It has given them so much practice with making friends, communicating their needs, following rules, taking turns, and learning new skills! Watching them become more and more confident and independent every class just warms our heart so much! I adore how sweet and energetic the teachers are and how interested they are in my children! There aren’t many things you can do program wise with littles consistently as they are too young for sports.. so this is a great Segway to prepare their minds and bodies for future sports or even just structured social settings. We started our kids in daycare recently and I fully attribute their great start/adjustment in that to the growth they’ve accomplished in little gym! Thank you little gym of Abq for helping us get our babies futures off to the right start!

We are so thankful we found The Little Gym Albuquerque on Paseo and Golf Course. We have been members of The Little Gym for almost 2 years and we have been so happy with the overall atmosphere and values of the gym. The staff is so incredibly welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and just absolutely fantastic!

The gym offers everything from parent-tot classes, to ballet, tap, hip hop, daycare, birthday parties and “parent survival nights”. Our daughter has been taking gymnastics since she was 2.5 and ballet, tap and hip hope since she’s turned 3 and it is a perfect intro where she can get an age appropriate level of the skills all while having the time of her life.

Recently we tried a “Parent Survival Night” and it was such an awesome opportunity for her to be in a safe and fun environment while my husband and I enjoyed a much needed date-night! At the member price we paid $35 for 3 hours. This included fun activities for her, pizza and a movie. She was so excited to go and had so much fun!

We love The Little Gym Albuquerque so much. We even booked it for her birthday party in a few weeks and can’t wait! 10:10 recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely love The Little Gym of Albuquerque! As a first-time mom, I was initially looking for mommy and me classes to do with my daughter when we found this gym. Miss Sky was always so kind and fun that after our first free class, we signed up for a membership. 2 years later, my daughter is still doing gymnastics, now on her own. All her teachers are kind, understanding, and patient. My daughter only speaks Spanish, but none of the staff belittle or mistreat her for this. I 100% recommend this place for any and all kiddos.

I do not review many establishments but for TLG, I am very happy to write this review. My family had stumbled across TLG two years ago while looking for toddler activities. There was a free introduction session for new members to enroll into so we took advantage of that. That was all It took and we were hooked! The TLG offers many sessions based on age group. The classes are catered to that age groups particular development milestones. It is a wonderful experience as a parent to watch your child struggle with new obstacles/movements but after every session, they will become masters of new skills. My child is two years old currently so I can only speak to our experience at this age. The instructors are vibrant and welcoming to both adults and participants. The instructors add to the experience of TLG and all sponsored events. The team goes above and beyond create a safe and inclusive facility. On the note of sponsored events, TLG will offer holiday events and adult/child socials, some events being at very affordable fee rates. The facility is well kept up with sanitation, inside the tumbling room and in the lobby areas and restrooms. The staff also conduct a thorough deep clean frequently. My 3 year old granddaughter CC loves the Little Gym and so do we. She was shy at first and wouldn’t participate in the beginning warm up until “it’s time to go to my station with my teacher” but now she is so excited and runs right in at the start of class! My daughter went to TLG for a year before we just pulled her Friday due to schedule conflicts personally. She started in the baby class (with janelle) and made it to the beast class (with Megan). I have to say, I really loved our time there. It really helped my daughter and I bond, she learned so many new things aside from gym activities like bonding, socializing, structure, routine, and even some sign language.

Because of the pandemic, we wanted to find our daughter a place to socialize and learn some physical skills while having fun.

While TLG delivers on this concept, the management as a business leaves a lot to be desired. You will not feel valued as a customer, which is why I'm writing this review.

My main gripe revolves around make-up classes. Essentially, if your child is sick you call in for that week and, since you've paid for the class already, you get to come back to use it later. You cannot use these make up sessions if you lapse on payment on a monthly basis (i.e. you must come multiple times a week to use them) since they can't be used to extend membership. Additionally, if you choose to cancel classes you need to use all the classes within the last month you paid for.

The hypocritical part of this is that if your child is sick, you are advised not to bring them in. Doing this nets you make-up credits subject to their ridiculous policies. I've been twice in the year my daughter has been going and always see sick kids there, and now I know why. You're punished for doing the responsible thing.

We have brought this matter to management's attention and they've provided no concessions, so we'll be putting our daughter into another place.

I hope this helps someone avoid the same mistakes we made when selecting a place to involve their kid.

We are so grateful for this gym. It’s always very clean and they always enforce washing hands, and masks worn by all. It’s posted throughout their gym, online and the teachers reiterate if anyone is feeling ill please do not attend class. They have an amazing makeup class policy to keep everyone safe and healthy. My son must be in the same class . The little boy was coughing productive and a really wet cough with mucus streaming from his face which you know went all over everything in the gym and other children . What I’m not understanding is why little gym is allowing these sick children to come into the gym to potentially affect all the kids in the class . I think they need to better job of sending the kids away when they see or hear a really sick child . That’s on the staff and most importantly manegment to not allow sick children to participate . My son is now sick and the only place where he could have picked it up was little gym because after that little boy was in class my son got sick right after .

Unfortunately I dont know what to think anymore. This place was great. But... Restrictions on sick kids are very lax. While in a makeup class another child coughed in my daughters face. That poor baby was drooling and had runny mucous constantly running from his face. The parent was not pulled aside until the class was over. I am so upset about this and I wish other parents cared more. The Little Gym seems to not care all that much either and I am so disappointed. I am torn between whether or not to keep sending my child as she loves her class. Her teacher is amazing. I was told that they never let this happen but it did. I feel they are weak in this area and hope they do something to make it safer for our children. Screening would be nice.

My grandson loves this it’s good for them to interact with others, i do wish they would have a policy of any kids with runny nose sneezing or coughing to stay home !!! Covid reasons. I have been taking my daughter here for about 7 months now and it's been absolutely wonderful to see how far she has come. I love it because it forces her to get out of her comfort zone and take risks while also helping me to get out of my comfort zone and foster her desire to explore and figure things out on her own. We have experienced a number of the instructors from being in two different age range classes and going to makeup classes and having substitutes and everyone has been so wonderful. They really make the kids/parents feel comfortable and they explain the proper spotting techniques to ensure that you are not going to do any harm to your child while doing certain moves. I love this place and will continue bringing my daughter for as long as she loves it.

Took my girls (6 & 8) to try a "flips"class. To help them advance in their dance classes with walk over, aerials, etc. Wasn't impressed. Half the time was instructions and the other half was rolling across the floor, summersaults, jumping over a beam on the floor and that's pretty much all. It cost about 70 bucks a kid, for this price you can literally go to a real gymnastics center with certified trainers. This place definitely seems more geared towards mommy and me type classes. Viewing room was nice. Hence the two stars.
